Hi! Same feels Aura. Isa rin akong scholar (PLM) at totoo na madaming expectations para saatin na magdodoctor. Kahit na desire ko ang pagmemed, syempre, tao lang rin naman ako na napapagod. Di rin biro yung walang tulog dahil sa mga assessment namin. Minsan pa nga wala akong kain na maayos dahil hindi naman pwede malate sa klase kaya tiis nalang para mamaintain ang grades. Napaisip rin ako noon kung tama ba ang tinatahak kong daan, kung magiging maganda ba yung buhay ko dito, kung magiging masaya ba ko pagkatapos nito? Well, hindi natin malalaman unless matapos natin ito, diba? All we need to do is let God decide for us and he will lead us to the best way. Ngayon, alam kong hindi ka lang ang nagdesisyon para ituloy ang pagmemed, I believe he was a part of your choices, and no, he's not just a part but forever will be a part of your life. Nasa ganito akong phase ngayon, I'm turning 20 this year, sobrang nahihirapan na ko ngayong college so hindi ko maiwasan na mag doubt and matakot sa mga "what if grumaduate ako, magkatrabaho kaya ako?" "what if mataas nga grade ko, may assurance na ba ako maging successful?" "what if malampasan ko ang struggles ng college, pero hindi ko kayanin ang real world" so on and so forth. I knew mas mahirap ang pinagdadaanan ng mga nagpapaaral sakin may mga point talaga na pinanghihinaan ako ng loob kung makakaya ko ba. I hope kayanin ko, and for those na nakaka experienced ng same situations as mine, I hope kayanin mo din! Kayanin natin, okay?💛

And to all the aspiring students who’s currently fighting for their dreams in medical (even not), and to those who’re about to take the course, continue to dream and never give up. I myself have been thinking of the things that could be done if I fail or didn’t achieve something through the process considering the current situation but I’m very encouraged and loved by my family, friends and inspired by people like Ms. Aura. Ganyan talaga ang buhay ma'am parang ako din nong nag aaral ako, nag working student ako, may tatlong scholarship piro kinukolang parin dahil sa maraming gastusin, nang hihingi parin ako sa parents ko kahit papano. Salamat at pinakita mo rin na natutukso karin na normal kang tao. No one's has perfect.
Besh graduating palang ako ng pre-med relate na ko sayo. Everytime na bayaran na ng tuition iiyak na ko habang nag me message sa tatay ko sa abroad kahit hindi naman siya nag rereklamo, ang bigat lang sa feeling na parang nagiging burden ka sa pamilya. Kahit di ka pa nakakarating dun proud na sila sayo kaya mas lalo nakakapressure kahit buo desisyon mo sa tinatahak mo.
Med school is like seeing your self hanging at the edge of a building. If you pass someone will pull you off. If you failed someone will cut the rope for you to fall. Pre-med is so stressfull how much more in medicine students and in a big med school.

I can relate to dok aura, minsan kasi akala ng mga tao pag achiever ka parang hindi ka na tao. Ang perfect lang talaga ng image mo sa iba na pag one wrong move lang balita na agad sa lahat. sobrang hirap ng sitwasyon nya before kasi torned sya between her family and herself, kaya hindi nyo sya masisisi kung bakit may mga bagay syang nagawa na sa tingin nyo ay mali, idagdag pa na doktor sya. tama sya, nobody is perfect at aminin man natin o hindi lahat tayo may mga nagawa o nagagawang pagkakamali. but look at her now, successful na sya at nag-migrate na sa America. wag laging mali ang tignan natin, afterall no one deserves to be judged in a harsh way.

Tbh this is me right now I see myself in her. As a high school student who hasn't proven my achievement to my parent is so heartbreaking because I see people earning money while I'm just here sitting listening to my teacher and studying. I want to become a successful person but I don't think I’ll be able to do it because I don't work enough and I don't know what to do.
Everytime na nakararamdam akong pressure, I will always go back here to watch this video. Wala pamandin akong nararating, my family is so proud of me na at minsan nakakalunod narin yung idea na baka madisappoint ko sila, as I am a consistent honor student. Now, that I am on my last semester in college, pressured ako na makapagtapos with Latin Honor knowing na may target akong grade para makamit iyon. Hindi rin ako nagsasabi sa kanila ng situation ko rito sa company na pinasukan ko for my internship; napaka toxic, maraming demand, at higit sa lahat, hindi ko naprapractice yung napag-aralan ko sa loob ng 7 semester sa paaralan. Aside from that, panganay ako at after ko makuha diploma ko, may dalawang kapatid pa akong pag-aaralin; take note, pareho na silang magcocollege by that time. Sana makayanan ko.
Hello self, it's nearly 3 months now since we got the diploma we hardly worked with and guess what, we made it with flying colors. Right now, I am hear again to tell you that we are lost. I don't know where to go and what to do. Ang hirap kalabanin ng pressure na galing sa sarili natin. I tried naman to apply, send ng resume kahit hindi na aligned sa tinapos natin pero ang hirap makahanap ng trabaho sa bansang napakataas ng working standards. Nakakahiya na sa family natin though they're not obliging us to find work pero ang sakit lang na makita araw-araw yung mga pangangailan na hindi napupunan lalo't alam mong kaya mo naman sana ibigay kung may trabaho ka. Self, Tita Kat is opening us the opportunity to apply for JET Programme in Japan. Mahabang proseso siya. Maraming mga aplikante kasi maraming nangangarap non. But hopefully, we will make it. I can relate to dok aura, minsan kasi akala ng mga tao pag achiever ka parang hindi ka na tao. Ang perfect lang talaga ng image mo sa iba na pag one wrong move lang balita na agad sa lahat. When dok aura said "alam lang nila nag aaral ako" it wasn't always just like that. Ang dami dami ding emotionl baggage dala tapos wala ka masabihan kasi akala nila nag aaral ka lang talaga ☹
sobrang hirap ng sitwasyon nya before kasi torned sya between her family and herself, kaya hindi nyo sya masisisi kung bakit may mga bagay syang nagawa na sa tingin nyo ay mali, idagdag pa na doktor sya. tama sya, nobody is perfect at aminin man natin o hindi lahat tayo may mga nagawa o nagagawang pagkakamali. but look at her now, successful na sya at nag-migrate na sa America. wag laging mali ang tignan natin, afterall no one deserves to be judged in a harsh way.

Tbh this is me right now I see myself in her. As a high school student who hasn't proven my achievement to my parent is so heartbreaking because I see people earning money while I'm just here sitting listening to my teacher and studying. I want to become a successful person but I don't think I’ll be able to do it because I don't work enough and I don't know what to do.
Everytime na nakararamdam akong pressure, I will always go back here to watch this video. Wala pamandin akong nararating, my family is so proud of me na at minsan nakakalunod narin yung idea na baka madisappoint ko sila, as I am a consistent honor student. Now, that I am on my last semester in college, pressured ako na makapagtapos with Latin Honor knowing na may target akong grade para makamit iyon. Hindi rin ako nagsasabi sa kanila ng situation ko rito sa company na pinasukan ko for my internship; napaka toxic, maraming demand, at higit sa lahat, hindi ko naprapractice yung napag-aralan ko sa loob ng 7 semester sa paaralan. Aside from that, panganay ako at after ko makuha diploma ko, may dalawang kapatid pa akong pag-aaralin; take note, pareho na silang magcocollege by that time. Sana makayanan ko.
Hello self, it's nearly 3 months now since we got the diploma we hardly worked with and guess what, we made it with flying colors.
Right now, I am hear again to tell you that we are lost. I don't know where to go and what to do. Ang hirap kalabanin ng pressure na galing sa sarili natin. I tried naman to apply, send ng resume kahit hindi na aligned sa tinapos natin pero ang hirap makahanap ng trabaho sa bansang napakataas ng working standards. Nakakahiya na sa family natin though they're not obliging us to find work pero ang sakit lang na makita araw-araw yung mga pangangailan na hindi napupunan lalo't alam mong kaya mo naman sana ibigay kung may trabaho ka. Self, Tita Kat is opening us the opportunity to apply for JET Programme in Japan. Mahabang proseso siya. Maraming mga aplikante kasi maraming nangangarap non. But hopefully, we will make it. Let's work for it together huh. Kung nakikita mong pagod and suko na ako, remind me of the reasons why we're doing it noon paman okay? Kung kaloob man Niya ito alam kong matutuwa ka rin. Andon yung buhay na pinapangarap mo para sa pamilya natin diba? Mahirap man pero ilalaban natin ito. Kaya at kakayanin natin diba? Para sa pamilya at para sa pangarap.
Right now, ang panalangin KO lang may our God sustained us physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually until we reach the place where He really wants us to be. Kapit lang. Kapit pa.
