Yuvan is not like Harris or anirudh, he always experiment with music. He never make music in a comfort zone. Unlike Harris or anirudh, he's a composer who can make music simultaneously for an art house and a commercial film.

This movie was FABULOUS. I only wish dhanush did it when he was a bit older and a better actor. This would've been his godfather if he was a bit more mature as an actor.

bro only because he did it earlier it turned out to be scarface of indian cinema. who wants more and more godfather. infact if he had done it now we would have not got that kind of feel we got back then. good that dhanush did it back then itself. because he himself cannot recreate this extraordinary acting. and that kind of lack of maturity in him was required because kumar is a very eccentric gangster. it perfect suited him and dhanush gave a natural performance

The Real OG raw gangster flick
One of danush's best movies and yuvan Shankar Raja's best works . The symphony orchestra work as bgms in this movies are top notch . The music director is the same guy who did rowdy baby song . He is ilayaraja's son. One of the best music directors ever . But doesn't get the recognition he deserves . You have reacted to lots of his songs but didn't pay attention and remember his name since no one has filled you with enough relevant and important info and feats about yuvan Shankar Raja . His work is much more intricate complex and very diverse than anirudh . He even does symphony compositions . You have to follow this guy and look out for his work and I bet you definitely love his works if you listen to enough best contents he has created not necessarily only the famous ones.
Plz watch Aadukalam or Asuran movie of Dhanush... You will love it❤😊
