I m very happy today that I do not see jealous people's disrespectful comments about Turkiye's team...today this team proved that their play style is high quality and they showed one more time that they just do not depend on Vargas...all players played very well, defend a lot and attack strongly and got points again...People should admit that Vargas is just the piece of this team and she has many contributions to the team like other players do too. We love Vargas and feel like she is one of us. I think she loves the team and also Turkish people and feel happy. I feel like playing against top teams is what brings out the best in team Turkiye. the difference in their quality of play between today and previous games was like night and day.
also, how good is Cansu's setting seriously. when the reception is good she diversifies offense so well and gets the team firing on all cylinders. at that point Turkiye is very hard to stop.

Yes but Cansu's problem is keeping Vargas out of game so much. She almost never plays when Cansu is in the game
@@aloha1783 on the contrary, that's her strength and quality as a setter. it's not about bumping a high ball to your opposite every single play, you can only go so far with that kind of one-dimensional offense at the highest level. the way she incorporates her middles and outsides on top of your constant Vargas threat, makes it that much harder for the opponent to counter.

@@blaz3ofglory yes but even when she passes to Vargas it just not the same way with Elif Şahin (other setter). When Elif passes you know that Vargas will get the point without getting blocked. Maybe because Cansu is left arm idk but if you watch the other games you will see Vargas gets blocked when Cansu passes, but never blocked with Elif.

It was a great match. I loved how focused and dedicated Gabi and Thaisa were but it wasn't enough for today. Everybody says that Turkiye is nothing without Vargas but I think this match is a great example of the importance of a team work. We used all our players, Cansu was amazing at setting the games. About Hande, she wasn't at her best in terms of offensive play, but she improved her defensive side a lot. Eda, the captain, was absolutely killing it every time she blocked Gabi. Not saying that Gabi is bad, but have to admit that Eda is a 36 years old player and her athleticism surprises me every time. It has always been a pleasure to us to play against Brazil, an ecole in Volleybol. We learned from them a lot along the way, and today we are top 1. I hope we can beat Japan, and go to Paris. Our girls really deserve it. Fingers crossed for Turkiye from now and on.

Eda is a very smart player. He makes it look so easy. Her "China" and "drop ball" plays connected all the time, and she blocked Gabi even by herself at some point. She's a complete player, and so athletic you wouldn't believe she's 36!

First of all, I have to mention Gabi's performance. *Gabi* is a phenomenal player. If it weren't for her, this game would have been completely one-sided. That's why I have to pay my respects to her.
Secondly, *Hande* was outstanding today. She silenced all of her haters with her performance. She has been going through a tough time because of a psycho in real life. Despite that she is giving her best every game.
I don't even need to mention *Vargas* because she is always great.
And lastly, Captain *Eda* . Turkish setters can rely on her at any time; she is as calm as it gets. She has become a legendary figure after Neslihan in Turkish women's volleyball. Thanks for everything, Eda.
