Nice! In Dark Forces II Level 6 you can also find the machines used by the Empire to demolish Barons Hed. Some of the droids in MOTS were also present in Shadows of the Empire, while the Protocol Droid and Pedestrian from DF2 also make an appearance in Droid Works Video game. Inside the DF2 archives one could also find more interesting things: in MOTS you can see 2 different faces for the Sith Undead (both are used), also Level textures suggest Sulon had more in design than in final version. A painting, originally seen on a wall in the Cutscene with Morgan Katarn Hologram is in fact inside the game (but not used), among a few other things.
So the hidden cutscenes are pretty much the same ones in the game, except in higher resolution? For the secret Bespin level, you can actually swap out the dark Mara and Kyle models for Vader's MP model, makes it much more authentic.
Well it's higher resolution cause it's the game engine rendering them as opposed to pre-recorded version at what ever low resolution they recorded them at. Also I don't think colored lighting was enabled for the pre-recorded cutscenes but I could be wrong? And yes someone actually released that years ago and it's on jkdf2.net I don't think it was ever on massassi so we have it saved and archived there: www.jkdf2.net/download/marc-sauves-bespin-special-edition/
I have another easter egg. On level 15, if you hit the 'fly' cheat, you can 'fly' down the pit where your ship is at and there's an AT-ST at the bottom!
There is a custom version of the bonus map where you can fight vader instead you might have played that version... it's here: www.jkdf2.net/download/marc-sauves-bespin-special-edition/
I had no idea about the secret cutscene files. Awfully generous of them to include the pre-prerendered cutscenes. Does it have every cutscene or just the first few?

Good stuff!
Max actually doesn't like being called a bunny lol. He prefers to be called a Lagomorph!
Nice work! I didn't know about the 2nd Max, or the droid ballet, or the hidden cloud city. well done and good high quality presentation.
Wow! Did not know the cloud city level was a real thing!

Cool video. Just finished DF2 and playing MoTS.
Cool stuff 🙂 I didn't know you could get a bunny side kick 🤣 lol

I want to add that for some reason, I have not seen that Easter egg mentioned in any of the walkthroughs or videos about the game
greatest video game of all time considering it came out in 97/98 fight me. but I remember fighting Vader in the bonus level
I agree

Pretty sure it's most but not all. At some point it stops working but been a while since I've done it.
