    Great video! You guys shred! Sorry you didn't get better answers when you called our call center. I wish they would have connected you with me as I could have answered all your questions and helped you get your hands on a set a lot quicker. BTW - that spin you guys were doing on the RipSkates was SICK! I"m the guy in the green shirt you show at :26 and have seen a lot of crazy tricks go down on RipSkates, but I haven't seen anyone spin on them nearly as well as Jack did. Reversing one of them to make it happen is genius! Big respect to.the JMK team from Razor!

    (This text has been prepared by machine translation.)
    The same type of product was released in Japan around 2010 under the name "xlider".
    I got my "xlider" in 2023.
    And I can ride free skates, but I can't do 180s or other spinning tricks.
    Therefore, it is not possible to enjoy the turning performance that is a characteristic of "xlider".
    But it looks like fun, which piques my curiosity, and I hope to ride it someday.
    I am unable to share this joy because no one around me is free skating.
    But I am happy just to see the same type of product introduced as the one I have.
    Please continue to spread the joy of free skating to the whole world!
    I too will enjoy free skating!
    from Japan

    FREE SKATES (jmk ride) ARE THE BEST. I have 2 pair of them. I also have a pair of rip skates and a pair of X Gliders which are the same as ripskates but over seas. I bought them when I was searching for a new replacement for my old freelines that dont exist now. They are very fun to cruise on, but they are not as good as free skates at all. They have small wheels that are no good for bumps and can only go in one direction. And I bought freelines because I was searching for a replacement for my snakeboard that doesn't exist now. I also own an alterskate, which is awesome. I feel like I need a Dragan too. But I'm old lol and really I just cruise. I love the way it feels.

    • @jmkride
      @jmkride  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow - You have almost everything! 🤯 snakeboards and things of that nature are definitely on our list for the future 😎
      Thanks for all your support B! 👊

    • @LeRoi81
      @LeRoi81 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I also have a Snakeboard (now Dragan Streetboard), 5 different Ripskates, 4 different Casterboards (old Timberwolf and Whiptide with 4 wheels in-line) and some other Carve boards. Best skate feeling for me: The Ripskates! (more exact a chinese remake of the Xliders with 76mm wheels, using Undercover 86A oder Hyper Concrete Grip 84A, simply the best) Maybe not designed for tricks it's really good for smooth cruising over long time. I also feel really stable on them, more than with the JMK despite the thinner wheels. Never too old, I'm year '81.

    @DaDDy_DyLLi หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    if you driled the holes at an angle the wooden model probably would have worked a lot better. ripstiks are also sometimes called caster boards and the caster angle is what allows it to keep the momentum going forward and saving your balance

  • @Abzero-mx2pb
    @Abzero-mx2pb ปีที่แล้ว +1

    with the home-made ones, you forgot to slant the caster wheels so that they were forced to move in a line. when they arent slanted, they can move any direction.

  • @LeRoi81
    @LeRoi81 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I have both, JMKs and Ripskates in different variations. And cruising with Ripskates/Xliders is way more fun for me cause you can ride them more efficient. Steep hills are no problem, with 76 and 80mm wheels (bigger Ripskates) I can roll over everything easy with nearly 20km/h (approx 12.5 mph) and faster. And they are way cheaper. Can buy them for 30€ and lower. But replace the bad wheels! You can use the Casterboard or the Freeskate movement or combine them also with your upper body, very flexible flow. You need less power and it saves the knee joints. At 42 years it is worth thinking about it.
