India is 6 times population of Pakistan
India IT exports $200 billion
Pakistan IT exports $2billion
Population is 6 times but IT exports is 100 times
China's electronics exports :- $965 Billion
Indian Electronics exports :- $24B
India's population is more than China but electronics exports are not even 1/50th of China
@@mayurkanth6987 correct india is atleast 15 years behind china now
& historically china is manufacturing export led economy and indis is service led economy
But china's electronic exports are declining
While indias electronics exports are increasing drastically
Specially mobile exports
I hope you are aware about PLI scheme
Iphones are moving manufacturing from china to india
Indias mobile phone exports has increased 7 folds in last 5 years
And in 2014 india just had 2 mobile manufacturing units
So we are catching up fast Specially mobile exports
And

@@mayurkanth6987exactly, u are right. But next five years Chinese figure will decrease and same time Indian figure grow exponentially. Look recent investment in India on Electronic manufacturing, look the restricts and India Govt how forcing leading manufactures to make within India Electronic goods. That's good sign for electronic manufacturing. Last month 2024 January , one month electronic export is $22.5 billions. Tamilnadu is in leading last month in exports. Next two years we will cross per year $200 billion electronic exports, once Semiconductor chips manufacture comes into Indian market then with five years $350-400 billion electronics equipment exports takes places.
Just one month electronic export reached 22.5 blion dollars in January.
So one of the largest IT companies in Pakistan employs 2,000 workers. TCS in India employs 3,60,000 people. Their on-campus training center has 80,000 employees.
TCS have 2000 people in single floor
Finally, someone is trying to rebuild the nation through this type of topic and podcast. Thank you so much Raftar

Why not pakistan is focusing on agriculture, u guys have fertile soil right.
U nailed it
All the corrupts own those fertile lands.
For agriculture land is not the only criteria
Electricity is so expensive
How will tubewells and other farm equipments function with such high Electricity fuel rates?
Fertile land toh hai paaaar haall kaam nahi karta.
Pakstudy se bahir niklo
India's it exports in India is 193 billion dollars, and software export is 320 billion dollars.
Great
Excellent podcast.
Being a software engineer myself, Pakistan’s intellectual and professional capacity is not at par with modern world to excel.
We have pockets of excellence but as a nation of 240 million we are at a poor level of education in general.
Kindly add timestamps on your podcast.
No one has 1+ hour podcast listening time
Pakistan should focus on their core strengths. They are extremely competent in various tasks. In fact they can create those industries in every home. For last 75 years they have done those tasks with world leading expertise. All of you know which expertise I am talking about. This expertise has now become identity of Pakistan. Such a strong recognition. They should build on that reputation. No one can out compete them in those high quality tasks .
That is the strength of Pakistan.
The CEO of Sybrid is advocating for individuals to choose full-time employment over freelancing, despite offering a relatively modest salary of 70,000 per month for front-end developers. This raises a pertinent question: why would individuals opt for this employment opportunity when freelancing offers the potential to earn upwards of 1500-2000 USD per month, with significantly less workload and greater flexibility? Moreover, considering long-term prospects, a full-time employee with 10 years of experience might anticipate earning around 300,000-400,000 annually, whereas a seasoned freelancer could conceivably command 7000-10000 USD per month. Additionally, uncertainties surrounding future inflation rates further complicate the CEO's argument in favor of traditional employment. It appears that the purported benefits of employment primarily favor individuals in positions of authority, rather than the broader workforce. Therefore, the CEO's rationale appears to be fundamentally flawed.
nope , he's right
your way , you'd never build up Product based companies that provide jobs to lakhs of people , your crop of tech savvy engg's won't grow (The Infra and HR is the key to sector's success) - you'll remain just a fish in the pond and mind you the pond is drying up fairly fast with the advent of AI
Gone are the good days of freelancing based personal growth
Great podcast! Got a pretty good insight about Pak tech sector and was shocked that our issues are mostly psychological based. Time stamps would have been better for those who can't listen to an hour long podcast.
I didn't expect such type of conversation on a Pakistani social media. Excellent

Great
As an indian watching this , impressed with athar and his understanding of tech to change lives ... modi realized that in 2014 and then we are now racing to be the biggest economy in probably 2 decades ...
Raftar One of the best TH-cam channel in Pakistan ❤
We should grow collective....must
Sir simple si baat hai. Agar software companies handsome initial salary offer karein gi to freelancers companies ko join karein gey.
Companies almost 250USD offer krti hain. Free lancer initially 1000USD earn kr leta hai. Wo kesey company ka employee bn skta hai?
He said this is short term gain that the freelancers are getting. Their growth will be less after 10 years as compared to a guy working in a company where you can learn more with more people around you.
@@Raja-pr1ex
How to educate these ppl to join companies? Simple way is to give them attractive salary packages.
Very well said. At day end, its about how much one earn. Atleast for current economic and inflation situation of Pakistan.
Very Nice
I would request to host and guest both please launch new hiring in that big IT organizations to provide jobs and confidence to these new kids first. 2nd give them may be low offers with internal free learnings and trainings to improve their knowledge and skills with hands on job experience that will make a real difference
There are two ways of having conversation. Raise the issues, and let the guest discuss them. The other is to have a dialogue. In a situation where you want to benefit from someone’s professional expertise in a specialized field, the former is better. In any case, allow the guest enough time to say what he has to say.
In my company, we posted jobs for Junior Front-End Dev, around 150+ applicants I rejected them all, none of them had the skills they should have as beginners.
Didn't know anything about both these guys but appreciated the blunt style of the person in blue shirt and the fluency/clarity of the other person. Damn, this was better than I expected. Keep going. You've got yourself a tech subscriber today!

This is a funny question, just a reminder X is shut down and you are talking IT
Only Digitization can change the positive coarse of Pakistan.
Branding jobs are a part of advertising agencies not the IT industry. We sell logos starting from a minimum of 50,000 to 1 million, depending on a scope of work, and very few educated graphic designs can meet the client's needs.
Thanks to raftar for such worth watching podcasts for everyone
Fee of Bachelor of Science Degree is costing PKR 20-Lakhs = and then to Purdue University USA costing USD 50K a year ===> this much of money spend onto Mr Ather Imran Nawaz - he is privileged and fortunate. A normal family cannot send his child to GIK......
if you have talent, and work hard you can get fully paid scholarships. our students don't wana work hard unfortunately
Raftar is blessing
It looked more like a roasting video 😂😂
kindly, divide the podcast in different segment so it become easy to listen to the specific segments
So if you ask for well trained and experienced people are you paying them at that level NO, so why don’t you hire them may be on low package and trained them internally to make a best asset
he seems similar to umar saif. is he his relative?
smart guy... very nice
Tech woh chex hai i believe jis nay establishment ku expose kar dia Pakistan ki after 75 years.. Incredible.
Raftar never disappoints.. Keep it up.. 👍
Even Allah can not save Pakistan, because if you want to save Pakistan, you need to speak truth, but your ईमान don't let you speak truth।
reduce the FEE of private Universities make it equivalent to the earnings of normal Pakistani then you can produce genius...
I don’t agree at this point that new talent or graduates are not capable all the multinational organizations take these people as intern or let them join they give internal trainings to develop their skills
How can Tech save the country. When PTA turns off cell services and TH-cam and X is turned off at the whims of the Government when they feel threatened.
But this also happened in India this happens across the world.
This only happened in some parts and only for a time period. Even in Kashmir internet is blocked in some areas when there was insurgency. Toh thoda research dhang se Karo pakiyo
@@pipipupu5104 There is no comparison between India and Pakistan. India and Bangladesh has left Pakistan way behind.
We need more on this topic. And we want this to be realized by our so called Govt as well. And then take serious actions on serious notes.
Hahahha but don’t you know who really “governed” if you want it to be called govern, in past 7 decades?
Please formake a PODCASt on Pskistan ENDINEERING sector and tell about the engineering in pakistan and future in engineering in pakistan for the new coming students in engineering

Raftar is blessing
Get your basics correct
Food security needs to be first priority
Talking about tech with the electricity sector being a mess that it is
And of course the lack of even basics like PayPal
And honestly these don't require much time , these can easily be sorted in less than 5 years
Tech sector can't save Pakistan because the mentality of the nation and government. The nation mentality is that I should be having all the profit and fortune and no one else should be progressing. And government mentality is that it will increase educated class and as a result people will have power to challenge the status quo, so no reforms in PTA and no facility to tech sector should be given. These two reasons will not let Pakistan IT sector to explode and some other country, and most probably it will be either Bangladesh or Ethiopia will take the share which Pakistan had the opportunity to take.
Love you sir ❤❤❤ .
Universities need to start delivering skilled graduates. Govt needs to make policies regarding IT supports. Support companies to go for ISO certifications or any other standards that are accepted world wide. Built trust with global players.

Indias Software IT exports is 200 billion plus
there can never be any sea change there till the power centre is the establishment and the public is fed on religion
AoA if there is no justice and rule of the law, it is risky to work in a partnership

Bhai tu podcasts mat host kiya kar. Guest ko bolne nai deta bar bar interrupt karta hai, faida aesy Ponkay podcast ka? 😂
My fav channel these days. Kuddos to whole Raftar team!
Pakistan pace slow but we are moving in a direction by people himself
India has IIT and management institutions which are Chang the nation .in Pakistan we have Sindh University
With help of artificial intelligence
Please make a program on 27 December when Benazir assassinated. And what happened in Karachi in result. It was black day of Karachi
Sir internet band, signal band, social media band or ham plan kar rahay Tech sector kay potential unlock karnay ka. Why would somebody spend money and open an office in Pakistan in such conditions? I wonder how Cream and other ride services provided are surviving in Pakistan. We need stability in this country and law if we want to foster progress in this country not just in IT but in any sector. Without stability and policy implementation, nothing can happen.
Also make a program on 15 May when CJ come karachi.
The main problem is the divide and rule policy from 75years which is very sad!
Can tech throw the establisment out of power? I dont think so.
Brother plz don't take my words wrong infact you're right , but I can't understand one thing why you're doing animation instead of agriculture.
Ather Imran Nawaz ==> studied from Purdue University and BS Fee per year is costing USD 50K --- so why dont Lakson Group open FREE EDUCATION University too. medium class family cannot earn equivalent to USD 50K yearly how would they send their kids to study at this huge amount.
Raftar team please add timestamp chapters

plz dont compare to india. even uganda is better then us
I don’t agree with degrees if 📜 degree is that much important then why all organizations asks experiences in job descriptions??? Why??? Why not you let them join give them a way to earn and able to say that I have a job now later you can appreciate them to learn more do more courses and improve your caliber and improve your earnings
We should grow collective but can't because of belief.......
Pakistani Netflix "raftar"
Can tech save itself from Pakistan as all other things?!
It could have been more structured
Mr Farhan Mallick Saheb ==> why dont you speaks onto the root causes ====>>
Talking of making a tall building without any foundations?. It is nothing but pipe dream.

Hello Sukkur IBAians
U did not even discuss the basic reasons for this whole economic downfall. Rule of law, social justice, political stability, and do your own job instead of installing hidden cameras in judges and politicians bedrooms. U can't change the system if you can't follow the fundamental principles of life.
Interviewer keeps interrupting, he needs to learn that his questions are important, not his endorsement or additional commentary.
Pakistan:how to earn dollors by tech.
Pakistan: Ban social media
