I'm not much of a camper any more. But growing up camping with the family, the Boy Scouts and in the Corps has given me knowledge of 2 things. First I know enough to know I'm no expert. Second I know enough to recognize a rare, actual expert as opposed to the legions of TH-cam experts. I think this guy is the real deal.
I don't consider myself to be an expert but I appreciate the comment. I've still got a whole lot to learn. Happy trails my friend!
@@KuskBushcraft Every smart expert on any given subject knows how much he/she doesn't know. It's only idiots who think they know everything. Keep learning and teaching, buddy.
Does not seem like a big deal, but when you are caught in a storm, or out in sub zero weather and are trying to set up shelter as fast as possible. Anything that makes that job simpler and quicker is much appreciated! Really enjoying this series on trade craft!
just wanted to say, you've been a huge inspiration to me for years now and I'm glad you're still around.
Very informative my friend. I think tying knots is probably one of the most important things to know in the wild.
This is a great way of hanking line that many are unaware of- KISS- simple and effective-
This is just ace. So simple, but genius. Thanks for sharing!

I've been doing some research and testing on natural & DIY insect repellants lately. Once I come up with an end result that works effectively and gives me the results I desire I'll be sure to make a video sharing it.
Lovely video, good tip!
Very nice my friend 🤠
Very slick way, larger diameter ropes/cords I end up with same configuration but use a much larger loop. Thanks

Idk when the best time is so ill ask when is the best time for hunting season and any trap making/hunting vids coming on the alt channel?
I still have footage from trapping season I need to go through. It's been a very busy spring season for me. Hoping to get that footage sorted through soon then I'll be onto a few summer projects fixing things up at the cabin. Come the fall I'll be back to hunting and trapping again.

There's a TH-cam channel called Rainy Delights ASMR that's reposting your videos and has hundreds of thousands of subscribers
Yea it happens. Unfortunately I don't think there's anything that can be done.
In this mad world your videos are a source of calmness and inspiration.
Thank you for watching!
