I’ve have one of these sitting in my garage for a good 15 years now. Only paid $800.00 for it. Nice seeing the prices rise.
The dealer is just selling it for a ridiculous markup. They're really still not worth much. Which is good, because they're easier for gearheads to get.
@@BanCorporateOwnedHouses Worth how much people are willing to pay. I looked on bringatrailer and they sold some in the same condition for more. These cars aren't worth a lot, like the predecessors, but they're definitely not $1000 cars in perfect condition anymore. I think he was asking a great price for the condition of the car
Man you just accidentally invented the " crayon smell air freshener". Lol
A friend of mine had a 76 he put a built 440 into years ago. That cured all the problems of the junk 400 that was in it. What a great road car, went to Florida in it and what a comfortable ride that was. Todays cars seem to miss that ride quality when on a long trip. There just not the same, good memories with that car!
In the mid 80's, my parents bought the Cordoba version of this car with a 318. Same color/top too. It was our teen car. It sagged badly in back and one day the springs busted through the mounts. They took it to a couple shops that said it was totaled and would not touch it. Finally one shop fabricated new mounting brackets. It wasn't a bad car. We were bad drivers.
The most underrated body style of a classic dodge ive ever seen. I love the looks of this car it’s so 70s
Didn't really like that they turned the sporty Charger into a Cordoba though.
Memories. My grandpa used to have a Dodge Magnum and a 75 Chrysler Cordoba. Basically the same car. The Magnum looked pretty close to the same interior as this one.
I can hear that 70's rock and roll coming through the speakers now...
Love these old land yacht's and I wouldn't do anything like lower it, put it on bags or even big rims just leave it as is and enjoy. Thanks for sharing this with us Nick and I hope you have a great weekend. 🙏
I would absolutely drive that daily. Looks and sounds like a real good car
Bought 1976 model new, optioned out well, for $5975. Stickered for over $7,200: the guy who ordered it didn't pick it up.
It got 21 mpg hwy too, wish I'd hung on to it.
77! My year of birth! I wouldn't mind having one of these! You don't see them at all!
Love that classic Mopar starter sound.
I think it's the same body as the Cordoba
@@stillnotwoke I think that the hesitation is a vacuum problem. Smog control created more problems. If you eliminate all of the pollution control crap on the car it'll get rid of 90% of the problems.
@@stillnotwoke Remember that well. They didn't last long. I never see one on the road.
Yep. My uncle had the Grand Fury Sport. Looking at that car took me back to 82 riding top speed I40 West! Beautiful car and wonderful memories.
This beast would of sold by the time I finished watching this video. What a bargain!!
With that low fuel level, dump a qt. of ATF in the tank and run it out on the highway. Clean that carb out good.
Beautiful looking car beautiful colours thanks Nick
I want it bad... my dad bought one off the show room floor when it was new. Long story short, I can't find on until this video 😭
To nice for a daily, to me looks like a going to town car. Thanks Nick
Central California watching
$5900 not to shabby
What, No Rich Corinthian Leather?!????....LOL..... ;)
Ain't that a Cordova with those round lights beside the headlights
Why does the back bumper not match up to rear quarter panel? Pretty sure that's not a design flaw from factory
That’s gangsta
My dad has a 75 just waiting tp be restored. Parts for these are hard to come by, and we live in effing Norway lol.
By the way, the rear is missing a huge chunk behind the rear bumper. I hope you will fix that?
Sweet car, hope it finds a good home with an owner that will take care of her.
Interesting about the switch that Chrysler made in 1975 when the charger went from a muscle car to a luxury car. Really walked away from the market. However the later Chargers had class and sophistication if not the popularity of the previous models. I think I would own it just to say I own a rare car. Even if it is a Cordoba wannabe.
Nice car at a decent price . It looks like a Chevy Monte Carlo.
im loving this car
What kind of wheels u got on it I have a 76 charger is like to get some nicer rims
Beautiful car!
The wipers are working, I'm going with the horn is working too then!
What a beautiful vehicle 🤠
Hey nick, Just saw this car in Troy, Ohio it had your sticker on the back 😂 small world
Such a beauty of metal sheets are sow cheap?
Nick that's a sweet ride you should have no problem selling that charger at all nice daily driver 👍
Dodge version of the Chrysler Córdoba also these cars were known as the dodge magnum in 79
The Charger looks dope, but thank heavens the name was replaced by the '78 - '79 Magnum, which I hope to see on the lot someday.
Love it!!!
Waiting for Monday Nick to see what new toys you got. Stay blessed brotha 🤙🏼
Pimping ain’t easy lol
That 77’ Dodge Charger looks very conservative
Clean! I knew the horn would work, now I’m betting a big Jackson in the tank! 😝
Probably upgrade the filter at the carb. Yall need a place in Florida. (Rust free)
How much for that yellow 79 Z ??
Looking for parts on 76 Charger Se. Can anyone help?
That is a real nice Charger with the horn working and the kick down hooked up at a good price
Oh s**t quick!... The horn will work lol.
Edit: Nice, I was right for once. 😂
That yeloow Camaro. I know they're not fast but I always did like the late 70s Camaro's/Firebirds
Love that sweet red pimp interior!
Nice seats, but they're not the rich corinthian leather.
It looks like a Cordoba
great car and low price
This car not so much, but coming from a Chevy guy who has an '18 2SS Camaro, I really like that green '65 Mustang fastback as you turned into the lot. I did see the video too on that and wish I had a large garage & extra money. I've always had a thing for the fastbacks.
is that a rare car because i dont think ive ever seen one
Nick did you pass KFC up I think pops was wanting a pot pie.
That's a Cordoba!!!
Different dont see these around classic......
What, no 'rich Corinthian leather'? LOL. Ricardo Montalban's (rip) favorite interior material. A malaise era cruiser, drop in a 6.4 liter Hemi and she'll be a great sleeper.
Great looking Charger!.Haven’t seen one in awhile!.✌️💯
Maple Motors Muscle Cars Nick Southgate Bosley wants to buy back his car!!
Wow I thought it was a cordoba
IMO not the most desirable car or sexiest, probably a slug on performance but being a bigger person I could stretch out behind that wheel and just float along in comfort.
Ughhh
Love the smell of crayon!
I love this car I will be in touch with you and keep these videos coming you are the chit !!!!
These were a sad reminder of how far American auto manufacturing had fallen...they were big, bloated and gutless .
The horn Hass to work before you sell the car
@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate I’m kidding well it should work. How much do you charge to install a new horn or to fix it?
It's nothing more than a Chrysler cordoba re badge by the corporation
Cordoba not a charger
Now it is not it's a Cordoba you just positively a Cordoba you made a mistake
I vomit when I see this. Puke. I have a 74 Charger Rallye 440-4 with the optional 3.55 gears and the torqueflite. Yellow with he black side stripes, power bulge hood with 440 magnum on the sides. What you hav it not a Charger
That was an absolute steal for that condition at the price...
Maybe if it wasn't molested. Pop up sunroof sized for a Vega, wheels that don't go with a formal roofline car, etc. And looked like the plastic around the rear bumper was missing.
