I tried this once on BT2 and I managed to get very lucky and get to the semifinals once(the "technical would be finals match" before the championship matchup) but unfortunately that matchup ended up being a great ape(and my strategy was to try and hope I encountered no great apes or any larger opponents, or just avoid all the edges of the ring)

I don't know if there is a Draconic Aura Z-Item in Tenkaichi 2, but it does help in making Hercule somewhat playable.
