  • This is my Super Edit video for the Great Guitar Build Off 2022 in the Freestyle category.
I’m using my CNC to craft an electric ukulele for my good friend Goofy. Made from local maple, this custom instrument is a merge between a conterto ukulele and a Les Paul style guitar.
This project was made possible because of Goofy’s collaboration as he did all the editings for my videos. Merci man.
    Merci Biloute for the pictures.

Felix that is awesome. The harmonica holder in the back just sent this over the top. You did such a great job. Congratulations

Lisa...I've always said that I was not doing this for the win... I've always said that if I have just one vote, I would be happy... Guess what? YOU are my only vote!!! Thank you so much!!! Hope to see your build next year! Cheers, Félix.

I'm iffy with themed builds, but I really love how this one came together. Your instrument's design is simple and classic, the machining is incredibly tight, and I love the hidden gems like the GGBO logo and the harmonica storage. Well done!

Absolutely love the clever touches, like the neck bracing, the through string, the back cover and the mouth-organ holder. Very cool.

I love the beginning of the video, very funny. Well done for being proud of CNC work, I hate it when people claim it's not a proper build if you use a machine - it's not like it does it all itself, there's intricate design work behind it, and then it can still go wrong if not run so meticulously. Also, that truss rod, what a thing of beauty. Great stuff, i particularly like the back cover and the harmonica storage.

Thanks my friend! CNC and CAD design is defenetly a valid way to express yourself... thanks for the kind words.

Very entertaining video and as I have said before, appreciate the programming skills required to make everything fit with such tight tolerances. Great work.

      Thank you so much!
Components for this kind of instrument where so difficult to find! And the companies how makes those dont sell those individualy….So I had to use cigar box bridge and pickup… string spacing works fine… and they are all over amazon…

@@favguitars Thank you so much for your answer! As you say, these components are hard to find. I´ll explore the cigar box way! 👍🙂
