Fishing the Big Island for the Big Fish (Nato catches some fish)

- This Lateral Line fishing mission will complete the trilogy aboard the 821 Tristram with brother Kingsley. This time the boys make the run out to the Big Island, aiming to land the big fish!
The plan is to overnight at the island to give the boys 2 full days to have fun with good mates, eat like kings, catch something to eat, and hopefully catch and release a monster of the shallows.

That drone footage is absolutely awesome. Actually all the footage was great. Very relaxing to watch, nice to watch the slow times, and the bust offs. Not just cutting to action all the time. And food, good to get some ideas of people take on their missions.

Dayne at Marco’s was super busy and didn’t know when he could start the wheels boat for us and in the mean time we got an offer from Nic at FlyFin of a boat and Dayne said “take it! Quick question, with the float rig for kingies if you want you live bait right up on the surface, what can I stop the float with instead of the fg knot because me leader would be to long meaning the livie could go down, and could I use something to adjust the float to where I want it
We just use a rubber bead on the trace (the bead is a bit to small for the trace line) you can slide the bead up and down the trace with a bit of force and the float doesn’t give enough resistance to move the bead. Hope that helps
