I watched anime before that, but like dragon ball and pokemon and Doraemon, never rlly recognized them as anime and they appeared the same as cartoons to me. But when I realized they were all animes I started to watch a lot of animes. Isekais were the first genres I watched and this was one of my first anime, the Ed is so nostalgic because of that and this anime reminds me of the good old days when I first started to watch anime. After anime became so popular new animes have rlly been scarce, or at least I did not feel the same level of enjoyment as I did when I first watched animes for about a year. I guess good things end at some point including my enjoyment for anime during those days.
