Jamal Murray base cor under 6'5 is perfect for me. Ive tried lavine, iverson, irving, thomas, dragic, curry, but murray is the simplest shot motion and has a nice high release with lift.
Find a shot with better timing stability, as this is exactly what it affects. Next would be defensive immunity and release height. Speed isn't nearly as important as correct timing right now, which means shot speed is only very effective against late closeouts.
Are you saying your timing isn't stable? Well sit down, I got something to tell you: trusting youtubers for jumpshots while ignoring the grade system is why you are mad you're D+ timing stability "best jumpshot" is inconsistent. Also, no one shoots with the exact same timing in real life. You have to adjust some times in the face of defense. Don't be mad a game is realistic
Just use what works for you. i have used Gordon Hayward base in 2k24 and 2k25, and It works great. I shot almost 69% 3pt, for all of 2k24, and I'm currently over 60% from 3pt going into season 3 in 2k25. It never gets tested despite it being requested. It's very slept on.
I find that this year the releases you choose impact your jumpshot significantly so be careful don’t just put on releases cuz they say it’s meta 1 it will usually get patched 2 there is always a jumper that is more comfortable for you
Tyrese maxey base is extremely slept on it’s quick and very very smooth and it’s easy to time maxey base with Kyrie for both releases smooth as silk I promise
Tutes, I used rhythm shooting since the game came out but want to switch to button shooting. Could you test out which point on the custom visual cue setting has the same timing as rhythm shooting? The obvious answer seems like it’d be exactly on push since rhythm shooting literally says “push timing”. But it feels completely different to me.
Literally makes no sense to switch to button shooting. Especially for lower shooting ratings. It gives you a wider pure green window so you’ll just make yourself miss more shots unless you just haven’t found any success with it because you’re having trouble with timing it properly. That being said, the best release point depends on your player and the shot you use. In my experience most shots need to be put at either push or set point in order for the proper release point to line up with what makes sense according to the visual cue of the shot.
@@sstelevision6376 Yeah I’ve been a believer in rhythm shooting since the start. On my spot ups I still use it and shoot over 65% consistently. But on my higher 3pt guards, I’ve found button shooting to be identical to rhythm. Most comp guards I play against use button and barely miss too. I mainly made the decision to switch since I’ve been playing against a lot of double backends who switch everything. I need to quickstop and shoot the small peaks when I get myself open, and I find myself loading up too much when having to quickstop and load my rhythm shot. Plus I get way too many shots that don’t register my rhythm shot or it’ll say very late when there’s no way I timed it that wrong. With that many bugs, I just switched to button shooting on my guard
@@Jcrossover05 ok yeah that makes sense then. It’s still a little glitchy for shooting off the dribble and I have had issues with rhythm shooting not registering sometimes too, especially on my elite controller. But yeah, I’ve never found a reason to use anything other than push or set point as it pertains to using the button. Sometimes I even have the cue somewhere in the middle of them. I’m really just meticulous with how I make shots but the idea is to time the release cue to match up with the visual cue which I usually have as the flick of the wrist or the cock back of the arms depending on the shot I’m using.
I run kyrie base and upper, Oscar lower. 30/70 4/4 Release timing. My visual cue in reality is the push, the latency handles the rest. Shoot 50 shots how you feel the shot should be, then adjust the shot timing to match up with how long you like to hold shot button. Shoot 50 more, dial it in, and you'll be shooting better in no time.
It don't matter what base you use. Whether it's the highest green render or the lowest because of the RNG in the game it does not matter. You will miss no matter what. So just pick a base you like cuz it don't matter 😂
Lmao good riddance. 24 is easily the worst one so you can go back to that slow-ass, can't-do-shit-but-left/right-cheese-cause-everybody-moves-the-same ass game. Crying about 25 in favor of 24 is CRAZY. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Please leave any jumpshot base recommendation!
Curry!!!
JJ Reddick is phenomenal for small guards...
For bigs can you test Jabari Smith Jr. base
PJ Washington
Pippen pls
Jamal Murray base cor under 6'5 is perfect for me. Ive tried lavine, iverson, irving, thomas, dragic, curry, but murray is the simplest shot motion and has a nice high release with lift.
The random shot timing this year is horrible. You can take 10 shots the same exact way and miss over half of them.
this game is about visual cue, not timing
@@deezosaintloyaleven if you hit the same visual cue every time the results will vary…

Yes thank god I'm not the only one

I was performing pretty well with Ja Morant and D Rose bases, And Bogdan on my 6’6 3&D
I agree with the people suggesting testing Jayson Tatum. I quite like it as an option for swings with good shooting.
Try Joe Harris it saved my 2k life in season 2
So it’s Culver the best base overall for 6-6 guards?
if you compare it to all the bases on the list

Its set point. The set point is the rythym release point. But to switch back to button from rythym is crazy. Rythnotall day for me.

Dwight Powell for 6’10+ please. 🙏🏾
hey tutes can u check how late could a defender jump and contest your shot from far away with different jump shots?
That's what the challenge reduction test is doing essentially.
