I really hope it releases soon lol. No Man's Sky is incredibly, but I personally don't enjoy scifi settings. I vastly prefer fantasy settings. So Light No Fire would easily become my utmost favorite game I've ever played if it turns out to be as good as current NMS. Easily my most anticipated game right now.
I got NMS on day one, against the sneers of others that said Sean was some kind of Olympic level liar. I am still actively playing it regularly 8 years later. The game was hard to slog through all these years, it was pretty broken for a lot of that time. But not only was my scepticism of the extreme claims of what they were going to do put to rest, but they then went on and blew my mind, over and over again. I don't think a lot of people realise exactly what HG has made here. AND, it was all free. LNF is an instant buy for me, I don't care what unbelievable wild boasts Seam makes, I have a reason to believe he can do it.
I'm really excited for this game. I like NMS, because it is good at bringing the fantasy element and it is the only survival game where I don't feel like 99% of the game is the survival elements. I like the relaxed nature of NMS. Lately i've been craving something like Isekai anime (don't think there will ever be a game like that with a character creator), so i'm looking forward to a new fantasy game. I usually create humans and make them look as close to me as possible, but i'm kind of thinking of creating a wolf person for LNF
So many get so upset when people call a wyvern a dragon yet when i finally looked it up i found that a wyvern is a type of dragon. Theres different types of dragons and a wyvern is one type. Which means it is a dragon.
Game looks like it will need another couple of years of development. Last thing we need is another open world survival game with building your base as the main focus.
I need this game! No, seriously, I NEED it!!!! And I crave more information about it too!! As soon as I know when it drops, I’m gonna get a few weeks off of work 😂
Wyvern-2 legs and 2 wings Dragon-4 legs and 2 wings Drake - 4 legs and no wings Wurm- no legs and no wings (or 2 forelegs and no hind legs) Amphiptere/Amphere- no legs and 2 wings Just to name a few types…also depends on origin of lore
I want to be able to play this in PSVR2 so much. I hope that their experience with running NMS so well in VR will allow them to make it it work for this too. 🤞
I’m so happy you brought up the VR element because I was 50/50 on mentioning it. However, I decided to leave it out. If they add VR to LNF, it will blow all VR experiences out of the water.
I feel like this hype machine is running already and no matter how good this game is people will complain. Its based of the same engine as NMS so it makes sense it plays with a similar feel and athestic game play. Im not bothered if it is a re skin as I get to explore a new vibrant worls, have new quests and stories build character and bases and fly a fricken dragon!
For the love of god, a wyvern is a TYPE of Dragon. So you can still call it a dragon but that type of dragon is called a wyvern. Its like saying a lion is not a big cat or that a bongo is not an antelope. 😂 Other types of dragon include: Wyrm, Amphiptere, western dragon, eastern dragon/lung dragon, Hydra, fae dragon and many more and fantasy will probably create more dragons in the future. ^^ Edit: You're good! :3 I just think its silly correcting others for calling wyverns dragons when in most fantasy they are in the dragon classification.
@@MishterDale nah saying its a wyvern is almost always in correct by our definition but also just an entitlement thing. if you think your definition of dragons and their classification is the correct way and everyone else is wrong i got some new for you lol. as for your defnition a wyvern cannot breath fire either and must have a barbed tail. but most dont when people are screaming about wyverns. the rule is whoever made the universe they are in, they are whatever the creator says they are.
@@davidmorcombe6779 That can be true* some say that wyverns are lesser dragons. :3 Others claim they are larger and more powerful. Really depends on the story telling. ^^
@@Melisande777 its 100% on the story. i do like to remind people that apprx 2/3 of the world dragons standard is the eastern dragon. so putting any western rules on them too is pretty entitled as well.
i imagine that LNF will run like gta online in the sense of that if you want to play with everyone on an open server you can, if you want to play on an open server and not be able to interact anyone physically you can, or if you want to play private you can. even if LNF gets close to a real-world scale, people will find and grief others just for the hell of it, so everyone being forced on a single world (even if its limited in total players at some point) could definitely turn some people away. and even with dedicated servers, that many people running around would be rough on some peoples systems (ffxiv or wow) with that being said, on servers where there are potentially 100+ players at one time, its going to be insane with what people will team up with and build. guild factions are going to be a major thing
Playing together would make this more interesting to me. There are some aspects I don't enjoy about most survival games, so if I can explore a little and then be the one taking care of the base for a group of people, I would be happiest then. Edit : -stares into Palia's soul about lack of swimming-
Whatever happens i feel confident that hello games will turn this new game into a godly game if launch is bad i am not worried they have done enough for me to have absolutely faith in them
Reas the description: one multiplayer earth Build a life together. Meet players from all over the world, build a life together, explore and survive together. Construct permanent buildings and communities or go out alone to discover the world for others.
I did read the description. I’m not saying it won’t happen, I’m saying it may not happen immediately. I get “one earth” but I’m basing everything off the NMS launch. NMS from the beginning to now has shaped itself into the game it said it would be.
That's so true, I bought day one and had no issues with it, yet the reviews were coming in within hours saying how bad it is. Then it snowballed and refunds were handed out to everyone. The multi player seemed to annoy most people, but I actually prefer the solo play of the game.
I'm hopeful but I'm kind of wary of the "Meeting other players that aren't your friends" aspect. That kind of thing is why I don't play MMOs anymore...
Che fine ha fatto Light No Fire? Hanno detto che sarebbe stato al Summer Game Fest per anticipazioni e novità sul gioco... Siamo a Dicembre, sono passati anche i TGA e niente di niete.. ci dobbiamo preoccupare?
I didn't like the NMS recipe, coming from Freelancer. But what was not my cuppa with NMS should be very good for a sword & board setting. I think probably this will be very interesting to explore on foot rather than the necessary location scouting from NMS. Another interesting part is that probably design mistakes in Light No Fire will be analysed and avoided by the Wayward Realms team.
I'm hoping there's cross platform, can't afford a pc and my pc couldn't play this on the lowest Setting even if I upscaled from the lowest resolution. That said I got a ps5 but would like to still be able to play with a friend who might have the game on pc. Aside from that I'm hoping there will be a lobby function, just seems the most stable for the player to manage their own servers. Lastly wishing light no fire avoids being graphically demanding, my pc can run witcher 3 on medium, it's because witcher 3 was designed to not require much vram, and to this day Witcher 3 still looks better than the highest graphical games.
Even if they do create an actual earth sized planet, too many people out there will fuck it up for everyone else. I mean you look at the glitch building community in nms and how they over load their allotted build parameters and even stretch their single plots out massive distances to create entire scale model cities and shit. HG will have to work overtime to keep people from abusing those kinds of glitches in a game with a singular world cuz at the end of the day no matter how big it is, it's going to have to be a curated design and people will gather in certain areas turning them into metropolis' and that will be experience ruining for a lot of people who either want to live there themselves or just see the area without all the ugly shit people construct around it.
My only concern is the amount content there will be to match the huge scale of the world they're creating, actually I'm lying I'm also concerned on combat just because generally survival sandboxy games don't have the best engaging combat and NMS strong suit was never combat, it's more like something there because it has to be and space combat doesn't translate well with grounded combat other than literal guns. The whole theme of NMS is being a traveler of worlds so combat not being a catch really at all and rely sold on exploration is fine but I doubt this will be the case for light no fire. I still believe exploration will be a big factor of light no fire but just won't work well if difference in focus is as glaring as NMS. But other then that everything else seems promising, I personally want to see more functionality with the ecosystem within itself in terms of interactions such as apex fighting another apex and then crows come eat what's left of the scraps then the player can kill them for feathers for arrows and then have a special crow with a slight visual tweak that can spot a player and give a caw spawning an apex nearby, this allow stuff like encounters with an apex that doesn't hunt in pacts now hunting you in a pact until you kill crow as it attacks you with pact every so often whilst spawning new mobs every so often as well or something like that.
To add to that, I want to see how they handle blueprints like NMS or learning modules for crafting. Traveling vendors selling them or maybe knowledge runes?
Easy They just say it's a living world...meaning they can insert new content in areas as content ...as long as they keep working on inserting new content , like when rift did weekly and monthly updates amd events
I can't imagine a single server being able to handle the amount of people they hope to have playing. Being able to sync servers though would be awesome so you can hook up with other players.
I gave up on looking forward for LNF. Sean Murray said to us he won’t say what the game will be unless the game is almost finished. He gave us a trailer and now again, just like NMS, radio silence.
