      Robbie oh my God you are the man. I just wish you didn’t live so damn far away!! I’m in Florida you’re in Utah. What a guy I am so impressed with your shop and your attitude thank you so much. Automotive people have a bad rap in my book! Obviously there dishonesty! You did not fit that cliché in anyway!! whatsoever!!
      I am an aircraft mechanic retired. Previous auto mechanic. So I get it!! Thank you so much for your very honest intro videos. I wish everyone was as good as you are!! Unfortunately people like to cheat!! And take advantage of people that don’t know!!

      No tracks for Robie! Tracks make recoveries too easy and remove the drama. Robie needs drama and shenanigans to relieve the tension of his tediously fine body and paint work!

    Ernie definitely fits in. The question is, _how_ does he fit in? Friend or relative?
    And since the banana was named after a fruit, you should name yours the tomato, and let people debate whether a tomato is a fruit or vegetable - lol..

    For the Red Rig, Air lockers, BFG's, later a set of tracks, Also a ( I do not know the true term for it) Splitter transfer case so you can run only front wheel drive to help in turning in bad spots. Also add on an air compressor and small tank. Helps with lockers and also when you air down you can air back up. Plus flat repair on trail. Along with an under the hood welder like Paul uses. Rig up on the underside a pulley system, So you can loop your rope under the rig to do side pulls or anchor yourself to rock or trees.

  • @thomasfletcher4765

    For snow you need tracks. Check with Casey LeDelle for pointers on doing that. You also need tires for non-winter. If you don’t do much snow towing it’s hard to justify tracks.

    highly recommend using safety glasses. once i used a grinder i had a splinter burn stuck in my eye. they dug it out with a syringe needle and after that had to grind the rust away with something similar to a dentist drill. 1/10 would not recommend that experience.

    I agree with Dinner . put tires on the rear 1 ton axles of course. and Triangle shaped Tracks on the front but you will need to custom make them to tilt and climb hills. put in a 4.6 stoker like the Bandanna and upgrade the drive train to handle the load. Talk to Roy about the Transfer case and get it combined to 5.37 gears. Good Quality 1 tones can handle it.

    Casey LaDelle has tracks on his Jeep. They are awesome. He Owns and operates Cascade Heavy Rescue in Bend OR. He recently helped Matt with building the frame for Matt’s new heavy duty recovery vehicle. The tracks are awesome for snow recoveries. You will have to do some steering upgrades for the tracks. You should give Casey a call and do a video together. I’m sure he’d be happy to share the “lessons learned” from his build/experiences.
    Perhaps you can collaborate with one another to grow your TH-cam channels.

    Restore it to full send use and appearance.
    BFG's, 1 tons and a V8.
    Lockers are the law preferably Detroit lockers. Winches fore and aft as well. Keep the gearing streetable, 4.56's. If you do half the magic on it as you did on the banana it will be fearsome. What's one more project.

  • @chevyfan82
    @chevyfan82 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    BFG's on the jeep not only because it would look sweet, but they would give you good drive ability on and off road. Tracks would cool but limit to off road driving and would be more parts that could fail.
