-Two "Goon Show" references in one sketch. The chasing-someone-into-their-body bit, and Eric`s "Nicky-nacky Noo" Spike Milligan-ese.
the press is here... well observed!! this is classy classic!!
The clark of the court is played by the same man as the Vicar in Dad's Army.
For ( anyone ? ) that has had to do any form of UK jury service 😝.... this is quite an accurate summary of the proceedings .................. DAVE™🛑
Hilarious, in my top 3 MP skits! Such a farce and not that far from reality.
"Screw the Bible, let's get on with this bleeding trial"
To outright actually say it, in the 70’s, on public television, in Britain… Must’ve been a hoot.
Don't call me Maurice in court!
Eric (yet again) has some awesome wigs!
That TV executive Graham Chapman plays at the beginning would fight right at home at Fox.
I don't know, wondering the same thing. The guy on the far left ( Terry Gilliam? ) is laughing about something, I think something has happened off camera. Also you can see that Graham is trying to keep a straight face.
I think the Njord mannequin might have fallen over as they were placing it... I also realize I'm replying to a nine-year-old comment, but still.
Monty Python is prophetic.
@Gjeorje -Two sketches- there are TWO sketches with references to a ruthless fanaticism- THREE sketches...I`ll start again....
And I think that's what caused Michael to start smiling. xD
Between Njorl, son of Hrothgar etc and Carl Gumbolputty etc, I'm beginning to think the Pythons have a fetish for long names.
And five, all together now.... "Assaulting a police officer!"
Don't forget Tarquin Fim-Tim-Lim-Bim-F'tang-F'tang-Ole-Biscuitbarrel.
Then again, there was somebody in there when they asked him if he could move any part of his body.
"Ho-YUSS!"
Sorry. I meant to type "feel right at home."
Screw the Bible! Yeah! Thank you for posting this!
most likely, pockypurse.
@dcspc i thought it was because he pulled out a note pad in his left had and was kinda reading it?
