I first flew as an unaccompanied minor in Australia on a couple of flights in 1970’s (those were the days kids were taken up to the cockpit to meet the pilot) and continued flying until the late 80’s when suddenly I developed an acute fear of flying. I had some turbulent flights, one through an electrical storm into Darwin Northern Territory on a Fokker Friendship without any worries… now I cannot even think about boarding an aircraft without feeling immensely anxious, which has kept me earth bound for decades. It’s not turbulence I worry about, but the noise of the airplane and the feeling of confinement, no control, in a torpedo shaped transport machine. I would love to hear how you got through your fear Alex as I really want to start travelling again.
On the subject of jet streams- Last December traveling from Tokyo to Seattle, at one point we had a ground speed of 742mph! Made for a quick trip across the N Pacific. Thx for the work you do and may 2024 be a wonderful year for you and yours. Cheers!
Filmora is really awesome for video editing. It's really easy to use compared to other video editing software. I've been using it for years for my youtube channel! Alex. Yes, it would be great if you did a video on how you got over your fear of flying, BTW. I was really shocked to hear that since you travel so much!
please tell us how you overcame your fear of flying in your 20s. As a person their 20s it would be very insightful to hear your experiences during the past decade. Im actually planning my first solo trip to turkey.... yes a very scary rpospect for a person who hasnt travelled solo

Ah yes, that sounds very familiar. It took me a long time to confront the fear and get it sorted. I'll put a video together for sure.
That's useful, thanks. Happy holidays, too.
You too!

Yes I would like a video on this as well, in my mid 20s and flights are scary
song during ExpertFlyer?
Nice I’m a big Flighty fan too!
It truly is an excellent app.
Same here!
Not original but Google Maps is my go-to on foot when walking about.
It's one of the apps I use the most when I'm in a new destination.
Flighty not available on Android. Weird to start with iPhone and ignore 70% of the market...
Young, care free Alex, back before the crippling bocadillo jamon addiction set in and really took it's toll.
... Religiously 😂 lol... Great explanation ❤
