The proposal to establish another university in Ogbomoso should be seriously reconsidered because in the prevailing circumstances, the establishment of industries, large-scale mechanized farming for production of food stuff,and building of malls that would provide employment and boost availability of food are more important and should take precedence over the establishment of another university when one (LAUTECH) already exists. Besides,there are many universities in cities not far from Ogbomoso, such as (Oyo,Iwo,Ilorin,Oshogbo),and many university graduates are jobless.
