Ken that P5k is for those who have cocks for fighting that's the minimum bet. for spectators/bettors you just have to pay the entrance fee which is very minimum (usually less than a P50 depending on the cockpits and the season, during "Fiestas" entrance fees and minimum bets differ. )

Shout-out to Alex, a Filipino but staying in Germany, to be your "tour guide". A good choice to have "Halo Halo" on a hot sunny day. This dessert looks quite similar to our "ABC"/"Ais Kacang". In fact, vendors everywhere (be it in Malaysia or The Philippines) who sell this dessert, use all sorts of ingredients to make it interesting, delicious and appetising. Oh gosh, a rocky road indeed to reach that cock fighting arena. It's real hard work, Ken. Yeah, the scenery around is breathtakingly beautiful...such lush greenery with those coconut trees. Coooool drone footage and that last viewpoint is stunning. Another epic vlog. A big thanks for posting, Ken.

I first tried halo2 in Manila Chow King. Huge bowl and kind of sweet. It's akin to ais kacang or air batu campur in KL or Indonesia.just by different name.
Definetly when u r a traveller u would like to savour or try their local fruities etc.

The big fighting arena is just out side GL, a large 3 tier wooden building, worth checking out on Sunday, i go with my papa when visiting.

I have a tip for you ken so that you will mix halo halo easy :
First , make your hand like a cup on top of the container of the halo halo ,then put the spoon in the middle of your point finger and thumb then use your another hand to hold the spoon and mix it .GODBLESS AND thanks for loving Philippines ♥️🙏 mabuhay stay safe

The price you mentioned in the cockpit arena poster was meant for an individual entry of 5,500 (they will bring a rooster to fight) Yes, they have entrance fees too but not that expensive. Another Yes, it is legal to gamble inside the arena and why it is situated in a far place? because they aren’t allowed to be in a public place. That is a private property. 😅

Yes, Halo halo is the #1 ice dessert in the Philippines and halo halo is tested by all Filipinos but many Filipino doesn't know what mango float is because iti's a new dessert compare to WWII famous Halo-halo ang mango float is too expensive for some Filipinos with low income they can't afford but Halo-Halo in some province sells it only for 15 to 20 pesos some other rural area is sells only 10 pesos in small plastic cup compares to Mango float which cost pretty much higher
