  • Welcome to Triboelectric Tuesdays, where we take you through our journey to create a method to isolate botanical trichome heads using static electricity.
We are proud to introduce the world's first Cold Plasma Electrostatic Separator. Isolate trichomes from powdered biomass in a cost effective and scalable fashion.
Tune in every Tuesday at 6PM EST.

In my opinion this is as big as rosin.... we've never had a way to isolate water soluble terps in quality sift or melt. Let me congratulate y'all and cannot wait for this tech to spread

I just sent you guys a quote request- NY processor here - this would work well with our current process.

Well done guys, you've created the concept I'd imagined years ago but much cleaner, it's a revolution. Now, by freezdrying freshly cut plants, separating the trichomes roughly, then Tribostatic, we're getting closer to being able to make dry extracted piatella, which is great fun. And with Rosin's techniques for making thca crystals, we can now do all the steps without solvents 🙏

No need to wonder. Watch triboelectric Tuesdays episode 18.

The theory sounds sweet, interested to see it in action, what sort of voltage are you passing through the plates? 💯👊💚

@420k this is the tech you and everyone in the community wanted to know about. Looks like bubble man and Sam missed boat on being the ones who shared the knowledge

This seems like a lot of pseudo-science mumbo jumbo to me! Lots of buzzwords that dont fit
Seems like all theyve done here is create an electrical capacitor. No plasma as theres no ionized gas created with atmospheric air (diatomic nitrogen and carbon dioxide).
Could the trichomes stick to the electrified plates? Perhaps, but whats the efficiency? A trichome molecule(s) is a large mass compared to an electron, so 1000V almost seems like not enough. Remeber voltage= electrical field*distance so the big gap between those plates isnt doing any favors either. And blowing trichome heads with air through a coiled tube seems like a good way to leave a lot of product behind there due to gravity and surface friction. Would love to see less animated graphics and more videos of cases studies with numbers so we can follow along at home 🤓
