As someone who had an opportunity to spend down time with this "Preacher of the Gospel" I am thoroughly convinced that God had His hand upon this preacher unlike any other before him and any that will come after him. I close with this: "Harder yet may be the fight, right may often yield to might, wickedness a while may reign, Satan's cause may seem to gain. There is a God who rules above, with a hand of power and a heart of love, and if I am right He will fight my battle, and I shall have peace someday".

This was the last time Dr. Booth preached for Rev. Butts at Abyssinian. This was preached four months before Dr. Booth's passing.
