Denise Matthews was one of my closest friends. We talked argues and made friends again since 1993. I loved her as a friend. The interview was just having fun for all of us.
Denise Matthews is a witness of how God can turn your situation around at a moment's notice, how your trial produces a powerful testimony of faith and belief, and how if we'd only believe in God and trust Him with not just our lives, but our souls and our destiny, His favor would literally pour down on us. Someone commented that every other word out of her mouth was "Jesus" this and "God" that...Isn't that the point!? Matter of fact, that's EXACTLY what we, as proclaimed Christians should sound like. That is the characteristic of a true saint who is Sold Out For Christ for Real! Speaking the truth about God's grace, His Mercy, His loving-kindness, and His everlasting Glory is the only thing that He Approves us being obsessed with! Not materials, or temporary things, because none of that will save us in the time of famine, or have any long-term significance. The bible says in Psalms 31:7-8, "I will be glad and rejoice in your love, for you saw my affliction and knew the anguish of my soul. You have not handed me over to the enemy, but set my feet in a spacious place." And in 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth." Her acts of evangelism are securing her a spot in the Kingdom for doing His Will and spreading the gospel, and the fact that people ridicule and speak hate against her, is proof that she's in Order with His wishes. We all need to get our minds, hearts, and souls fixed on God. Jesus is coming soon. And when He does, He should find Will-doers, not persecutors.

Who was being insensitive? No one on The Midnight Hour Radio Show. We had a great interview, some laughs with each other, and The Word which is always awesome. People should try not to put things that are in their imagination into reality. It's really not a good look. Evangelist Matthews gave a great interview and Gospel. May she Rest In Heaven forever.
Just watched The Last Dragon. As I do from time to time because I've always been a fan of this movie and avid Kung Fu/fighting/ action movie fanatic but I've always been a fan of Denise's beauty when I'd see the film but never knew her career as the artist Vanity. After concluding the video idk what made me look up her bio and then what she was up to now but as a person raised in a Christian household and believer I'm so happy to have heard THIS video as well as another of her telling her testimony. I was so blessed by this video; as it was something I truly needed because although I'm a believer, I've admittedly faded in my walk with Him. I ask that the poster of this video please keep me, Sterling Jarod Mason, in your most sincere of prayers. I love you all and I thank and praise the Lord for leading me here at this hour.
Who are these people interviewing her? They sound sound so insensitive and why do I feel as if I can hear them laughing in the background? THey don't even respond to her emotions or humor. They just ask questions flatly and then interrupt her. Then the guy "accidentally" called her Vanity...it just seemed rude to me? And to anyone saying she is crazy, Denise Matthews was just very excited and she even admitted she loved telling people about Jesus. Leave her alone. RIP
