  • If you have not noticed, I have been venturing out and trying new things with polymer clay lately. I was doing a project for my DIY channel with crushed glass and I decided to try with polymer clay. I think it came out very interesting. What do you all think? Hope you enjoy the tutorial! Ta, ta!

    Beautiful! I have loads of glass bottles that I want to "upcycle". Nice greens (olive oil bottles) and blues. Im so excited to try this. Thank you!

      The crushed glass was a left over from another craft I was making with it. The little pieces were perfect for it! hugs

    So beautiful 😊 I see you apply some resin on top so you don't need to bake the clay ? Any advice for the resin ? Safety : gloves and a good ventilation in the room ? Thanks 😊

      @@joannascorner4478 oooo super :) Zaczynam "kolekcjonować" przydasie i na dniach (na razie jestem w trakcie remontu) zacznę pierwsze próby. A jeśli chodzi o pytania to ; 1. Jakiej firmy polymer clay używasz - jaka jest najlepsza dla osoby początkującej? i 2. gdzie kupiłaś ten cudowny stempel? :) Buziaki z Poznania :)

      Oh Dagmara, ja wychowalam sir na Osiedlu Kosmonautow, jezeli wiesz gdzie to jest, przy parku Gagarina! Many swiat!

      Jezeli chodzi o klej, to ja uzywam Sculpey bo jest miekki I metalowe kolory sa sliczne zwlaszcza bronz. Znajde nazwe tego stempla ale prawdopobnie kupilam go z Simon Says Stamp.

      @@joannascorner4478 oczywiście że wiem :) Ja mieszkam przy samym Rondzie Rataje. Ehhh no popatrz jaki ten świat jednak mały - szczególnie dzięki internetowi :D Zazdroszczę Tobie sklepów typu Michaels (tak się to pisze? ) i dostępu do pewnych marek - jak właśnie Simon Says czy tym podobnych. W Polsce są niedostępne, a kupowanie ich w Stanach mija sie z celem, bo koszt przesyłki jest wielokrotnie wyższy niż koszt zakupu :)

    Oh my goodness, I have a bunch of those glass buttons from the dollar store and I never thought to crush them and use them like you did! Such a fun idea!! Your pendant turned out amazing!! I didn't know you had a DIY channel. I am going to head over there right now and subscribe!! :-)

      Thank you so much, my dear friend! I so greatly appreciate it! I actually was crushing the glass beads for a coaster that I was making and the idea of using it in a pendant popped in my head. It really is so easy to crush glass and when you do it yourself I think the edges are much sharper and the glass is more beautiful. Maybe it only my imagination! Ha ha!
