He called out stipe before Tom even faced anyone in the top 5. Tom was nobody when Jon made the callout. Get over it.

Jones hasn't beat anyone at heavyweight. He will retire as the "champ" because of Dana's politics allow it, not because he beat a champion.

My question is how? Aspinall’s boxing is on point he trains kickboxing with Rico Verhoeven, has been grappling since he was a child and is a nightmare to hold down. I say Jon Jones gets sparked out cold. He got outboxed by Gustafson, beat in many people’s eyes by Reyes and most of the fighters he’s beaten were big middleweights. Aspinall a different animal.
Tom has terrible wrestling. He can’t stop a takedown, and once he’s down he can’t get up. That’s how. He hasn’t been tested because no one actually tried to wrestle him. Blaydes could have, but he chose to strike. Jon is an entirely different animal than these other guys.

My opinion is more in Tom's favour main reason he's a natural heavy weight who moves about like he's a light weight which is so impressiver and his hand are really good and his ground game is top of the chain he's made short work of all of his opponents in the UFC plus he's a British man which im am to i really think. John doesn't want to fight him as Stipe being injured and could of easily of fought Tom and then Stipe afterwards if he won which i don't think he would and he would of made more money fighting Tom so i hope it does happen as its the number 1 fight for the H.W division

Tom is really in a different level. He cannot be compared to any opponents that Jon faced before. Jon knows this very well. If Jon has a high chance to beat Tom, he will take the fight. Few months ago, Jon was sharing his thoughts to fight Alex as he has more chance to beat Alex through wrestling. However, After Dana rejecting Alex going to heavy weight, Jon stopped talking about future fights than Stipe as the only one to face is Tom. Jon knows very well that he cannot beat Tom, so better for him to retire. Tom is right that " he will retire Jon without even fighting him". Tom a very rounded MMA fighter. Jon is really in a very bad position, and this will remain a stain in his legacy if he leaves before fighting Tom.

Before Bisping came along Frank Mir was my favourite fighter of all time. However I have to disagree , John jones has scraped his last 3 LH fights via decision. He has then fought 1 guy Cyrl Gane has 0 wrestling or defence. Watch the Jones fight its short. He literally scored a few kicks and threw about 5 windmill telegraphed slow ass shots. Then Cryl Gane then through the wort overheand ever and spins turning his back into jones chest literally gifting him a take down. The fight was Terrible. Jones is slow at heavyweight and Aspinall will ruin him

There seems to be a similar pattern with Jon Jones fans.
They make a claim saying that “Jones would destroy Aspinall” you asked them why and they say “he’s a BMF” or “he’s undefeated”.
No mention of tactics or technique.
Jones has always struggled against boxers with great takedown defence. Not only has Aspinal got great takedown defence and knockout power, he also has very good wrestling and jujitsu. He’s also much taller and bigger than Jones, which is something Jones used to his advantage at light heavyweight

I totally disagree with this fellow. Jones beats Aspinall, after all this stuff that is going on, he elevates himself from the GOAT, to a GOD in MMA. Jon arguably lost to Reyes, Struggled with Santos (former MW) in a split dec who blew out both knees, beat Anthony Smith (former MW) in a lackluster decision where Jon hit him with a crazy hard illegal knee. Toms a legit HW, interim champ, beating everyone in front of him and is dangerous everywhere. But yeah the REAL fight is 4 year layoff after a KO loss Stipe...Greatness

Frank Mir is the only person speaking facts. Jones certainly does have a 90% chance of winning. Tom has very weak wrestling. He won’t be so free with his striking when he’s worried about the takedown. He will give Jon some room, and Jon will pick him apart until he does get that takedown. After he gets it, Tom is getting choked to death.
He was so worried about Blaydes' wrestling that he KO'd him in a minute.

Tom won’t be able to just explode forward with the 1-2 combo like he does to everyone else. Jon will get right under that 1-2 combo same way he did to Gane. No matter how fast your hands are, he knows exactly what to do. Gane lunged forward like Tom and threw a very fast punch and Jon choked him to death. All it takes is one slip up by Tom, and he will be tapping before you know it.

Tom won’t be able to use his boxing against guys like Gane or Jones when they’re smashing him with those kicks. We have yet to see Tom face Gane.. I think that will be a huge test for him. He’s not gonna get away with throwing his 1-2 combo to get a quick KO against a guy like Gane.

Some of u know nothing about real MMA, Tommy boy's only chance at beating Jon is by a lucky KO, and Jon is exceptionally skilled at avoiding and minimizing big shots. Jon would outclass him everywhere the fight goes...wrestling, grappling, etc...and definitely better cardio and fighting IQ.. I've been hearing this nonsense Jon's whole career. It's always "wait until he fights this guy." Jon wins, then it's "no, that guy is trash, wait until he fights this guy." This goes on and on and on and on...when he beat Tommy boy, then it will be, no wait until he fights this other guy, and if he retires, then he's scared. At this rate, he will never be able to retire because there's always someone else you nut jobs will say he should fight or he's scared 🙄
