- Just started quilling 2 years ago and it has been an on and off habit. I started from 5mm, 3mm until I feel inlove with 1mm😅😊😍 using 1mm I have tried quilling sunflowers, roses and etc. And here's my first ever video tutorial of quilling roses. Never mind the ugly hands of mine😅 its a sign of being a full time hands on Mom of 4 here in a far away Land😅. I hope you will get atleast simple and small ideas on to quill one of the most beautiful flowers in the world...🌹🥀😉😊

😊 ☺️ LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT ! Thank you so much for this awesome video. I just had a quick question….On step 3. Why mix alcohol with the glue? Is it to make the glue less thick and allow the circle to become more pliable when shaping them with your quilling tool or…….? The glue you use is SUPER important and it’s the first time I’ve heard someone mix it. If you could please advise I’d really appreciate it. 😘🥰
Hi you're correct, i find it easier to shape the paper and when you shape and rub the surface, it gives shinny effect also..but you have to be careful and make sure that its almost dry when you shape the paper, for a cleaner and shinnier result.

How long are the strips? Different companies send strips in different lengths. Your help is appreciated. Thank you
just glue them together in a long row til it will be the size circle you want.
You jat want to add the diameter of the circles ir the length of the straps to help people learn how to make these thank you for the video

I'm in love with what beautiful work can be done in 1 mm but I cannot get them/find them. I've asked one quilling company and they would do it for crazy money. Perhaps you'd be willing to share where you get the 1 mm strips. Your rose is just beautiful and it would not be nearly as classy with the 3 mm strips that I work with. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Mam Heide. Thanks for the compliments. You're correct, 3mm neither 2mm don't work nice with Roses. Its only 1mm strips. I only cut mine using cutter manually. I read and heard that cricut maker do 1mm also, but my Goodness, it's very pricey😊 I would suggest you try cutting 1mm. You can try atleast 3 layer only...it will test your patience but please dont give up..I've been into it also before I come up with this. I know you can Ma'am🤗😉 and please update me if you did it well😉
@@QuillingbyEns Thanks so much for getting back to me. And, of course, your reply to my question about the 1 mm strips. Well, I was afraid that's what you might say -- to cut my own. Lots and lots of work and I'm trying to go the easier way by buying the strips. I do not have the Cricut either and it is way over what I want to spend. So I'll probably get myself into the mindset of cutting my own. Trouble is that I'd like to use the finer strips for most of my flowers because they are so much nicer. Just one rose will take a fair amount of cutting but I'll try it. Another question though. Is there a particular paper that you prefer?
