H2O - Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮
After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜♀️🌊

I hope Jonathan M. Shiff bring back the h2o series again in this era by release season 4 for h2o or mako mermaids or maybe a reboot show for any of these 2 shows becuz it's been 8 years mako mermaids had ended & 14 years h2o had ended
I only want H2O. It's much more mature while still being suitable for little kids, has better plot, better characters, better pacing. I could watch it with my kids if I hadn't already rewatched it to death. Mako Mermaids is so vapid I'd either puke or fall asleep.
@@Lestibournes yeah, I also like h2o's plot more than mako mermaids becuz it's all about teenage girls deal with their mermaid transformations & powers & have their powers upgraded in each season but in mako mermaids all of the natural mermaids have all of the powers & seems overpowered
@@limdennis813 I think the plot was better in seson 1 of mako, then in the whole H2O serie.
I love both h2o and mako mermaids equally they are both great shows

H2O and Mako Mermaids only share the concept that three girls become mermaids
not even that
Wrong becuz in H2O season 2 if u included Charlotte, there were 4 girls had became mermaids & in season 3 if u included Emma off screen, there were also 4 girls (including Bella) became mermaids
Meanwhile in Mako Mermaids the plot is different from H2O, in every seasons there are 3 natural mermaids temporary became humans, in season 1 only Zac became merman & in season 2 only Evie became mermaid & later in season 3 she lose her mermaid powers

Mako mermaids unlike H2O has a whole lot of extra mermaids, a few guest mermaids (Aquata, Maya, Verida, two mermaid council members, Neptina, Ava, Jewel, Amaris, Naia, and Nerissa) and one supporting mermaid (Rita) with three main mermaids (Nixie, Lyla Sirena, Mimmi, Ondina, and Weilan.
I just want a special movie/episode where they finally reunite the our 3 H2o girls with the other mermaids of Mako pod
I loved it I only wished all four bella emma cleopatra and Riki could have all been there

I finished mako mermaids a couple years back. It’s…an acquired taste. 😂 Legit the only similarities are SOME of the rules about how mermaids work and that there’s 3 main girls and 1 boy to pay attention to. But the premise and story is kinda convoluted as they try to make a mermaid society.
Tbh if you try to watch it, take everything with a grain of salt after one of the main girls leave. It gets a bit more strange when another girl leaves too and tries introducing another.
It’s an okay spinoff, but the tone is kinda off and the shenanigans aren’t as fun as JAW.
Mako mermaids is mainly about 3 natural mermaids temporary became human girls to get to the land & catch the human boy which had became merman back to mako island to lose his merman powers when the full moon appeared & become a normal human again
@@limdennis813except spoiler alert they find out he is a real merman and his mom did a spell to keep his powers away and had him adopted by humans but when he fell into the moon pool the spell broke and his sister is mimi in season 2

Please explain to me, was not Mako Mermaids chronologically before H20 ? I saw all the reruns of Mako M. and I was captivated every time. But could never figure out the starting point of H20 being a continuation or not ?
