Translation Notes:
Shifu* - it means master or a master/expert worker.
Shushu*- direct meaning is uncle, but it is often used to refer an elder male in a polite way. It does not mean they are blood related.
Braised beef, old sauerkraut, stewed chicken mushroom.*-for those curious, the original dish name is
红烧牛肉- hong shao niu rou
老坛酸菜 - lao tan suan cai
鲜菇炖鸡 - Xiān gū dùn jī
These are all really common noodle dishes, especially the first two.
Maolin.*茂临 - couldn't find it. is a made up location.
Buddy Ran.* - Meaning is closer to teammate but is being used in a buddy/mate way here
Living your life for revenge.* - the line is actually this
血荐轩辕 Xue Jian Xuan Yuan - a 2004 chinese drama revolving around Yu Wenfeng, who’s family was killed overnight and was going to be killed to but got away. After surviving, he lived his life for revenge.

光明磊落 Guang ming lei luo- bright and upright
Krav Maga*- military self-defense and fighting system
xiao gege*- literal meaning is little big brother. xiao meaning young in this case. They are not related, just a means of address.
Do you think it was worth it?*- It isn't mentioned in the audio drama, but in the original book XCL asks LC this after they receive a call saying Yan Dianfeng was killed after being arrested.
