One thing to note about farming the pseudodragon's venom is that, as described in the Monster Manual, pseudodragons will leave abusive or manipulative masters without notice!
no matter what i am searching, feats, spells or now familiars i always end on this channel and am happy afterwards. Why why why do you not have 6 digit subscribers?
@@ChancesSpellbook will do :D every time we are unsure about a feat or spell or similar in one of our games we just quickly watch your video on it haha
I don't see a DM in a long campaign allowing you to milk your familiar for venom since that basically gives you endless gold. They'd probably limit it to like one pint per week or something.
I think it would require a creative solution for sure! I'd probably say that there weren't any buyers, or that the local criminals already had a source and the merchant would be selling at a very cheap price.
I would compare it to snake venom...limited quantity, unable to use ability for a time after milking, specialized market. Also, the pseudodragon may not like it and may choose to leave you permanently.
@@MrUmakemelaff the latter would only apply to a true pseudodragon though, as a "find familiar" pseudodragon isnt its own creature and can't choose to leave you
@@ChancesSpellbook Specifically which one though? Cause the base one I only see that you get find familiar, can choose from these 4 extra familiar forms, and that you can cast touch spells through your familiar.
"not for kids" the joke is on you my friend, my warlock is 11
Haha looks like COPPA is going to come for me after all!
@@ChancesSpellbook yh and I'm 13

It is a spirit, not an actual pseudodragon
Milking a pseudo dragon is definately an odd image.

Thank you sooo much, I really appreciate it! All I can say is I really appreciate it when people share the videos.

@@ShesEmber True. So perhaps not being a "real" one, its venom may not be the real deal either.
What is the "Telepatrhic Bond" you have under senses? I can't find anything about this in any of the material.
It comes from the Pact of the Chain features! They also have limited Telepathy on their stats!

@@Konaburd it's just a pseudodragon feature
Good thing an eldrich invocation for tge propose of speaking limitation if i talk through it
3:07 unfortunately that only applies to real pseudodragons, not familiars
I thought pesidodragons share magic resistance?
Does companion hp go up per level?
Sadly not!
@@ChancesSpellbookdam
sorry is this usable by wizard class or just warlock want to just confirm
By RAW yup!
Only pact of the tome warlock
Rule of thumb: Ask your DM.
Portable hole warforged with a pseudo dragon now your a pseudodragon
I don't get it but I'm not sure I understand the item
