I think penny should get an Olympics test! She is basically a whole new brawler so I think we should see what she will do after that huge rework to all her star powers and gadgets and she should be better in the 3-attack kill test with her gadget since she will be able to do so much damage

I love how Otis' clap pin is him just hitting his head to clap lmao. I feel Otis could possibly be a top 10 or 15, possibly top 5 brawler because of how strong his super is. Just imagine you are about to die by a Shelly but you manage to get your super latched onto the enemy, you could just turn the tables and kill her instead. I could see some people managing to pull this off but it could take a lot of practice and timing.

i wish his main attack was more interesting. maybe the paint blobs splash but only when hitting walls (because graffiti artist) and otherwise stay single-target

We NEED the Auto-aim Olympics!
Believe it or not but I've been wanting you to make an auto-aim olympics for years, knowing auto-aim distances for brawlers is extremely important in certain scenarios.
What I recommend for you is, for brawlers that shoot multiple projectiles per attack, show the different ranges for different number of projectiles hit. What I mean by that is, for example when showing Colt, show it like; "Colt hits all 6 projectiles point blank, then he only hits 5 projectiles 2 tiles away, then he hits 3 projectiles 3 tiles away, then he hits 1 projectile 4 tiles away, and he finally misses all his shots at 5 tiles." That way, the information will be much more useful.
Sir kairos you do know that you can do faster in here 8:30 just aim when the two boxes would be damaged
It's not allowed as in a real showdown game they aren't spaced like that

It's looking like this season is gonna at least start out as a mid/long range meta, Otis' super and Penny's new barrel are both huge counters to close range brawlers, on top of all the stuns, slows and pushback already in the game. Just food for thought.

@@ahmaudr.burgess5948 speed gear is good on bushier maps, bushier maps are bad for long-range brawlers. I dont think it will "nerf" speed gear.
Distance brawlers will always be better than short distance brawlers unless the map Carries the close rangers

I personally feel like instead of increasing time of the super as a star power I think they should change that to increasing reload speed or 1 paintball from every ammo gives him some back
Hope they make his extra paintball a default and rework that star power. Maybe make it so each paintball stacks a timer that makes Otis and his allies SEE marked enemies while they are hidden or even outside their FOV (like how team mates have icons pointing to their direction in duo showdown when you can't see them). That'd really be awesome and tie with his Eyeball monster? design.
basically the eye gear (it allows you to see enemy brawlers in bush for a few seconds after you hit them)

The test is a good idea but the ranking is gonna make no sense and is gonna be unfair for close range brawlers
Like what's gonna be the deciding factor accuracy (Jacky never miss at range) or the range that you can still hit although some of the projectile does not hit (basically all the brawlers with multiple projectiles)
I like the fact that because Otis doesn’t have hands it claps with its head
I’d like to get a auto aim video. Even though I mainly auto aim with close range brawlers it would be nice to see how every brawler performes in the test you did in the video.
Side note, I think it’s fair to assume that one of the other 2 brawlers in Otis’ underwater trio will have the ability to ”swim”. Basically the same as Eve where you don’t need to worry about water when playing and being able to use it to your advantage. Or maybe I’m wrong but I feel like it would suit the trio well

Befor Kairos's 100% honest update review I wanted to share my thoughts about the update.
This new brawler is cool but despite this there is not enought content for me.
Brawl stars has a lot of things that have to be fixed but because of the fact that they have to introduce a new brawler every other month the developers can't handle such tights rithms of work.
In my opinion now they should concentrate on some aspect of the game like gears, "looking for a team" feature, map making (and also introduce second gadgets for some brawlers) and a lot of other stuffs that, in my opinion, are not working right now.
Instead what we have in this update is a change to club league that adds EVEN MORE quests in the game progression (Like if they were not enought) and a too many new skins that only a small part of the community will buy.
I know that judging before the update lands is wrong, but for me this was really underwhelming, because two other month without gears fixes might be an hard period for brawl stars
Agreed, I think the devs should change the brawl pass to a new type of progression, that way they don't have to feel as pressured to release a new season so often since people really want the brawl pass for it's progress boost.
Frank (Game Lead) has said on twitter that they won't rework gears at all. Unless its really necessary which in my opinion is a dumb decision
Great video and I think that the auto aim test could be nice also another idea for a test could be the super farm test becuase it could be handy to know how many shots or idividual hits (colt for example) someone need to get his super

Kairos, what if you cycle his Super fast enough to hit an enemy Brawler with another Super before the effects of the first dispel? Does it simply get prolonged?
For the debuff olympics, there are some brawlers, like Crow with his 1st star power, Belle with her 2nd one (preventing ammo reload is pretty much a debuff), also Lou with his 2nd reworked star power and everyone that can stun and slow down enemies
I think Otis is gonna be a good sinergy with high damage brawlers like EMZ, because when the enemy is silenced, Otis' allies can be aggressive and deal a lot of damage, because the opponent can't defend themselves.
Also, when a brawler is hit by Otis' super, it can't use any ability to escape, making them even more vulnerable.
do you think it works on IKE tower in siege ??
he'd also be a good counter to support brawlers, imagine not being able to heal teammates for 4 seconds

@@ranysaba1706 I don't know, Belle's mark works on turrets but not on IKE. So it would make sense for it to work the same way for Otis' super. But it's a new brawler so they could (intentionally or not) make his super different.

The only thing I find a little bit disappointing is his basic attack, not because it's underwhelming, but because it's too similar to others brawlers basics attacks. By shooting paint, he had a lot of potential to have a cool and refreshing gimmick...

Hey Kairos, I think the auto-aim test would be great. Also I thought Otis wouldn’t be unique, but the star powers really save him. I think he would be balanced.
Star power and gadget mechanics are great. I just think the first sp needs a little buff to be viable, the second one is a little better imo. The skins on the pass are cool. I will definitely buy the new season!
First sp needs to be removed, SC can't buff or nerf it and also it's quite broken to completely shut down a brawler for whole 4s!
@@sbuffo2.58 maybe you’re right bro, cause the super totally nullify assassins and tanks. But I think the mechanics are not the problem. That kind of super needs a very slow recharge rate, like Tara and gene super. I think the problem is: Only 3 complete bursts is too little for a valuable ability like that. I think they need nerf the recharge rate for 15 or 18 projectiles landed.

@@junedanieltamor9071 Incase your asking how he will change the meta, He will be a direct counter to a lot of aggro brawlers, who are currently thriving thanks to bushy maps and the speed gear. Currently our meta revolves around being speedy and putting out huge damage and being aggro. Now, we'll probably have a more map control oriented meta where longer range brawlers will thrive along with other control brawlers like emz barley and squeak (squeak will be more relevant in this meta than the current one since the current one only favors his gadget)

Not to completely contradict what i just said, but i would love it if you re-made a Penny olympics as well as doing an auto-aim olympics for the rest of the brawlers. I'd love to see how every brawler does at auto-aiming (maybe cuz i do it too much).
Seems like Otis is an amazing support. He can help chip away at brawlers and his super is versatile. He is probably really bad for bounty and solos. Heist is a key pushing for him. He is able to prevent some very strong attacks on the safe. Probably A tier as offensive stats are not his specialty. Duos is awesome for him as he has way better survival than everyone else. I have to disagree with your ranking for hot zone. Although his super stops attacks, enemies can still dodge. More C than anything.
At 11:46, when Darryl spurred the ball, it didn’t go far and fast but instead lit up. Maybe supering the ball will make it like the fire ball where it breaks walls?
Otis 2nd gadget should be he can go under water for 5 seconds.
One thing I think would be interesting to know, regardless of whether it is in the game anymore or not, is how Otis would do in the dive test, as he can disable the siege turret
I bet that would have been a complete game changer if siege still existed! The triple brawler dive would be so much more effective

I think supercell should really buff his super because it just really feels like a long range stun but the enemy can still move. It is still incredibly useful but I just feel like it should be able to disable enemies mid-attack, like it is a disable after all so why not disable them while they are performing something. Like picture your gem-carrier is getting pulled by Gene and then you disable gene and the hand detaches, how cool would that be and also definitely make it so his super can also disable passive abilities like Bo's.

Exactly , i was soooo dissapointing to belle ughhh. And lous super was so unnacassary , ok lous basic attacks have a stun mechanic
The first star power is pretty boring ngl. I think a good way for making it a bit more interesting is making that his starfish stuns enemies for 0,25 (or even maybe 0,5) sec so that it also works as an interrupting ability

9:26 you gave Otis an unfair advantage at the survival test: as you did before, brawlers are not allowed to stun/block/dodge the robot. So its a bit unfair to disable him from attacking.

i feel like Otis should have a gadget that turn his attack into a throw attack for 3 shots ( useful especially when a brawler is low and they hid behind a wall )

Hey kairos! I've been watching your videos for a while, and I love it when you upload! I was wondering if you could maybe do a video on which brawlers are worth getting to power 11 in the early game?
I think Otis's super should silence for longer the farther away he hits the enemy with. It should start from 1.5 seconds of silence up close and 3 seconds at max range (kinda like Buzz's super). That way his silence won't let him win everything up close. I also think he needs a slower unload speed. The Dormant Star gadget should be a default 2 second silence.

i think the auto aim test is good i guess, it does matter for some brawlers like surge and probably penny because that is a quality that matters because peaking is a really valuable skill to have a lot of the time, and being able to unload fast is also important too outdmg the other player, we already saw this with release grom and yeah.
