I tell you, girl, you just make me smile! I love how you just enjoy what you are doing, and perfection, though nice to achieve, is not the primary goal. You make me want to try whatever it is you are doing at the time, and since I am just thinking about getting into quilting with rulers (I'm kind of a beginner-intermediate quilter at present), I think I'm going to try this! Can't wait to start! (maybe a glass of wine and some M&Ms would be a nice go-with?) 😎
I just love your videos. I use those little medical finger cots to control rulers, fabric or anything that needs controlled and kept in place while sewing. They are great for holding small pieces together too.
Thank you again Angela! I really think Smiley is a superstar ruler. You outdid yourself on this one. I have had fun and enjoyed quilting with him and this video gives me even more confidence and ideas for using him. You’re the best!
Hi Angela. You have helped me get started quilting on the machine. I have done two so far. Now I am on my third one and bought smiley to help me. I am having trouble with holing it any suggestions
Hi Angela, I really enjoyed a few of your designs that use the larger curve. I really think it would be helpful if they could add the reference line for that side. I could not see how you were lining up for that side or what you used for reference when repositioning on the large side. Will you do a video using it on the longarm? Maybe we could see better. I checked the diagrams and was still unclear. Thanks. 🌷
When using your ruler on a long arm do you always use the ruler base? I don’t like how it limits my space when using the base but not sure if I can use rulers without the base.
Without the ruler base your ruler won’t have anything to lean against and could rock and accidentally make its way under the needle and cause damage to your machine, your hands, your eyes, and anything else when the broken needle and/or ruler pieces flie(s) across the room! 😬😮😱
How do you know how far apart to make your lines to keep your work straight? I am new to fmq and ruler quilting. Thanks! Or do you just draw one line and build off from that start line?
I’m new to quilting and I wanna try my hand at machine quilting and no one ever really states how you start a new line in quilting so you just cut the thread and move on or find a way to connect the 2 lines also how do you take the design around corners??
Unintentional customization..... I love this outlook!

How do you go around corners with smiley on a border
Are we going to be able to get Smiley in the low shank version at some point?
Just bought smiley and ruler foot. I keep skipping stitches and shredding thread. Help
If you just quilting in a square space, does it matter where you start your row?
Love Branson!!
Is Smylie 1/4 in thick ?
Love your rulers!! I really wanted to buy this one but didn't see an option for it for a low shank machine. Do you know when they will be available?
Angela said they are not offering low shank, I am very sad about this.
