Whaaaaat, footballia did me dirty! For the first time. Thanks, I’ll amend the title! P.S. and it's in the video too!( I'll pin up your comment for other people to see first.
As I've said earlier, it was a bit like Neymar's situation at the time of his transfer to Barca - he was seen as the next big thing with a pretty much limitless talent (hence the world-record fee) but there were question marks about his attitude on and off the pitch. Platini and Zico were seen as better players and Maradona's place as a potential all-time great was far from certain. The good indicator of just how highly he was rated by the general public is Bruno Conti's nickname that was given to him during the 1982 World Cup - MaraZico. Can you imagine one of the stars of the tournament getting a nickname after a player 5 years younger than him? Everything changed in 1986 though. After that no one had questioned his stance as an all-time great.
@@HarmsFootballin 82 Platini was not considered the best. Maybe Zico, but even in WC 82 the (awaited) star was Diego. Platini at the time was considered a great player, but not the best in the world. Everything changed when he went to Juventus (not immediately though). From 83 to 85 Platini was insane, and became the best player in the world (Zico was declining). In 86 he was done, and Maradona took his place (being better of course)
Maradona didn't have a good 1982 world cup, but he was football's biggest talent since his time at Argentinos. His legacy as an all time great and better than Platini and Zico only materialized post 1986. For his time at Barca, Platini was seen as the better of the two.
No es la final de la Copa del Rey, es un partido de la Liga

Actually, it looks like I've messed it up myself. Gracias anyway.

Pele was great but not better than this guy!!
Can you make Alessandro Del Piero during 1997/98 or 2001/02 season?
I actually have a half-done comp from 96 or 97 somewhere, I should get back to it.
1.27, patada con años de carcel efectiva.
messi is not even 1% of MARADONA.
Not even Top 100.
That's the difference.
Even Thomas Müller is better than messi.
ANTONELLA ROCCUZZO>PRIME ADOLF THOMAS PÜLLER. HIS MAJESTY DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA>ALLAH. N°1 MARADONA. N°2 LEO MESSI. N°3 ZIDANE. N°4 PELÉ. 🤫🤦
what are you smoking
Messi non avrebbe mai retto a tutti i calci che prendeva maradona..
Watch a different sport.
bro did people considered in 1982 already that Maradona would be even better than Pele?
How was he seen like?
His comparisions with pele at just 22?
