I need to put this somewhere. I went through something in this last year that caused me to totally question my entire faith and whether I was even "in Christ" anymore. Such an understatement of the trauma that it was.....someone who claimed to be of faith, trying to convince me I was condemned because I didn't do things exactly as HE wanted them to be....
Anyway, when I escaped him....I was so desperate to hear from the Lord.. Music has always been my way of connecting with Him the most.... and I frantically went through youtube after youtube videos of christian singers looking for solace and comfort... to feel HIM again......... then I happened upon a Casting Crowns one (which I knew of them before but now...) and when I listened to them and their lyrics... OMG....... the Spirit of Him just FILLED ME.... I mean.... these guys are the REAL DEAL.... they KNOW HIM personally... there is NO doubt in my. mind because every song I heard spoke to. me so clearly. And in the darkness I was in.... His light was so bright through their music.... WAYYY more than any others.
So if you are looking for truly Spirit Inspired music of God... THESE GUYS have it.

AMEN! I totally know how you feel! This specific thing hasn't really happened to me yet necessarily, but I so know how you feel. The great refreshing time that the gospel provides is PURE GOLD. All we need to do is to think about it.
I did the same thing going through Covid. All of that time spent doing nothing have me a lot of time to question, not my faith, but rather its strength. I needed to find out how much I could trust God. By the end, I found that the Lord was holding my life, nothing physically serious happened, but my faith took a journey farther than I had ever gone. Now, I read my Bible regularly because it is a map, and I pray to God, because He is the guide who helps me to interpret the map (bible). I learned that through faith in the Lord, I can pray to Him, and ask Him to help me through anything. I had learned to turn my worries into prayers. I pray that you all do the same. It takes a lot of stress out of your life, and let's God into it.
Don't ever let anyone or anything convince you that it is anything but the blood of Christ that justifies us. Either He paid for it ALL, or nothing at all. Abiding in faith in Christ is the only way to remain in Him. ❤

I imagine a music video where a man is adrift at sea and as the song progresses, the environment changes to suit the lyrics. Crying out on his knees day and night for redemption and awakening up until the end of the song where he finally shipwrecks on an island and on the shore is the cross. Dunno why but that all just came to mind as the song went on. This song really hit me on a personal level as it is a prayer I've prayed more times than I'd care to count... One I still pray today. The only light I see anymore is when my eyes are open, I’m not even safe in my mind anymore. How does he love me. Why does he love me. I know all about God, I went to church but all I’ve ever gotten were empty answers and unanswered prayers, even when one is answered it doesn’t feel real. I don’t deserve him. There are so many that are better. That can do better then my insane, sinning, doubting, dark, hating mind. I deserve nothing. I feel so lost, and overwhelmed. Like a rat in the gutter, covered in nothing but grime. There are so many that arnt to gone.

But I can tell you, if you think that you know all about God, then you don’t know Him. I’m sorry to say it like this, I don’t know Him myself enough. But I know at least that He is standing next to everyone of us, waiting for us to give Him our lives So that he can begin working with us. He died for us, He is our Father, that’s why He loves you, and every child of Him. Just accept His help and love and begin working with Him, then you’ll see His Glory

Well surely you can't expect us to go on without knowing. How'd it go??
Well, it did not go very well. When I was practicing with my driving instructor, he told me that i am such a decent driver that he wishes he could give me my license himself. He also warned me about a woman at the DMV that fails everybody for any reason she can. Well, guess who I got? I got that lady. Everything was going very well; I barely had any marks against me, until I turned right out of a neighborhood onto a main road. I was in the far right lane, and she warned me that I needed to make a left turn, so I had to get over three lanes. Obviously I slowed down in order too make my turn, so I was going 33MPH in a 45 zone, and she automatically failed me far that. I was insanely upset that morning and was just kind-of angry at God as to why he would allow me to get someone who would fail me over such a reason. Now I realize that it must not have been my time; the road is a dangerous place. Thank you all for your prayers anyway. I retake in in December. God bless you all.
