If they don't get Mark Jackson, they are not serious about winning. Period.

One thing that I know about bad organizations is that the “long-timers” think that they know more than they actually do. They tend to be territorial, have a lot of opinions, are vested in the status quo, and have had little experience with winning. Trajan’s “door” should be open initially so that he can learn about what is going on, but quickly, they need to “flatten” the organizational hierarchy.

In fairness to Troy Weaver, the day Gores inserted himself into the Monty Williams conversation and overpaid someone whose heart was not in the job, was the day Weaver was dead-GM-walking. I'm not saying Weaver didn't blame...and mostly for Killian Hayes...but, there was ZERO chance of continuity of execution, once Monty was hired. And, that's on the owner.
Trajan wasn’t hired just because of his Experience. He was hired because of his Connection to Arn Tellem. There is no way they had 50 meetings, Tom Gores is lying. SELL THE TEAM!!!

I dont really blame Troy weaver for the job he did. He brought in good talent that jsut wasn't coached right. They weren't developed right and thats not really troys Job.
It is Troy’s job to develop these guys. It’s also his job to put dudes in place in the organization that he knows are good at developing young players. He didn’t do that. Last year was beyond embarrassing.
