What if I only had liability (in Calif) truck sideswiped me. Denied claim saying reports have conflicting reports of where and how accident happened. No police report, no witnesses
Call your insurance company, let them deal with it. That is what you pay those premiums for. Let them earn their money. How does that not occur to one of you?

These lawyers don't respond to repeated voice-mail messages or texts. You leave a message with the receptionist and it is not returned. Where are the ambulance chasers when you need them?
Never deal with other persons insurance they will decline or lowball your claim, get a lawyer to handle it, at least you have a better chance of getting your car repaired and both get a cut of some money usually.
Insurance agent here, if you file a claim against someone else insurance company, that person has to give permission for their company to pay on their behalf. Therefore, if they can not contact them for whatever reason, they can not pay out the claim. All insurance companies have that policy because if they didn’t, what stops someone from filling a frivolous claim against you. The insurance company did nothing wrong.
Until the courts hold insurance companies liable for categorical claims denials and start ordering punitive damages, serial denials of legitimate claims will continue.
You not being able to contact YOUR client is not my responsibility. It IS your responsibility to pay the claim. If YOU cannot contact YOUR client, seems to me, forfeits YOUR rights to place blame on the other driver... You being liable doesn't depend on you not being able to contact your client.
Exactly . I dont understand how they could deny the claim when the police report clearly stated their client was at fault , caused the accident and the damage . . What did they need to talk to the client about first before processing the claim ?
I was at red light... Only Hearing a big BOOMM... we get rear-ended. 4 years still suffering for all my bones.. back pain, Neck pain, knees pain. Can't work for 1year. That person have a cheapest insurance and my insurance have to cover everything (yep but the raising the monthly payments OF COURSE) That person never get arrested, check if some influence of alcohol l, drugs... anything. Hiring a lawyer,,, the big ones.. they saying... Mmm she dosen't have a money and *"WE CAN'T HELP YOU"* 😡😡😡😡😅 Suffering all my life and she is ok like nothing been happened... *"THAT'S NOT FAIR."* 😬

I've never filed a claim with the other persons insurance. I call my own, pay my deductible, get my car fixed and then a year later will get my deductible back after theyve dealt with the other persons insurance themselves.
They probably didn't have the full coverage,does insurance covers you if you only have liability?That may be the reason,even my car gotten old i still keep my full coverage,just a piece of mind

@@denyskar liability insurance is for covering the other person if you are at fault. Full coverage includes your vehicle repairs (minus deductible) if your are at fault. If you drive a cheap beater go liability only. If you can't afford a $250 or $500 deductible there isn't much point to full coverage.

I thought this was supposed to be dealt with by both parties’ insurance companies? You put a claim through your own insurance and they claim it from the other. It seems they tried to take on the sharks on their own. Not a good idea.

I was once in a accident i was hit by a driver who was on my side of the road doung 120 mph in a 40 limit and it took 6 years to get them to pay me it cost me 25000 in legal fees and their excuse was because he has died we can't get a statement off of him so we can't pay out even though all the witnesses and the police agreed with me
I just love a Florida accent. 🤣 We have insurance companies like that in Detroit too, upon payment they issue an insurance voucher so that the client can get license tabs knowing that they will never make another payment. Very few people in Detroit actually carry auto insurance full-time. Those insurance companies ignore any claims.

She said it on the end call your state department of insurance they take care of it fast. Also your own insurance is required to handle it.
