Thank you for the help! I now feel much more comfortable configuring EIGRP. I have a skills exam soon and I think I will do well now. :)

Thank you so much. Sometimes the troubleshooting packets tracers are quite difficult to solve. I am currently in CCNA 8 Chapter. I do wish that you would guide us through more of the troubleshooting Packet Tracers. Thank you, again. I missed your guidance in 7.2.3.6 especially. It was a struggle to complete. So many times it is difficult for a novice to follow the intent of the packet tracer author.

yea, in my packet tracer, it did not mention us needing to do loopback on ipv6 side, that is the only part I was confused about. By the way, thank you. :]

      Hi my dear friend.
      Thanks for your great support.
In this video we didn't set any loopback ip address. Here we set only network for router eigrp. In R2 we set Router EIGRP network as 10.0.0.0. In the activity Requirements they mentioned Use a single classful (its classful) network address to advertise the loopback interfaces.

thank you man, only i am confused because in my PT the loopback interfaces are not listed in the addressing table =( i see you configured them for IPv6 on R3 and R4 but not on R1 and R2 (IPv4). if i do check result i see i miss 2 summary networks to configure for R1 and R2 but i don't know how. my score indeed is 80/90 because each of my missing configurations scores 5 points. any help would be appreciated

on R1 for the interface s0/0/0 try the command "ip summary-address eigrp 1 172.31.0.0 255.255.254.0"
      and on R2 on int s0/0/1: "ip summary-address eigrp 1 10.10.0.0 255.255.248.0"
if thats not enough, configure eigrp 1 on R1 with "network 172.31.6.0 0.0.0.3" and in R2 with "network 10.10.8.0 0.0.0.3"

Hi I am not able to check using the command “sh ip interface brief” therefore I cannot confirm whether which loopback belong to router4?

    • @TechAcad

Please make sure that you give the command in the correct mode!

where can i get this packet activity to downlload

  • @zohebalikhan7404
    @zohebalikhan7404 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

I fell that the 1 first part of this activity is badly written, i.e. classful loopback interfaces.

I have another issue, I'm using CCNA's 4 semester online course and nowhere have we covered configured of loopback interfaces for ipv6.

I just realized that I was doing n updated version of this lab. Turns out they didn't adjust it properly to the syllabus.

GNS3 is much better than packet fucking tracer.
mpls does not work on packettracer
