Breakfast is a very important meal and I'd suggest you to have it. You can still go intermittent fasting with breakfast by having your dinner around 6pm to 7pm. And the breakfast at 9 am.

In US properties are relatively cheaper as compared to Canada. Plus you can write off the mortgage interest while in Canada primary home interest cannot be written off. That makes a huge difference in affordability.

Don’t have to explain that the interest cost can double or triple the cost of the loan by the time you pay off the mortgage in Canada.
