    This is absolutely amazing. I had that extension up and found the 999+ permission asks a bit excessive. Can't wait to plug this in.
    That said, did I miss something about how you compiled that database? Have you made that available somewhere or is that your internal work for clients?

    • @godago
      @godago  ปีที่แล้ว +12

      So cool to hear you relate to this! Thank you for your comment. And yes, it is for now internal thing. I am still going through it as needed, cleaning it up and polishing it. If enough of people ask, probably it makes sense to share it. (of course, for free :))

      I mean I just saw someone offering 50 prompts for $150 and no guarantee they actually work, and I've already paid $10 for a prompting ebook that didn't have one bit of usable information in it. What I mean is if you release your thing as a pay-what-you-want then I'd rather pay you for stuff I know you worked hard on and is good quality, than pay someone else for nothing of value.

    I think it's important to consider that, while the ability to customize your own scripts is fantastic when tackling complex tasks, for most people and in most use cases, mastering the Zapier plugin (plugins now being accessible to + users) might be a more user-friendly approach, enabling them to accomplish more. Both methods are worth considering and can be adapted to suit your workflow, style, and needs.

    Hi fellow prompt engineers I am building a full novel with GPT4 at the moment. I have been working on it for the past four months and I have made significant progress with it. I have the full writing style, the world-building, the plot summary, the character list, and the visual imagery for each scene. Obviously, I am massively exceeding the token limit and had to build it in sections. I am struggling to get the bot to produce any useful writing, but I can't think of any more information to teach it to produce good work. I'd love to hear your ideas!

    Really great info and easy to do the Sheets integration. thank you! QUESTION: In this script, do you know what the variable "val" is and where it comes from? it's concatenated into the prompt, but where is it defined? I'm experimenting with ways to use dynamic data from cells in the sheet to create prompts and API calls and it looks like rather than concatenating long prompts in the cell, I will need to write them programmatically into the scripts. Thanks for sharing this - love the bonus part about finalizing output in Canva (one of my favorite apps!)

      @@godago do you have a website /blog?
      Perhaps it wouldn't be a far-fetched idea for you to post an article on your blog for each video, explaining in more detail and in a more didactic manner what you discussed in the video. I know, due to the short attention spans and impatience of today's youth, you have to literally run and cut any space between words. Unfortunately, this is no longer a world for boomers; we prefer measured and well-explained speech. In fact, I invite you to compare the speaking speed of late millennials and centennials with that of boomers and pre-millennials. There's a big difference.
      In this regard, for example, I like Lex Fridman. His slow and reflective way of speaking is refreshing. Of course, there are exceptions. Stephen Wolfram, for instance, is a speaking machine gun; his brain is much faster than what his vocal interface allows him to transmit.
      But don't worry, the world is changing. Maybe in 50 years, we won't even use our mouths and ears to transmit and receive spoken information, and everything will be through brain interfaces. Or perhaps, due to all these developments in artificial intelligence, we will have become so lazy that most people won't even bother studying anymore, because why would they?
      Or maybe we'll all be dead, exterminated by artificial intelligence.
