The song “Rather be” was released in January 2014 and became a major hit on youtube in a short period of time. The song was composed by the British electronic group Clean Bandits and features vocals from Jess Glynne, an English singer and songwriter.
The song was a big success and won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording in 2015.
The original contains already string instruments, a violin and a cello. So it seems quite reasonable to arrange a cover version of “Rather be” for a string quartet in an instrumental version. The song became quite popular among wedding songs. The music is very positive and makes you feel like dancing.
