People with oily skin tend to be more prone to spots/acne, the brush is soft because you are not supposed to aggressively exfoliate your skin if you have acne as this makes it worse. People with oily skin produce more sebum which causes spots, the point of the soft bristles is to remove the extra sebum to prevent it from sitting in your pores causing spots. if you scrub hard at spots it releases the bacteria inside them which spreads around your face causing more to appear. You really should understand how this works if you are going to say that its a bad design without being qualified to do so.
I totally disagree. I've been using this product since Saturday and I think it's fab! My biggest problem was black heads and already I've noticed a huge improvement. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but personally I don't think it's gimmicky at all. I certainly will be purchasing this again.
Kim B sorry for a 2 year late comment but i just bought it and used it once and i have a problem with acne(spots),acne scars on the chins and a few blackheads do you maybe have sth to recommend me for a skincare routine and some spot treatment or something like that? :)

I tried this and it works wonders. Yes, the bristles are really soft so might not exfoliate really well but i wouldn't want something harsh and risk damaging my skin while exfoliating. It definitely lightens acne-scars and spots really fast. I got clear good results in few days. Loved it and will definitely buy it again.

This cleanser omg is life!!! Make my skin feel clean and so soft i use it with Luna mini2 brush

I found I got way better results with this if I used it in my shower as the steam obviously opens up your pores more . Not sure if that helps but I love this product and thats my favourite way of doing it :]
I have loads of them and after each use I put them in the wash so they are always fresh and clean.
It's an old video so I don't use it anymore (just moved on to other things) but I was using it every morning x

u know me from uk and i really dont think that everyone should exfoliate every day.exfoliate ur skin only once a week and that's at night .next day u will feel the amazing difference.it's batter to use exfoliating gel face wash every day and for good skin moisturizer is must.reply me what do u think

And how often one should exfoliate really does depends on your skin type and how your skin reacts to it.....Not every one has the same kind of skin and my skin defo needs to be exfoliated more than once a week.
@sushilprajapati this is just me take on the prouduct, i dont like it as the brush is 2 gentel for my skin, it does not clean my skin very well and i think thewash it 2 thin and not very nice 2 use.........a shame really as i normally love garnier and wated to love this.

It's not meant for dry skin, it's meant for oily skin, so that's why its making your skin dry! I would suggest you stop using it xx

i might prove u wrong cause our skin is made up of soft tissue .when u talk about hard brush they will make ur skin pore large and after sometime skin will become unhealthy,so garnier has given such a wonderful ex-foliating brush that u can clean skin everyday.while other kind of exfoliator we can use only twice a week

You shouldn't exfoliate more than 2 times a week I think

@@040.sanchez no you should definitely wash it with water to remove all the dead skin that it peeled off but I wouldnt really recommend a physical exfoliator a chemical exfoliator is the best theres videos online that u can watch about it

I bought this, use it 2 days and woke up with exteremly dry flakey sore skin .....
No as soon as i used it it ruined my skin, what it doesn't tell you is you need to moisturize with e45 or something because it's ''intense'' and btw on the back it says ''revolutionizes your DAILY cleansing routine.'' You look about 12 irl shows how much you know beauty star lol
Josh L ALL skin care regimens should include 3 daily steps (4 for women): cleanse, tone, moisturize (+ foundation). Deep cleansing or a mask should be used 2-3 times a week, not every day. Good rule of thumb - use same company for all three steps or you get chem warfare.
It has salicylic so you really have to moisturize. Even with other products after wash.. You should use moisturizer. Cleanser/ wash is different from moisturizer

Good video but the whole point of it is not using your hands to get all that into your skin and then you go and use your hands afterwards? no offence just a bit against the point.

i hate using flanels on my face..u get dead skin cells accumulating..bacteria too..so yur basiclly puting dirt on your face =.= even if u wash it. still seems wierd. just splash water on yur face. easy peesy and more hygienic
