    NAKU, Mama Juliet ganyang ganyan style ang natutuhan ko sa tatay ko sa luto ng TINUMIS!
    Brown ang bawang at
    TINADTAD ang karne ng baboy ay sigurado masarap ang luto natin!!
    May natutuhan pa ako tungkol sa pagkakaIBA
    ng TINUMIS at DINUGUAN! Pangasim sa TINUMIS ay sampalok at suka sa DINUGUAN!!
    It make sense at ngayon ay may DISTINCTION na ang dalawa!’

    Yes, finally yan po ang original na ingredients ng lolo at lola ko sa restaurant nila nong bata pa ako. Kasi po yo iba nalalagay ng lemon grass, bay leaf, kamatis at iba eh nagbabago ang lasa po. Yes po talbos talaga ng sampalok pero hindi naman kasi readily available dito sa US ang talbos. Kaya ang gamit ko po ay yon sampalok mix. Kasi po may pinuntahan kaming party over the weekend eh may tinumis sila eh nilagyan ng lemon grass at bay leaf eh para sa akin hindi po bagay. Kasi po may lahi kaming Ilokano, tagalog, kapangpangan, Chinese, at Spanish kaya halo halo ang panlasa namin. Sinubukan ko po yon Vietnamese na dahoon ng sampalok pero iba ang pag ka preserve kaya hindi rin maasim. Just saw your channel and I got excited because you are using the same ingredients like my late mom and grandparents. I just subs.

      England naman ako, mahirap din ang talbos ng Sampalok dito.
      I agree with you kahit hindi ko pa natikman... Lemongrass at Bay Leaves sa Tinumis... hmmm hindi nga bagay... 🤔

    I’m from San Antonio Nueva Ecija... what we used is “usbong ng sampalok” ... i try ko din po ito na gamit ay bunga ng sapalok.

      Sa Cabanatuan din ay Usbong ng Sampalok ang gamit sa Tinumis... meron din na Suka...😊

    Gusto ko po style nyo ng tinumis mukhang authentic talaga yung nabibili sa palengke .napakasarap siguro nyan.

    Yes. Sarap nyan. Pero kayo ng cook na nagluluto ng masarap na tinumis. It’s your call kung ano ang ilalagay at gaano karami. Gagayahin lang namin. In that way, masasabi namin na masarap ang luto mo. 😊

      Cabanatuan po ako pero nandito na ako sa batangas wala sila tinda ditong dahon ng sampaloc hahha miss na miss ko na yang luto na yan!!! Anyways thanks for sharing ur recipe po .... kahit nag crave lng ako hahaha
