The adhesive are worth their weight in gold. They stick really strongly, but for some reason, you can still remove and reposition them if you messed up, as per what Techspec claims on their website. These pads provide even more value for the 2021 models, which Yamaha in their infinite wisdom, decided that GLOSS paint is the way forward The lower part of the center pad is meant to bend and fit the lower part of the tank, and the adhesive holds it strongly enough, so go ahead and bring it lower. Instead of a socket, a firm stress ball works well to press the pads down. It distributes the pressure more evenly, and if you mess up, you don't have a piece of metal flying, potentially nicking your bike.
Glad I got the matte black 2021 😂 tank pads feel and look great while on the bike. Thanks for the tip about stress ball. I used a tennis ball 🎾 worked really well.
Very nice and easy install. I've not added the side grips as I'm not that aggressive, but having the center cover is great to keep zippers from scratching your tank.
I’m verge intrigued by you mentioning the design mandate that it work for someone with a foot of height difference. Do you figure there’s room for customization based on height and would that make it more or less aesthetically pleasing. I’m trying to figure if a person of known height would result in it being shorter or just thinner. Sorry I’m detail oriented 😂
These things are essentially grippy stickers. You can totally adjere them wherevit makes sense for your height and ergonomics. You can make them look good in different arrangement too so you arent really constrained to only the config shown here.
The axle sliders are due here by the end of the week. We are also hoping to have the frame sliders back up next week. This should be all that we need to offer the total protection pack again.
Nah man, Techspec is a completely separate brand and company. Great folks to work with though. Maybe we can buy them out one day if the owner decides to sell
I may be biased here because we are a dealer for Techspec and not Stomp. Hmmm...this is for a reason though, and that is because we typically like the functionality and look of Techspec more than Stomp. I personally have used Stomp, Techspec, and some others, and always preferred Techspec. I think you may be better served with this opinion from an unbiased person though.
Sorry, but I find that, really but really very ugly. It looks like we took car floor mats and cut them to stick them on this beautiful machine that really deserves better than that. Disappointed with TST, which has so far offered great videos such as the installation of the brake light. But there, I don't understand. What's the next step? The top case, bags and basket on the handlebars?
This is a product made by Tech-Spec USA and something we use on all of our street and track bikes. It vastly improves grip during acceleration, braking, and cornering so we definitely believe in them. As for what's next, suspension is on the list and braking components.
@@TSTindustries Certainly good for the technical but aesthetic side, it is really below everything. I know systems of "grip" just as effective and much more beautiful putting at the same time the machine in value. It is not forbidden to make efficiency and beauty at the same time.

I typically don't care about scratches there, I just don't want friction catching me on transitions from side to side
Do you guys manually do closed captioning ?
No, that is some kind of automated Google algorithm
Do you have a vid for tank removal for this bike?
Nah, we didn't shoot that kind of content in detail.

We do not have that model here in the USA market so I can't verify that.
🙌🏆🙌
Excellent more to buy.

Seen the MT-03 on the track version Blog , Would it be best if I put 160/65/17 on the rear?
Which are better in your opinion Stomp grips or Tech spec?? It’s for a 2018 cbr600rr .

How to order..?
From our website.... (Link is in the description)
So you don’t need to remove the tank to install these. 🤦♂️ This video could have saved me a lot time.
yea...ok. I don't think I will be believing this one.

"The top case...." *The entire South Asian region did not like that*
So bad looking. Killed the bike.
