Financialization is bad. But look at history and you’ll see how it happened. My grandpa paid cash for every car he owned. He never took out a loan. 1971 and money no longer being gold backed led to mass financialization or down the path to where we are today. Mortgages on homes going from five years to thirty also is bad. Look at how in Argentina how most people own real estate without mortgages. It’s more fair and doesn’t create asset bubbles.
Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”
I have a question for Grace. When have you ever had to worry about paying bills, not having enough money for food and why should anyone take any notice of a privately educated, Oxbridge champagne socialist?
And if she had a less privileged background how exactly would that change the validity of her book? I think you're very confused, this is a book about history and economics, not a memoir.
Does this mean that people who study medicine, I.E. doctors, can't talk about increasing rates of cancer unless they have cancer? Genius take, my doo...

Real "Yet you participate in society. Curious!" energy. You are very intelligent, surely.
5:30 "there's all sorts of economists" ... yup. And they're all. *WRONG*...
Read her book. She talks too fast
Will it say anything that I won't have allready read in Das Capital ... ??
@@tobymaltby6036 weird flex for someone who misspelled Kapital
She talks too fast and everything she says is waffle. It’s also very difficult to take a champagne socialist like seriously.
Grace talks about wage stagnation but she’s not doing too badly. She makes money from corporations like ITV.
Bizarre comment. If wages have stagnated then they have stagnated, her personal income has nothing to do with it.
