John Wardley said the new indoor attraction coming to Alton’s towers uses ground breaking technology so would not be surprised if we see something like this
Alton towers are working on a new indoor attraction. John Wardley has said that the future of roller coaster technology is being developed here "alton towers". A 75x50m building is big enough for this imo
Phantasialand had noise issues, so replacing Nighthawk/Crazy Bats (and their Movie dark ride with a multidemensional coaster would make sense). This ride could be 100% in a box like Gringots or just a cool element facing the park like the turntable on Maelstrom before it was covered over for Frozen
Its that section that has issues apparently where there show building is behind colorado adventure station will become a new coaster area and crazy bats will become the new show area
@@joecandish3923 There's already a theater behind Colorado Adventure. Unless that building is not stable or something, they should try and spread out crowds more anyway possible. It really feels like there should be a land or show building at the back of Berlin. Doing cool boxes at the back of people's houses is the best they can do
Ooh there’s an indoor coaster coming to Alton towers too, John wardley has stated that SW9 is a seriously impressive project, maybe we could be seeing a compact and highly immersive MDC
I’ve got a very good feeling that Alton Towers is opening an Intamin Multidimensional coaster in spring 2024. They’ve submitted plans for a giant enclosed building so will likely be going the dark ride route. Towers have worked with Intamin before to bring Th13teen which was the first Intamin horizontal drop track model. The park LOVES world first/record breaking coasters so certainly won’t be a surprise. Plus John Wardley has said that the new coaster coming to towers uses some ground breaking technology and that he’s super excited for it. This is coming from the guy who has designed some of the best coasters in the world.
Couple things: 1. In most of intamins sales brochures, they use the slightly less thrilling family friendly layouts as examples usually, here they’re saying there’s the possibility for more than that. The basic prefab model does around 40mph top speed, and has all that cool stuff, plus can do inversions. That’s good for more than just improving dark rides, that’s good for rides like big thunder mountain at Disneyland, moderate thrill family friendly coasters. 2. Intamin always engineers to request, and in most of their promotional documentation, including the one for this coaster on their website they say “can be bigger, taller, faster, upon request”. I’m sure park owners can request for intamin to make their model a bit faster, taller, or more insane than the next guy, there’s probably a fair chance that you will eventually see elements, and even trackwork from other intamin products having custom fixtures made to produce an “ultra” or “mega” variant of this same model, something that intamin does from time to time 3. These coaster cars, some of them spin and some of them don’t, some of them invert and some of them don’t. The ones that spin have the option of running a motion platform (like a motion simulator) or even a powered or forced spin. They’re not all the same cars, and the free spinning is fully optional, forced spinning and motion platforms would be seemingly meant for dark rides, but could be used to give the ride vehicles the effect that they were drifting through a corner (similar to the way a car does), this might be useful if you wanted to make a thrilling coaster themed on the fast and the furious, or something.
Hmm you predicted Universal's idea with a Fast and Furious drifting coaster. MDC Spinning cars are also helpful for directing screams away from the neighboring communities and the soundstages of USH.
@@IntaminFanGRLPowerCoasters Actually it’s not universals idea, it’s Intamins. They put all of that information in the flyer for the multidimensional coaster, if you did any reading on intamins website you’d know that anyone can order their coaster with or without motion plantforms or forced spinning. I mean seriously how hard is it to read?
@@IntaminFanGRLPowerCoasters actually the motion platforms come from dynamic attractions, as one of their custom ride solutions. Intamin just does rotation, but they can also use the dynamic attractions motion platform on the trains, just like universal will be doing
The thing is: This will not be as intense as the standard Blitz coasters can be. The bulky trains and rotating motion limit the intensity of the ride track itself. I think that this is a very important thing when talking about the perfect coaster concept. That being said: I can't wait for the multi Dimension coaster! This is everything the SFX coaster does but much closer to reality!
Rotating tilt track exists to some degree on Phantasialand's Winja's Fear/Force. Though you could argue that it's just a diagonal angle from rider POV. I'm quite positive that Intamin took some inspiration from there after they visited the park while working on Taron
I love Intamin. Despite the flaws, they are the best manufacturer because they are so smooth, intense and innovative. It's like their larger rides are built for the enthusiasts
Best Intamin model? Sure. But I wouldn't trust Intamin to build it. It'll inevitably be a maintenance nightmare with constant downtime. Still, I love the concept. I just wish Intamin would put some of their R&D work into making sure things work properly.
Alton Towers definetly could do with something like this but the walibi parks and Seaworld Abu Dubai could also get something likes this as well. The one that definitely won't is energylandia they have said they will not work with Intamin again
I need more epic universe content!!! You’d think more people would be talking about it especially considering it could be getting an xtreme spinner from Mack
I already thought their LSM Launch/Blitz model was the perfect coaster model; this just seems like that except it has every known gimmick under the sun too. This one has some of the wildest potential out of any coaster out there, and I agree with the points made in your video
i think that U.S. wise, universal Orlando is gonna be the first place to get an extremely good or the best version of this because they've made it very clear that they can make world class roller coasters with world class theming. this would be like a combination of velocicoaster and Hagrid's motorbike
You know the wolf man roller coaster at epic universe, the rumoured Mack extreme spinner, could turn out to be an intamin multi dimension coaster, something like that would be perfect with a universal monsters theme
They can't afford it and it would not really fit with what the current director wants but the Efteling would make it great in turns of theming and they really can use a good coaster.
If I were you, I'd temper you expectations with a degree of caution, and cynicism. Yes, Intamin is saying that it'll be capable of practically anything, BUT, and that's a very big but there, you also have to look at previous products that have promised the same, and I'm not just talking about Rollercoaster models. whether it be firearms, tanks, aircraft, computers or cars, any system that is trying to be everything, do everything, has a track record of mostly not doing very well at all. the M14 Rifle, the M70, heck, I don't have to tell you about the f111 and F-35. the F-35 was meant to be one aircraft for all 3 branches, and they've had to change the airframe for all 3 branches of the US military fielding it ( Navy, Marines, and Air Force ) that they're basically 3 different aircraft now. combined with increased complexity, cost, and worst of all, increased moving parts, and the Multi-dimensional coaster's got all the makings of a mechanical Nightmare. it very well could be the very next X2.
Exactly! In fact we have pretty much the perfect example that fits your argument: The dynamic attractions SFX coaster. Still not open after almost 10 years
Epic universe does look very impressive with its highly themed lands but then if you add the rides up including the couple in the hub it's only 12/13 attractions in a park the same size as magic Kingdom wait times going to be horrific . They supposedly trying to compete with magic Kingdom demographic, young children going to fed up queing all day.I know they have the expansion pads for the future but you would think they could easily open with one extra attraction in each of the lands and another 2/3 in the hub to start with about 20 attractions.
John Wardley said the new indoor attraction coming to Alton’s towers uses ground breaking technology so would not be surprised if we see something like this
It’s confirmed Port Aventura will have the first new Multidimensional Coaster for next year. Now is under construction
Fast and Furious Hollywood Drift is like 99% happening imo and it's gonna be a Muliti-dimension coaster like this
My first thought was drifting, that or something related to dogfights or spaceships dogfighting.
yes
that's not a multi dimension coaster, that's an intmain controlled spinning coaster (they're two different models)
One of these IS coming to Alton Tower in the UK.
Alton towers are working on a new indoor attraction. John Wardley has said that the future of roller coaster technology is being developed here "alton towers". A 75x50m building is big enough for this imo
I feel like a properly themed Multidimensional coaster would honestly be the best ride in the world, even if it's not very intense

Would get beat to the first multi dimension by port aventura's opening but i'm sure that wont feature every element

would love to see this be a replacement for Phantasialands old Crazy Bats, apparently Portaventura gets the first one, even indoors

Disney does work with Intamin, but they are BFFs with Vekoma
Crazy to think Intamin did something Giovanola couldn't do (in terms of a rotating tilt track)
Alton towers has an indoor coaster coming. Rather large building, too. Possibly?
Rotating tilt track exists to some degree on Phantasialand's Winja's Fear/Force. Though you could argue that it's just a diagonal angle from rider POV. I'm quite positive that Intamin took some inspiration from there after they visited the park while working on Taron

You should also consider the earlier versions that featured just the drop track
I actually designed a coaster of this type for phantasialand it would go into the Berlin section and would be themed to a concert so with synced music
I could see this being the indoor coaster coming to Alton Towers
I need more epic universe content!!! You’d think more people would be talking about it especially considering it could be getting an xtreme spinner from Mack
Phantasialand or universial will without a doubt be the first to get one of these
edit: I was very wrong
i hope phantasialand
*Cue Taron Theme*
Yeah I can definately see crazy bats getting replaced by this
Port Aventura
So basically, this is a love child between Gringotts, Hagrid and Cosmic Rewind.
Hopefully Universal Orlando does this with their Fast & Furious Dark Ride like Hollywood because I absolutely hate the dark ride
Europa won't get anything from Intamin because they're owned by Int's biggest rival Mack Rides lol
this is just gringotts but bigger
I already thought their LSM Launch/Blitz model was the perfect coaster model; this just seems like that except it has every known gimmick under the sun too. This one has some of the wildest potential out of any coaster out there, and I agree with the points made in your video
This would be a huge fit for Efteling!
I think now that we have more info that the new intamin coming to Universal Hollywood will be this model
PortAventura is currently building one of these for 2023
Now that I think about it, primordial could actually be this model. Probably not, but it would be cool.
Intamin says that they can make anything and that is in certain way true. If you don't mind the downtime.

Uncharted in Port Aventura is using this for an indoor coaster
Don’t roller coasters with spinny cars already exist?
Thats something else
You know the wolf man roller coaster at epic universe, the rumoured Mack extreme spinner, could turn out to be an intamin multi dimension coaster, something like that would be perfect with a universal monsters theme
Its a mack spinner, not an intamin multi dimension
That looks amazing 🤩
This is basically the dynamic attractions fs coaster but made by a reputable and reliable company, this will be a huge hit
love your video's man, keep it going
My first reaction to the thumbnail was "that's literally a gerslauer" lol
Intamin took a Mack extreme spinner to a whole new level
Mack extreme spinner +
I can almost see Disney getting one of these. Just not in the US. I can see them getting one in Paris or one of the Asian parks like Disney Sea
Alton Towers Resort has a multi dimension in the form of Th13teen
phantasialand has no space to build such a project and this coaster was already anouched for efteling wich is only 2 hours away (but got canceled)
They can't afford it and it would not really fit with what the current director wants but the Efteling would make it great in turns of theming and they really can use a good coaster.
would be nice if efteling would make one

And plus, they'll say it can do anything, just to boost sells of the rides. They'll obivously stretch the truth to a certain extent.
there's only one escape from gringotts and in its in Florida. no clones
Intamin is really making roller coasters from thrillville off the rails
This is just a Blitz/multi-launch with extra steps
I don’t think there’s another gringotts out there though
I could see a company like Disney loving this for there parks
You said it can do anything/ everything Can it go 200 MPH????
You’d have to have a very long launch lol
So it can go 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000mph?
I'm kidding
Escape from gringos is only in orlando
I gone one of these os alto towers project horizon
Port avotura is building a new coaster which is as good as confirmed to be the first of this type
source?
Intamin's best ride model would be the one that doesn't hurt or kill people every year. Here's a short list of them now:
It's coming to Port Aventura guy :)
La próxima atraccion de PortAventura
Sfx coaster 2.0
alton towers already has one
This looks like the same model as gringots

Love intamin but hate spinning coasters so a No from me
"Only in Intamin"
To bad some of these parks don't need another launch coaster...
Nahhh! Looks fun but give me a Giga/Mega over this any day.
Eh
