    Muton was my favourite, he had a clear purple body and internal organs and some kind of rubber flame thing that went on his hand, i loved the smell of that new rubber, reminds me of xmas morning 1976 when i was 7, love these nostalgia videos

    I just love how GI Joe mutated so wildly in other countries. From Action Man's Space Rangers to New GI Joe becoming Henshin Cyborg or Brazil's Falcon & Condor.
    It's a fascinating toy evolution
    I would love one of these but I'd never be able to afford one 😅

    If you look on the front of the Denys Fisher Cyborg box. Cyborg is illustrated as a Shonen cyborg.

      Yes, but with the bigger adult Cyborg head on it :-)

    I love the Denys Fischer Cyborgs figure because of their combined features of both Henshin Cyborg and Shonen Cyborg. Would love to own one at some point.

    I never knew the Takara line had an 8 inch figure, albeit a son of the 12 inch Henshin Cyborg. I always wondered why Denys Fisher went to the trouble of reducing the size of the original 12 inch Cyborgs, now i know they didn't. I love it when i learn something new about the toys i have.

    I had the 8" versions of Cyborg and King Waldo except he was called Muton or Mutant on the package and he was in Purple clear plastic. I used to use them alonside my 8" Mego figures as an extra hero and villain. Always wanted to get loads of the bad guys outfits and extra of the bad guy figure so I could balk out my villains for the heroes to fight. Pocket money was always the restraining factor though. Love these figures they were great to play with.

    • @malcr2325
      @malcr2325 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@darrenwolboldtalk2 I think it may have been. I never actually saw them in the shops. Only on the back of the Mutant/Muton box. There was one who was a Fish headed monster that was trying to make all the Earth his underwater domain. According to the write up on the box. He may have had a lobster claw. I know the head looked very Dr Who monster like. But I cannot swear to it. It was about 40 years ago for me.

      @@malcr2325 Yes a long time ago for me too. I found one at school in the early 80,s as a kid sure had a lot of fun putting different arms and legs on

    • @malcr2325
      @malcr2325 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@darrenwolboldtalk2 They were great like the Micronauts/Microman. I only ever got one accessories pack for my Cyborg. It had the Liquidator (or something like that name) as a lower arm fixture. I saw one in the clip it had a pippet type rubber squeeze section in the middle for sucking up then firing water at opponents. The whole range were very thin on the ground at my local toy shops though.

      @@malcr2325 Yes something very engaging about the mix and match element of these toys also something other worldly about them, im sure the one at school was the one that had organs inside rather that robot bits, A thing of wounder as a kid

    As a huge fan of the Micronauts and The Henshin Cyborgs, I’ve never really seen too many of the actual outfits and costumes that were sold as apart of the accessory packs. I was wondering if you owned any and if so can you do a video on the costume accessories?

    A very cool figure! Thanks for the great review! The boxes for the vintage figures are always nicer than the cards with blisters in my opinion. I love the way the parts come off and can be exchanged. UFO...or is it a hover disk?

    So little add on information, rough time line, hasbro made G.I. JOE 12 inch line it's from this line several other lines were made, but it was when the cyborgs went to micro that it was hasbro turn to ask the favor to use the body type to make the first 3 3/4 inch line of G.I. JOE figures with a slight alterations to the body.

      If your going for Micronauts make sure it's the original line. The reboot line in the mid 2000's was poorly made and joints broke very easly.
