Here's a What If that I saw in a twitter comment, what if Vegeta took over training Gohan and Goten after Goku died in the Cell Saga? What if he felt a pang of regret for letting Cell reach his perfect form, or what if he felt it was his duty to keep the Saiyan race strong in Goku's absence? How would things be different in the Buu saga? How much stronger would Gohan Goten and Trunks been if they had each other as sparring partners the whole time? Would the Buu saga wind up over before it even began with how much stronger they became? And what about Vegeta, how much stronger would he have gotten with Gohan there to spar with? Ultimately I think this could be a very interesting What If that explores something that Toriyama chose not to when the Buu arc started since it basically keeps the torch firmly in the hands of Gohan so to speak.
Considering in the original story during the seven years gohan didn't train ,goten and trunks attained ssj1, vegeta attained ssj2 and goku got ssj3 I guess if what you suggested happened both gohan and vegeta would attain ssj3 while goten and trunks would get ssj2 and we would get a goku ssj3 vs majin ssj3 vegeta fight. And buu would be released much much sooner due to all of the power
I don't think Gohan would agree to this. And Vegeta can't really force Gohan to do it. I mean Gohan was lightyears ahead of Vegete even just as a Super Sayan.
@@She-Devil94 I kind of like this idea. And Vegeta could totally guilt trip Gohan, telling him his father sacrificed his life, because he knew Gohan would protect the world. Honestly, I think that's all he'd need to say. Trunks and Goten would be totally down obviously.
Interesting. But how would Vegeta encourage Gohan to train with him without coming on too strong, or insensitively (y'know, like himself). There'll be no drama for 7 years but certain characters will remain disciplined with training themselves because they have a fighter's mentality (and even if there's no immediate threat they must be prepared), Gohan doesn't. The boy wants to live that peaceful life, and the only way I see Vegeta convincing Gohan to maintain his high status of power and not waste his potential is to firmly - yet *gently* - get the message through that peace doesn't last forever and ANYTHING can happen. Vegeta may not like to admit that his rival's son has greater potential for growth than himself, but he'd be stupid not to make sure Gohan understands how necessary he is to the world's protection should - Kami forbid - he himself fall in battle (along with Piccolo). While Piccolo's more accepting of his friend's want of a peaceful life, I'm sure he himself would like it if Gohan tried to find a balance in his lifestyle between training and academics, because, again, his potential - doesn't matter if Gohan doesn't have his race's incessant need to grow stronger and seek thrill in fighting, the motivation to gain strength to protect his friends, family and home should be enough of a driving force for him to train if Vegeta (and Piccolo) expresses his opinion on the subject matter. And if not all works out with convincing Gohan, there's still Goten - Vegeta would have more chance of influencing his power growth through the guise of “hanging out with his best friend at CC”. Getes would just need to find a creative method dealing with that hurdle (coz if Goten returns all banged up and Chichi sees this, then she'll nag to Bulma, who will nag to Getes, and HE - I'm sure - does not want the headache).
This is actually a terrifying combination. Super showed how easily overpowered Frieza can get with a little training. And Gero's creations were both a bane to everyone for a good portion of time (and caused multiple bad end timelines) AND were also shown to be able to keep up with god level powers in super. Putting Gero's tech, that he literally made in a cave in the middle of nowhere (Tony Stark eat your heart out), with the resources of a galatic empire who already has a dependence on tech? Yikes.
That sounds interesting. I imagine it would be a dictatorship for sure, but the androids would be more motivated to train. Babadi probably wouldn't be able to get enough energy from buu with androids.
Dr. Gero upgrading Frieza is actually a good concept! Frieza WAS upgraded into a cyborg before being defeated by Future Trunks and Dr. Gero did create Cyborgs (Androids).
The future stranger is probably a time remnant of zamasu looking to tip history into his favor. Or, somehow, Frieza from Super got access to a time ring and found a way to use it.
I think a cool What if would be, what if King Cold was resurrected along with Frieza in Super. I would have loved to see the events that would take place.
Dr. Gero will create a better cyber part for Frieza, making Frieza more powerful and then Frieza gonna kill him, as always an eternal fate for Dr. Gero.
Don't think so. He will keep Gero around, seeing as he is the only one who could fix him up and futher enchance him. I think he would keep him as a personal doctor.
Maybe not, as Gero doesn't annoy him he shouldn't get destroyed. He could get rid of those metal bits on him. And give him something far stronger and alot cooler.
MasakoX, *What If Bulma got her wish* has a lot of potential when you stop to think about it. What If when Pilaf was about to make his wish Goku fired enough Kamehamehas by Bulma's instruction and they bust out of the castle early and before Pilaf summons the Dragon. This lets Goku sees the full moon a bit earlier and so he goes bananas in the castle a bit earlier. They stop it like they did in the original series with Yamcha getting over his fear to save everyone, nullifying his need for the wish, and cutting off Goku's tail with Puar's help. Now with Pilaf done and everything has calmed down they gather the Dragon Balls for Bulma to make her perfect boyfriend wish, but Shenron takes this as the one she will one day end up with and brings to Earth a teenage Vegeta, but Bulma might be a stickler for detail and wish for him to be dressed a certain way like a 'prince' (for comedy) and so Vegeta is dressed in only his royal garbs, but that means he has no scouter making him effectively stranded on Earth., at least until the Dragon Balls recharge. He goes to the city with Bulma, as she volunteers her resources to him as she attempts to flirt with him, but while Vegeta might be young and going through puberty, he still is a cold killer and reacts harshly each and every attempt, but not so violently that the natives will want him gone as he is trying to make the best of a bad situation. At first his plan will to bide his time and enjoy a year off of work, but at the moment they are recharged and ready to go it suddenly hits him that no one else in the empire knows where he has been, and what he is up to meaning that he can just use the Dragon Balls all he wants with his only competition being the pitiful natives, he'll start to now scheme for a while before making his move, like maybe he could just wish for Frieza's death or the revival of his dead race/ planet, more power, etc, but in the meantime Goku goes to train with Roshi, and invites Yamcha who has nothing better to do until the 23rd world martial arts tournament. Here Vegeta just killing some time and goes to the fighting tournament on an impulse because Saiyans love fighting, not that he is expecting much, but here he'll be rather intrigued when Goku's tail grows back revealing that he is not the only Saiyan on this backwater planet. Vegeta is smart enough to put together that Goku must be some low level that got lucky, and will be judging Goku's performance for the rest of the tournament. In his eyes Goku is already in the process of becoming a failure to the Saiyan race and been corrupted by the Earthling ideologies which infuriates Vegeta, but briefly he forgets the Saiyan hierarchy, and the intergalactic politics when he is seeing how the simple minded Goku is just having such a ball throughout the tournament reminding him how much all Saiyans love to fight, no matter the class, causing Vegeta to forget himself and relax a little as he continues to watch. (Kid Goku has that effect on a lot of people in the early Dragon Ball days) If anyone is interested let me know, because the comment has gotten too long, but it will likely get a lot more interesting in the Red Ribbon story arc. The arc most responsible for Goku's character growth, next to King Piccolo's.
What if Zamasu chose Broly over Goku? When i think about it Broly has some of Black's traits such as becoming strong at absurd rates if Zamasu had known about Broly and how much potencial he has taking on both Goku and Vegeta in thier ssb forms I think theres a high chance he would have used his body instead
It is not quite ehat you are looking for but there is already a canon fusion of Goku Black and Broly (look for karoly black) there is a lot of DB lore that is only know in japan sadly ^^'
Interesting thought I had, if Cell contains Namekian cells..... Could that mean that, he could possible create dragon balls in some form? Whether that be after a kami esk seperation, or his "Good What if self". And if so.... WHAT would they look like, since he's not just namekian.

What if the Z warriors never stopped training? (Yamcha, Tien, Chaotzu, Krillan, Yajirobe, etc) What if the Red Ribbon Army had been around during the Saiyjin Saga?
what if Goku was raised by the briefs? what if Raditz left earth with Gohan? What if Frieza didn't Exist? What is one Cell Jr survived and was raised by one of the Z Warriors?
Now that first one is an interesting prospect. A sort of What if Superman landed in Gotham instead kind of scenario. How would Goku develop if he were raised differently? Would the universe it's self detect this and somehow still give his infant self amnesia, or would the briefs be more equipped to handle a rambunctious and wild Goku and redirect his destructive tendencies?
What if Cell could make his own Draonballs? What if Cell went to far back in time, sufered a malfuntion, forgot his purpose in life and got raised alongside Kid Goku? What if a random Female Sayin landed on earth with Goku?
Well, one of two things would have happened, either Cell would be gone or, more likely, since his own self-destruction wasn't enough to kill him, and if the events played out like they did when 16 failed, Cell would have gotten TWO zenkai boosts and likely would have easily overpowered Gohan.

What if goku killed doctor Gero back in the original db? It would be interesting to see how it would affect not only the main timeline but the future timeline as well
akiraokami I'd say the future timeline would be affected. Not the start of it but the end of it. I say that because if there was no androids or cell in the past, then trunks would not have the chance to train with vegeta in the time chamber thus not having the strength to kill the androids in the future.
Android and cell wouldn't exist, Dabura would kill the crew since Goku wouldn't die and they wouldn't have villains to train for. Buu wouldn't awaken because of the lack of energy

TripleA gaming MasakoX’s “What if Gine came to earth with Goku” series makes this happen. Basically he just hangs around and acts more like a proper Grandfather compared to Master Roshi.
Here's a "What if" what if Android 16 either defeated Cell with his Hell Flash. Or in a case were Android 16 was able to completely blow up Cell with a self destruction rather then being destroyed by Cell.
After 16 beats Cell, the Androids decide to go back to Kame House. Tien desperately tries to stop them, but 18 takes him out. Then Vegeta and Trunks get out of the HTC, and they get to Kame House before they get there. The Androids are easily defeated. Trunks goes back to his timeline and beats his Androids, Gohan doesnt get Super Saiyan 2. Goku stays alive, and Dende comes to Earth to revive Tien. The Majin Buu Saga should end early. But later on the timeline goes back to normal.
@@rashawnjordan1307 It depends on how powerful 16's blast is, so there's a chance Cell could regenerate from the blast and find out about his Zenkai boost before Kamikazeing himself. But if 16 managed to destroy Cell during his Hell Flash then Cell is done for while still only being in his powered up Imperfect Form (bug looking one)
This was surprisingly interesting. As more the mysterious stranger... i misheard you i saying it was Mai. So somehow i got the idea she comes from a timeline where Future Trunks returned and didn't stop by just destroying Cyborg 17 and 18 and Inperfect Cell. But killed al remarance of evil in the world Toa, and everyone else that uses force to get what they want even Pilaf and co. Mai escapes and finds the super computer with Gero AI in it, and the two make plans to prevent there future from happening.
Calling it now, the mysterious stranger is Fu. He is one of the only ones who would have access to this kind of stuff, and Zamasu would definitely not restrain himself enough for this.
Assuming it really could atomize cell, the saga would end early and the fighters would be 'under level' for anything after, resulting in a 'bad end' for buu. If it can't destroy cell, cell would probably destroy 16 then and there to avoid risking another bomb.
Goku still would have crushed them. They were roughly 50 thousand each, so 100 thousand together. Goku says fusion warriors are stronger than just the sum of their parts, but even if we give them a 5 time multiplier to 500 thousand Goku would still only need a Kaioken x5 to beat them, and at this point in the story can maintain Kaio x 10 easily.
Androids and mechanics in DBZ were always my favorite and this what if is legit in the drama from the plot irony and the ramifications of mechanical might - already anticipating the next installment happy new year!
What if Vegeta went to earth with Goku? What if Piccolo fused with super Guru before he died on earth? What if Trunks and adult Mai stayed in U7 following the Goku black arc? What if Krillin wished to become a Sayain following the Frieza arc.
Would that mean that Cell will get more Freeza clan genes than he did? If so then does that make him eligible for a golden form assuming he trains before returning to the past
That's a good question, especially since Cell's powers regarding transformations are a bit vague given that he needs to absorb androids to transform. Like he certainly had zenkai and other more obvious abilities like regeneration. The vague part is weather or not Cell could go SSj. Like he had the aura and his energy was that of a super saiyan, yet his appearance didn't change (True he has no hair) Still, it leave the unsettling realization that if he could go SSj, then with Perfect Cell as his "base from" an SSj multiplier on top of that would kind of make SSj2 Gohan powerless against him. So yeah, I'm not sure if Cell can just mimic ki signatures but his power is his own, of if he actually is able to utilize the SSj form, albeit somewhat nurfed versions of it.
@@dreadrath come to think of it you're right if he has the possibility to mimic the golden form then ssj is an easy task for him. I guess we'll just have to see what Masako has in store for us.

In theme of Gero, "What if Gero gave himself the best body?" I mean okay he might of had some fears it wouldn't work at first but after he made 17 and 18 why didn't he turn himself into a cyborg with infinite energy instead of just a brain in jar on a model that had to steal energy?
He saw that the infinite energy models couldn't handle the power, and thus probably didn't trust himself with it. Besides, he's also the sadistic sort. Watching their life force drain and knowing they're helpless to do anything about it probably makes him happy. And, as shown with Cell, you absorb enough energy from people you can eventually get stronger than an infinite energy model.
@@kyuubinaruto17 I don't know Cell's absorption seemed to be really inefficient until he got 17 and 18. I mean he drained hundreds if not thousands of people. Even if their power levels were a fairly low 10 or less thats still a pretty bad conversion rate. Never mind the times he stole power from some of the stronger fighters in the world. Still the absorption models weren't a bad idea if it wasn't for the fact they seemed to have a pretty low limit on the energy they can drain and take. Still would of been a nice feature to keep, it helps stop enemy attacks fairly effectively and weakens your enemy in hand to hand. Even if you don't need the energy I don't see why you would remove the feature as a back up or something.
Becuase their bodues ARE their bodies, Gero couldn't give HIMSELF one because his body was already too old. and Besides the absorbtion model has a quircker energy gain so short term higher energy output.

I really don't think the infinite energy core required a living body, or that Gero couldn't just grow a clone for himself and put his memories/brain in. Heck I am pretty sure he knew about the dragon balls so wishing to be young or what ever could be a thing as well if it was a huge issue. To be honest it's really suprising that a guy who spied on the Z fighters all their lives up to namek never thought of using the dragon balls himself.
@@jarosawsobinski1928 Gero would examine the egg and take samples, test them out, and most likely try reviving his wife and son making for 2 android 21's. Let's say his son is basically just like his android 16, Gero made him a kind hearted being that only had rage against goku, not at the point he wouldn't stop until he was dead but he just hated goku and wanted revenge for what he did to his family but he's reasonable. 21 probably wouldn't kill 16 like before. I think 16 would cause the evil and good side of his mother to split and let's have the good half look like a teenager, the same age as goku and she goes to the tournament that chichi faced goku, and good 21 face goku first and they build up a chemistry, and she falls in love with goku and goku falls for her. Gohan is still a genius because all of 21's memories and Goku's are on a genetic level. Chichi could have yamcha. Evil 21, Gero and their kid considered the good half a traitor and Gero hates the fact that goku tricked his wife into marrying him even if it's just a piece of her. Gohan would look like a white majin with black hair, his eyes are purple with the pupples being yellow. He only has a tail when he wants to but the majin pores around the body will also appear

Gero wanted to make the world into androids, making them overcome human limits. Gero would make everyone into beings like 21 but without the hunger that makes them into cannibals, he would make senju beans for the majins that are like candy but taste far better and works for majins, it fills them up for a week or a few days. These beings are not able to transform, they are a weaker version of 21 instead of having 2 forms it's a mix of both. Gero seeing Gohan as a example of what they could make, taking his blood using his spy bugs and he conds it with his buu virus and turns all humans into the hybrids. They heal fast but nothing compared too kid buu, they didn't gain the memories of buu so they can't use ki unless they saw it or learned it. Mr satan would actually be a powerful fighter, he maybe a rival for the most powerful warrior of earth. So earth is filled with humans that are basically android 21 if her 2 form's were fused into one. Gohan is the son of goku and the good 21. Let's say Gero gained some DNA from beings buu absorbed like the supreme Kai's. Gero and his family are revived and are better versions of android 21, he used his scientific mind along with his wife to alter it giving them far more power than what buu had. Goku and the z warriors would be monstrously more powerful I think cell would be made from the dead body of kid buu, Gero kept adding onto kid buu perfecting him, making his durability far better, making buu's mind smarter than himself and his wife, making buu look more like a human, and his hair was just a ton of stingers with his still having perfect cells stinger on his back. And this cell was born with a strange new ki, it was his own version of God ki, it was pure evil God ki, it looked just like cumbers. He looked somewhat like fu but with a cool new outfit, and fu's hair but with them just being stingers like cell's.
Love this idea great team up, but can our heros survive this? The stranger could be Bibidi trying to increase the energy to a Earth to wake Boo faster.

Very intriguing. This has many paths. Can't wait. I think the stranger is going to be Cell, but a Cell that absorbs Frieza. You know the doctor is not giving up his life's work. It's an obsession.
What if Bardock and Gine escaped to earth with Goku and raised him? Or What if Goku killed Cell instead of Gohan? Or What if Future Trunks and Mai stayed in the past after Zeno wiped their world? Or What if Piccolo fused with Super Kami Guru before he died?
What if Piccolo had a son? The idea would be that Piccolo would spit up an egg right as he started training Gohan. The could be done for several reasons. It could give Gohan companionship other than Piccolo. Piccolo could give Gohan the egg as a test to keep it safe hoping to draw out Gohan's power (remember Gohan's attack on Raditz was to protect his dad not himself). Or it could have always been a backup plan in case Piccolo died or Vegeta won outright since he knew there would be no dragonballs and having someone that could make them one day or grow strong and drive Vegeta off earth in the future would be beneficial. If memory serves Namekians grow or at least can grow pretty quickly as was the case with Piccolo himself so possibly in the one year between Raditz and Vegeta he'd be equivalent to Gohan's age maybe a tad younger.
only issue being that Piccolo jr (son of King Piccolo) is a Warrior Clan and cant birth children. Both Kami & King Piccolo were both Dragon clan (and would be able to). Might be interesting to see if Kami decided to do that for Gohan as he felt bad for not being strong enough to help the earth and for letting Piccolo take the son of its savior. You could also have a what if where Piccolo Jr was a Dragon Clan Namekian.

My Options of what ifs: - What if Beerus had woken up earlier? - What if Mr. Stan had asked some of the Z-Fighters to train him (as him, how to use ki, how to fly, etc.) - What If Bulma developed armor and gadgets tha let her fight against bad guys (and what if she gave that tech to Gohan during his Great Saiyaman stint)? - What if it had been Vegeta the one to become Super Saiyan god first? (alternatively, put here, either Gohan in this situation) - What if Launch remained prevalent? (a quick one) - What if Goku had created a Dojo and became a teacher? - What if Cooler had appeared in the main canon story? - What if Zamazu had being stopped by the Mafuba? - What if Android 16 had "survived"? (i mean, as in, Bulma had bacjed up his data before the Cell Games and succesfully reconstructed his body after it?)

I have a question. When Goku arrives on Earth, he knows the Instant Transmission, if Trunks tells him about Frieza and King Cold, can Goku just track him to Gero's lab and easly finish the job there? Plus if he teleports with Trunks, Vegeta and/or the Z Fighters, that would be even easier I hope you see this one, Masako, I'm interested about your opinion
Ms.Magius Faggit My Guess is Dr.Geri brings with him some portable Ki-Shield, or Goku decides to not go after them because they changed their minds and didn’t attack Earth.
The first guess is kinda tricky, because Gero and Frieza have no idea that Goku knows the Instant Transmission and the second one is less likely because Goku doesn't like Frieza at all, I don't think he's gonna be like "naah just leave him be"

I'm wondering if in gine one if she will sacrifice herself to save Vegeta and gohan. It be neat to see those two train. Would they both die or Vegeta sacrifices himself for gohan. Be interesting to have future gohan go in time chamber with Vegeta because he knows Vegeta best at that point.
I'm liking this one. It may take time to build all the androids and maybe even more versions and copys of Cell. But that would certainly make the Frieza force worth a sniffle.
I worked on a what if like this, but I did it where he wished 'all goku's friends had the same potential as goku' dont a few years after the piccolo junior arc. Turning every friend of goku into a saiyan, due to the zenkai potential and the Oozaru transformation, and finally the S-Cells that toriyama came up with a little while ago all being part of goku's potential

Frieza and Gero interacting was always a concept I thought would be neat. I remember Supersonic Warriors had a What If? scenario where Frieza comes to Earth and is trying to acquire the Dragon Balls while Dr. Gero is active, resulting in a three-way struggle between the heroes, Frieza, and the Androids.
I mean, if we need someone with ability to travel through time, brains to pull a scheme like this and personality, I think Mysterious Stranger was Fu. Would make sense to me. He just wants to see "How things turn out if X happens". X being "Frieza and Doctor Gero teaming up": He is a science-type himself, after all. Also, imagine Trunks' reaction to Cyborg Army. : 3

Considering in the original story during the seven years gohan didn't train ,goten and trunks attained ssj1, vegeta attained ssj2 and goku got ssj3 I guess if what you suggested happened both gohan and vegeta would attain ssj3 while goten and trunks would get ssj2 and we would get a goku ssj3 vs majin ssj3 vegeta fight. And buu would be released much much sooner due to all of the power
I don't think Gohan would agree to this. And Vegeta can't really force Gohan to do it. I mean Gohan was lightyears ahead of Vegete even just as a Super Sayan.

I kind of like this idea. And Vegeta could totally guilt trip Gohan, telling him his father sacrificed his life, because he knew Gohan would protect the world. Honestly, I think that's all he'd need to say. Trunks and Goten would be totally down obviously.
Interesting. But how would Vegeta encourage Gohan to train with him without coming on too strong, or insensitively (y'know, like himself).
There'll be no drama for 7 years but certain characters will remain disciplined with training themselves because they have a fighter's mentality (and even if there's no immediate threat they must be prepared), Gohan doesn't. The boy wants to live that peaceful life, and the only way I see Vegeta convincing Gohan to maintain his high status of power and not waste his potential is to firmly - yet *gently* - get the message through that peace doesn't last forever and ANYTHING can happen. Vegeta may not like to admit that his rival's son has greater potential for growth than himself, but he'd be stupid not to make sure Gohan understands how necessary he is to the world's protection should - Kami forbid - he himself fall in battle (along with Piccolo).
While Piccolo's more accepting of his friend's want of a peaceful life, I'm sure he himself would like it if Gohan tried to find a balance in his lifestyle between training and academics, because, again, his potential - doesn't matter if Gohan doesn't have his race's incessant need to grow stronger and seek thrill in fighting, the motivation to gain strength to protect his friends, family and home should be enough of a driving force for him to train if Vegeta (and Piccolo) expresses his opinion on the subject matter.
And if not all works out with convincing Gohan, there's still Goten - Vegeta would have more chance of influencing his power growth through the guise of “hanging out with his best friend at CC”. Getes would just need to find a creative method dealing with that hurdle (coz if Goten returns all banged up and Chichi sees this, then she'll nag to Bulma, who will nag to Getes, and HE - I'm sure - does not want the headache).
This is actually a terrifying combination. Super showed how easily overpowered Frieza can get with a little training. And Gero's creations were both a bane to everyone for a good portion of time (and caused multiple bad end timelines) AND were also shown to be able to keep up with god level powers in super.
Putting Gero's tech, that he literally made in a cave in the middle of nowhere (Tony Stark eat your heart out), with the resources of a galatic empire who already has a dependence on tech? Yikes.

What If when Pilaf was about to make his wish Goku fired enough Kamehamehas by Bulma's instruction and they bust out of the castle early and before Pilaf summons the Dragon. This lets Goku sees the full moon a bit earlier and so he goes bananas in the castle a bit earlier. They stop it like they did in the original series with Yamcha getting over his fear to save everyone, nullifying his need for the wish, and cutting off Goku's tail with Puar's help. Now with Pilaf done and everything has calmed down they gather the Dragon Balls for Bulma to make her perfect boyfriend wish, but Shenron takes this as the one she will one day end up with and brings to Earth a teenage Vegeta, but Bulma might be a stickler for detail and wish for him to be dressed a certain way like a 'prince' (for comedy) and so Vegeta is dressed in only his royal garbs, but that means he has no scouter making him effectively stranded on Earth., at least until the Dragon Balls recharge. He goes to the city with Bulma, as she volunteers her resources to him as she attempts to flirt with him, but while Vegeta might be young and going through puberty, he still is a cold killer and reacts harshly each and every attempt, but not so violently that the natives will want him gone as he is trying to make the best of a bad situation. At first his plan will to bide his time and enjoy a year off of work, but at the moment they are recharged and ready to go it suddenly hits him that no one else in the empire knows where he has been, and what he is up to meaning that he can just use the Dragon Balls all he wants with his only competition being the pitiful natives, he'll start to now scheme for a while before making his move, like maybe he could just wish for Frieza's death or the revival of his dead race/ planet, more power, etc, but in the meantime Goku goes to train with Roshi, and invites Yamcha who has nothing better to do until the 23rd world martial arts tournament. Here Vegeta just killing some time and goes to the fighting tournament on an impulse because Saiyans love fighting, not that he is expecting much, but here he'll be rather intrigued when Goku's tail grows back revealing that he is not the only Saiyan on this backwater planet. Vegeta is smart enough to put together that Goku must be some low level that got lucky, and will be judging Goku's performance for the rest of the tournament. In his eyes Goku is already in the process of becoming a failure to the Saiyan race and been corrupted by the Earthling ideologies which infuriates Vegeta, but briefly he forgets the Saiyan hierarchy, and the intergalactic politics when he is seeing how the simple minded Goku is just having such a ball throughout the tournament reminding him how much all Saiyans love to fight, no matter the class, causing Vegeta to forget himself and relax a little as he continues to watch. (Kid Goku has that effect on a lot of people in the early Dragon Ball days)
If anyone is interested let me know, because the comment has gotten too long, but it will likely get a lot more interesting in the Red Ribbon story arc. The arc most responsible for Goku's character growth, next to King Piccolo's.

Well, one of two things would have happened, either Cell would be gone or, more likely, since his own self-destruction wasn't enough to kill him, and if the events played out like they did when 16 failed, Cell would have gotten TWO zenkai boosts and likely would have easily overpowered Gohan.

future timeline would probably be unaffected as per usual, but it would make for some interesting stuff when Trunks come back and end up being wrong
akiraokami I'd say the future timeline would be affected. Not the start of it but the end of it. I say that because if there was no androids or cell in the past, then trunks would not have the chance to train with vegeta in the time chamber thus not having the strength to kill the androids in the future.
Android and cell wouldn't exist, Dabura would kill the crew since Goku wouldn't die and they wouldn't have villains to train for. Buu wouldn't awaken because of the lack of energy

Here's a "What if" what if Android 16 either defeated Cell with his Hell Flash. Or in a case were Android 16 was able to completely blow up Cell with a self destruction rather then being destroyed by Cell.
After 16 beats Cell, the Androids decide to go back to Kame House. Tien desperately tries to stop them, but 18 takes him out. Then Vegeta and Trunks get out of the HTC, and they get to Kame House before they get there. The Androids are easily defeated. Trunks goes back to his timeline and beats his Androids, Gohan doesnt get Super Saiyan 2. Goku stays alive, and Dende comes to Earth to revive Tien. The Majin Buu Saga should end early. But later on the timeline goes back to normal.
Wouldn't cell regenerate from that explosion and get a power boost?
@@rashawnjordan1307 It depends on how powerful 16's blast is, so there's a chance Cell could regenerate from the blast and find out about his Zenkai boost before Kamikazeing himself. But if 16 managed to destroy Cell during his Hell Flash then Cell is done for while still only being in his powered up Imperfect Form (bug looking one)

As more the mysterious stranger... i misheard you i saying it was Mai.
So somehow i got the idea she comes from a timeline where Future Trunks returned and didn't stop by just destroying Cyborg 17 and 18 and Inperfect Cell.
But killed al remarance of evil in the world Toa, and everyone else that uses force to get what they want even Pilaf and co.
Mai escapes and finds the super computer with Gero AI in it, and the two make plans to prevent there future from happening.
Calling it now, the mysterious stranger is Fu. He is one of the only ones who would have access to this kind of stuff, and Zamasu would definitely not restrain himself enough for this.

Assuming it really could atomize cell, the saga would end early and the fighters would be 'under level' for anything after, resulting in a 'bad end' for buu. If it can't destroy cell, cell would probably destroy 16 then and there to avoid risking another bomb.
What if Jeice and Burter had know the fusion dance
Goku still would have crushed them. They were roughly 50 thousand each, so 100 thousand together. Goku says fusion warriors are stronger than just the sum of their parts, but even if we give them a 5 time multiplier to 500 thousand Goku would still only need a Kaioken x5 to beat them, and at this point in the story can maintain Kaio x 10 easily.

That's a good question, especially since Cell's powers regarding transformations are a bit vague given that he needs to absorb androids to transform. Like he certainly had zenkai and other more obvious abilities like regeneration. The vague part is weather or not Cell could go SSj. Like he had the aura and his energy was that of a super saiyan, yet his appearance didn't change (True he has no hair) Still, it leave the unsettling realization that if he could go SSj, then with Perfect Cell as his "base from" an SSj multiplier on top of that would kind of make SSj2 Gohan powerless against him. So yeah, I'm not sure if Cell can just mimic ki signatures but his power is his own, of if he actually is able to utilize the SSj form, albeit somewhat nurfed versions of it.

In theme of Gero, "What if Gero gave himself the best body?" I mean okay he might of had some fears it wouldn't work at first but after he made 17 and 18 why didn't he turn himself into a cyborg with infinite energy instead of just a brain in jar on a model that had to steal energy?
He saw that the infinite energy models couldn't handle the power, and thus probably didn't trust himself with it.
Besides, he's also the sadistic sort. Watching their life force drain and knowing they're helpless to do anything about it probably makes him happy.
And, as shown with Cell, you absorb enough energy from people you can eventually get stronger than an infinite energy model.
@@kyuubinaruto17 I don't know Cell's absorption seemed to be really inefficient until he got 17 and 18. I mean he drained hundreds if not thousands of people. Even if their power levels were a fairly low 10 or less thats still a pretty bad conversion rate. Never mind the times he stole power from some of the stronger fighters in the world.
Still the absorption models weren't a bad idea if it wasn't for the fact they seemed to have a pretty low limit on the energy they can drain and take. Still would of been a nice feature to keep, it helps stop enemy attacks fairly effectively and weakens your enemy in hand to hand. Even if you don't need the energy I don't see why you would remove the feature as a back up or something.
Becuase their bodues ARE their bodies, Gero couldn't give HIMSELF one because his body was already too old. and Besides the absorbtion model has a quircker energy gain so short term higher energy output.

I really don't think the infinite energy core required a living body, or that Gero couldn't just grow a clone for himself and put his memories/brain in. Heck I am pretty sure he knew about the dragon balls so wishing to be young or what ever could be a thing as well if it was a huge issue. To be honest it's really suprising that a guy who spied on the Z fighters all their lives up to namek never thought of using the dragon balls himself.

Let's say his son is basically just like his android 16, Gero made him a kind hearted being that only had rage against goku, not at the point he wouldn't stop until he was dead but he just hated goku and wanted revenge for what he did to his family but he's reasonable. 21 probably wouldn't kill 16 like before. I think 16 would cause the evil and good side of his mother to split and let's have the good half look like a teenager, the same age as goku and she goes to the tournament that chichi faced goku, and good 21 face goku first and they build up a chemistry, and she falls in love with goku and goku falls for her. Gohan is still a genius because all of 21's memories and Goku's are on a genetic level. Chichi could have yamcha. Evil 21, Gero and their kid considered the good half a traitor and Gero hates the fact that goku tricked his wife into marrying him even if it's just a piece of her. Gohan would look like a white majin with black hair, his eyes are purple with the pupples being yellow. He only has a tail when he wants to but the majin pores around the body will also appear

Gero wanted to make the world into androids, making them overcome human limits. Gero would make everyone into beings like 21 but without the hunger that makes them into cannibals, he would make senju beans for the majins that are like candy but taste far better and works for majins, it fills them up for a week or a few days. These beings are not able to transform, they are a weaker version of 21 instead of having 2 forms it's a mix of both. Gero seeing Gohan as a example of what they could make, taking his blood using his spy bugs and he conds it with his buu virus and turns all humans into the hybrids. They heal fast but nothing compared too kid buu, they didn't gain the memories of buu so they can't use ki unless they saw it or learned it. Mr satan would actually be a powerful fighter, he maybe a rival for the most powerful warrior of earth.
So earth is filled with humans that are basically android 21 if her 2 form's were fused into one.
Gohan is the son of goku and the good 21. Let's say Gero gained some DNA from beings buu absorbed like the supreme Kai's.
Gero and his family are revived and are better versions of android 21, he used his scientific mind along with his wife to alter it giving them far more power than what buu had.
Goku and the z warriors would be monstrously more powerful
I think cell would be made from the dead body of kid buu, Gero kept adding onto kid buu perfecting him, making his durability far better, making buu's mind smarter than himself and his wife, making buu look more like a human, and his hair was just a ton of stingers with his still having perfect cells stinger on his back. And this cell was born with a strange new ki, it was his own version of God ki, it was pure evil God ki, it looked just like cumbers. He looked somewhat like fu but with a cool new outfit, and fu's hair but with them just being stingers like cell's.
Love this idea great team up, but can our heros survive this? The stranger could be Bibidi trying to increase the energy to a Earth to wake Boo faster.

Very intriguing. This has many paths. Can't wait. I think the stranger is going to be Cell, but a Cell that absorbs Frieza. You know the doctor is not giving up his life's work. It's an obsession.

What if Piccolo had a son? The idea would be that Piccolo would spit up an egg right as he started training Gohan. The could be done for several reasons. It could give Gohan companionship other than Piccolo. Piccolo could give Gohan the egg as a test to keep it safe hoping to draw out Gohan's power (remember Gohan's attack on Raditz was to protect his dad not himself). Or it could have always been a backup plan in case Piccolo died or Vegeta won outright since he knew there would be no dragonballs and having someone that could make them one day or grow strong and drive Vegeta off earth in the future would be beneficial. If memory serves Namekians grow or at least can grow pretty quickly as was the case with Piccolo himself so possibly in the one year between Raditz and Vegeta he'd be equivalent to Gohan's age maybe a tad younger.
only issue being that Piccolo jr (son of King Piccolo) is a Warrior Clan and cant birth children. Both Kami & King Piccolo were both Dragon clan (and would be able to). Might be interesting to see if Kami decided to do that for Gohan as he felt bad for not being strong enough to help the earth and for letting Piccolo take the son of its savior.
You could also have a what if where Piccolo Jr was a Dragon Clan Namekian.
Gohan: Wait, but you two come from the same pers-
Piccolo: *So* if you want Baby Namekians, you need another Namekian.

- What if Beerus had woken up earlier?
- What if Mr. Stan had asked some of the Z-Fighters to train him (as him, how to use ki, how to fly, etc.)
- What If Bulma developed armor and gadgets tha let her fight against bad guys (and what if she gave that tech to Gohan during his Great Saiyaman stint)?
- What if it had been Vegeta the one to become Super Saiyan god first? (alternatively, put here, either Gohan in this situation)
- What if Launch remained prevalent? (a quick one)
- What if Goku had created a Dojo and became a teacher?
- What if Cooler had appeared in the main canon story?
- What if Zamazu had being stopped by the Mafuba?
- What if Android 16 had "survived"? (i mean, as in, Bulma had bacjed up his data before the Cell Games and succesfully reconstructed his body after it?)

When Goku arrives on Earth, he knows the Instant Transmission, if Trunks tells him about Frieza and King Cold, can Goku just track him to Gero's lab and easly finish the job there? Plus if he teleports with Trunks, Vegeta and/or the Z Fighters, that would be even easier

The first guess is kinda tricky, because Gero and Frieza have no idea that Goku knows the Instant Transmission and the second one is less likely because Goku doesn't like Frieza at all, I don't think he's gonna be like "naah just leave him be"

What if Future vegeta survives instead of Gohan and comes back.
I'm wondering if in gine one if she will sacrifice herself to save Vegeta and gohan. It be neat to see those two train. Would they both die or Vegeta sacrifices himself for gohan. Be interesting to have future gohan go in time chamber with Vegeta because he knows Vegeta best at that point.
I'm liking this one. It may take time to build all the androids and maybe even more versions and copys of Cell. But that would certainly make the Frieza force worth a sniffle.

What if krillin wished to be ‘like Goku’ in dragon ball so shenron made him a sayan?
I worked on a what if like this, but I did it where he wished 'all goku's friends had the same potential as goku' dont a few years after the piccolo junior arc. Turning every friend of goku into a saiyan, due to the zenkai potential and the Oozaru transformation, and finally the S-Cells that toriyama came up with a little while ago all being part of goku's potential
or instead of the wish for panties, krillin did somethin stupid and they said "dammit Krillin i wish youd be more like goku"

Frieza and Gero interacting was always a concept I thought would be neat. I remember Supersonic Warriors had a What If? scenario where Frieza comes to Earth and is trying to acquire the Dragon Balls while Dr. Gero is active, resulting in a three-way struggle between the heroes, Frieza, and the Androids.
I mean, if we need someone with ability to travel through time, brains to pull a scheme like this and personality, I think Mysterious Stranger was Fu. Would make sense to me.
He just wants to see "How things turn out if X happens". X being "Frieza and Doctor Gero teaming up": He is a science-type himself, after all.
