      I feel like I have a tendency to ramble a little lol. I'm glad I'm still clear enough to understand.

    As always, great narration & an informative video. My bite rate at kuori lake with pike is great, everything else not so much. That'll be that 30kg steel leader then lol. It's all a learning curve 😆

      @Lilian Cândido catching pike at kuori with a 0.7mm thick fluorocarbon leader, not got bitten off yet lol. Didn't realise the steel leaders are half as thick, even a 30kg steel leader?

      @@SweetBolin I was not using a steel leader, just using wrong ones that killed my bite rate. Short ones most of time

    Hi and thank you! I have a question: will a 50kg fluoro line plus 10kg swivels make a 10kg leader "resistent" to pikes but ideal for my 11kg rod, or will it be, in terms of pike resistance, the same as using a 10kg line?

      I realize I missed this comment a long time ago but for anyone reading and wanting an answer here it is. In terms of the thickness of the line it should actually be pike bite resistant. However you don't need to go this high to protect yourself from pikes. A 28kg fluoro line used in a leader will be absolutely fine in protecting you from 99.9% of pikes. The few it wont protect you from are blue tag trophies. When it comes down to using a small swivel like a 10kg then yes the leader will have a weak point at the swivels and you can use it on a smaller setup to ensure it breaks before anything else on your setup does. So a 28kg fluoro line with 10kg swivels will be pike bite proof but will break first if your tension bar maxes and the rest of your gear is 10% higher weight capacity than your leader.

    Thank you for your video! Though you did not consider that a pikes mouth could be longer/bigger than the length of the leader and bite through the line regardless of the thickness of the leader. In that case 60 cm would make more sense.

      Right, but I'm pretty sure the Devs didn't program anything like that into the game. Which is why I didn't mention it.

    29:00 when explaining gear just say. the weakest part decides what load it can have.

    Mono leaders have a function if/when u use braid line. Also ive heard conflicting info on long feeder leaders. Line color has been in dispute from the start of game and devs have avoided direct answer ever since.

    • @midnightgamingwithmysticni947
      @midnightgamingwithmysticni947  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mono leaders have absolutely no use with braided line. Fluoro leaders are always going to have a better bite rate and have a larger diameter so pikes have a harder time biting it off. There's no reason to ever use mono.
      The information I got from leader length is directly from the moderators off the forums in past discussions. It is also the way leaders work in real life. So now you can correct people who give out conflicting info.
      Devs have not avoided the question of line color. About a year and a half ago they answered this question directly through a dev live stream and a forum post. It's 100% true that line color has no effect as of yet. However they are considering implementing it in the future. MDawg can corroborate this. He actually found the post on one of his live streams and showed it.

    Can you make a video about type of fishes that are most common caught? I feel like game has milion fishes but we only catch few of them most of the time.

    • @midnightgamingwithmysticni947
      @midnightgamingwithmysticni947  ปีที่แล้ว

      You actually couldn't be more right. The game is pretty centered around certain fish for the most part. Even in different lakes and rivers this fish are pretty much the same except maybe a different coloration and name. The only real different ones are trolling fish, carp, and small pan fish caught while float or wacky rigging.

    yeah I don't got time to watch a long ass video.
    I'm sure it's great information but I don't have time today.
    Is nylon okay for carp?
