There's a criminal lack of energy based moves in Goku's moveset. I think it would be really cool if an uncharged Kamehameha (it's neutral b, right?) was a ki blast. It could function similar to Pit's arrows. You could either control them or they could have a subtle homing effect.
In ssf2, goku's moveset is a chargable kamehameha for neutral(slow fall if charged in air/shoots straight), max 2 ki blast for side b(goes diagonally down in air), kaioken charge for down b (activates kaioken for a short time or until goku is hit when an opponent hits him doing the charge animation. Boosts speed, damage, neutral b charge speed, replaces side b with a kaioken dash, and increase goku's percentage over time). Up b is an instant transmission that starts with a spin kick upwards and kicks enemies if they are at his arriving destination. Goku can also float in the air like peach
Ok i ain't gonna lie, i sorta disagree with this take, because in my opinion goku's more of a martial artist in terms of db, he focuses a lot more on hand to hand moves, even looking at the moves he's made shows this (The Dragon Fist, and Super God Shock Flash.)
Thanks for the showcase. Im still working on finishing the moveset and balancing him. Some playtesters say hes op and needs a nerf while some say hes bad and needs a buff. Kinda hard to hit a sweetspot there^^
I'm really really looking forward to testing it!! I think it will take a group of players of all levels to get a good feel for the balancing. It's a super complicated job, especially alone! Hang in there 💪
One thing that would instantly make the character better would be to give him a chance to use grunts instead of voicelines for his moves, so you don't hear "KAMEHAMEHA" like 30 times a second

I love the concept of adding Goku, but he doesn’t *feel* like Goku power-wise (not yet anyway lol). He definitely needs some more balancing and changes. Other than that, he seems like a lot of fun to play! I’m interested in getting to try him later on! 😄
No hit box, act out of, give him like two up b's, three with rage (super sayan could be like wing or limit charge) make hits weaker but more combo heavy

I like the idea of Kaioken where you can trigger it once a stock and you receive pretty significant buffs, but they only last around 30-45 seconds and you're left slightly weaker (either lighter or moves do less damage) than before Resets every stock and has to be manually triggered
That seems too long, doesn't Arsene last for around 15 seconds? Also, instead of having downsides for the rest of the stock after, it would be more fitting if Goku took damage while using it.
Or it does incremental damage to you while your using it like pichu how bout that? it's supposed to be very hard on the body to use. It could have a passive and tick like .1% a second dmg . Hmm?:D

They gave him moves where they could lift as much of the code from other characters as possible I'm guessing (Mewtwo in this case). There's quite a lot of stuff that looks familiar if you pay attention.
They did a good job but this goku mod has so much A tier smash character potential. It wouldnt be wrong to say that his moveset needs to be changed a bit and def needs a way to charge and transform like clouds meter. Forms: The higher the form the slower it takes to charge the meter. The meter increases more when landing heavy tilt attacks or spikes than normal attacks. Goku should have super saiyan, super saiyan god, and super saiyan blue. Super Saiyan: When goku goes ssj, instead of kaioken, he has a meteor smash type combo move. Super Saiyan God: When goku is in ssg he gets gravity bash for his side B and solar flare gets replaced with god bind and can be used mid air or on the ground. God Bind holds the player in the same place and dosent just stun them, meaning you cant god bind, then push them to the edge of the map. God bind has a little more range than mewtwos confusion tho. Super Saiyan Blue: Super saiyan blue gets kaioken back for the side B and instead of solar flare or god bind, he gets a counter. The counter is basically one inch punch from the ressurection of F movie where goku gets into a stance, puts his finger to the opponents chest, and punches the opponent. It does about 26 damage if it lands and if the opponent is at 80 % or higher it will be like lucario at max aura and kills the opponent. has to be a physical attack or sword attack to activate this counter, no projectiles. Final Smash: Goku's Final Smash could be a super spirit bomb, but its unique. When goku uses his final smash, its not a rush like yoshi's but goku kicks the opponent and a cutscene plays out where goku hops onto a rock and charges the spirit bomb. Goku launches the spirit bomb at the opponent and a special action occurs. The opponent can mash the B button to try and push the spirit bomb back, and the person playing goku can mash the A button to push the spirit bomb onto the opponent. If goku wins, he goes straight into super saiyan blue and the spirit bomb explodes on the opponent dealing 70%, but dosent launch very far (unless the opponent is at a high damage). If goku loses, a special cutscene plays after the spirit bomb hits goku. Ultra Instinct: Now I personally would love to see ultra instinct goku in the next smash bros but this may be a bit too overpowered. When goku is in ultra instinct, he gets a heat bar. Every time a projectile (non explosion), physical, or sword attack hits goku, he instantly dodges it if the player controling goku dosen't jump out of the way or blocks it. In ultra instinct, goku's shield health is WAY less than other characters. For example, a move like 0% lucario's full charged aura sphere would break gokus shield. I would say moves that deal around 20% - 25% would break his shield. Goku's heat meter goes down by 1% every second and when it runs out, his ultra instinct does too. 1 dodge = 10% meter. 100% meter. Ultra instinct gokus skills: Goku's B skill will still be kamehameha, but if he gets attacked by a projectile while charging it, he teleports to the opponent and blasts them in almost a single frame so they cant escape it. (LVL one kamehameha does 15%, LVL two does 20%, and LVL three does 35%) His side be will be a rushdown type move where goku rushes forward and punches the opponent downward (25% dmg) (has a meteor effect when offstage) also he can recover from all these moves offstage, unlike wolf. His down B will be a counter but he goes behind the opponent with one arm out and the opponents body gets continuously attacked (40% dmg) His up B gets changed with an uppercut, and if you input up B again, goku shoots a beam downwards simmilar to what he did to jiren. Ultra Instinct effects: When ultra instinct runs out goku's special skills besides up B get locked for 15 seconds. He can still fight normally, but no special skills. I Hope you didnt read all this because this was a waste of your time because goku is never getting added to super smash bros ultimate. Maybe super smash bros. supreme will have it. 💀 GOKU OVER ALL THE FIRE EMBLEM DLC THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE ADDED!
I think he looks great. I think he should be able to act out of over-b like Incineroar and maybe some more range on other moves, especially jab. I think it's absolutely critical that his Up-b has an option to attack or just teleport to minimize exploits with counters.
He has a lot of combos and kill confirms. His teleport is goated as a conversion attack. Sometimes you can even avoid attacks which I find hilarious. He doesn’t feel op but he feels pretty good. He definitely needs some buffs on the recovery department plus his specials aren’t great.
Yeah, all of his specials feel much weaker than they should be. You commit too much for little payback. I feel like the Kaioken should be a power up state, where you can move quicker and deal more damage, but you take damage over time or have it tied to a guage or something. Kamehameha should be stronger with a bit more charge time and be shiftable. His teleport shouldn't hurt, but should travel farther and allow Goku to move afterwards.
But.... what if you could upB while you do the kamehameha and make a teleport version. Teleporting while grabing one would be nice to. That could end in an grab release animation
Goku’s up-b should be like pickachu’s where you can choose to teleport once or twice and change directions. And the first teleportation shouldn’t send you into free-fall so you can combo out of it but if you choose to double teleport, it send you into free fall
How did they see "diagonal projectile that stays as a hitbox in the same spot for multiple frames and goes through the ground" and not abuse it as 2 frame weapon against predictable recoveries?
I think he needs some buffs but not too much. Also maybe do a Kazuya neutral B for Kamehameha where you can shoot it straight or angle it while you’re in the air. That way you could turn it around midair and use it as momentum like in SSF2
How to buff Goku 1. Have more reach on his attacks, maybe give him the ability to use the power pole 2. Get rid of the Taiyoken for something like explosive wave or genki-dama 3. Make it so the Kaioken has more range, and you're not in special fall afterwards 4. Make Instant Transmission less punish able 5. To get out of tough spots use wild sense for his air-dodge 6. Allow him to stall in the air with Kamehameha 7. Simular to DBFZ give him an air dash to escape and create pressure 8. Make one of his taunts him powering up so he can transform into a Super Saiy-jin.
Saw thumbnail at work. Was 98% sure it was a mod but decided to Google "goku smash bros." First result is "Goku (悟空, Gokū) is a playable newcomer in Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch." Got very hyped for roughly 10 seconds.
Idea for goku Neutral smash: Super saiyan or the form after the one you are in. The transformation for some of the higher tiers has to be long so he isn’t too op. Side smash: kamehameha can be pointed in all directions even backwards if an opponent is behind Down smash: solar flare just with better range so it isn’t wack Up smash: flying nimbus can fly in any direction for 5 seconds and has a 30 minute cooldown and will just give you a small boost when not on cooldown
How is his down B not like Cloud "powering up" to then go super saiyan like Joker w/Arsenne but for the rest of the stock... wouldn't even have to change his down B once powered up, he could have multiple levels of SS

More than anything, this mod needs smear lines, or whatever they're called in smash (the little highlights that appear whenever an attack happens). Characters just looks so weird without them
I have a bass (the mega man character) moveset concept of a rushdown character with a fox laser neutral b with falco laser hitstun, but only 3 pellets on screen at a time and the damage output that is less than sheik's weakest move to keep the move balanced. His up smash is his Cresent kick like fox, and his up b would be a controllable treble boost. The move would be similar to sandbert's up b from rivals, but it would have a corrin-esk multi hitting hitbox as to not let him be too easy to edge guard and a more strict amount of total frames.
@Cliven Soewarna jab would be a 1 2 from bass into treble bite, dash attack would be a tengu blade dash that could kill, down tilt would be the bass dash that would be similar to mega man, cloud, joker, and sephiroth down tilt as a combo tool. Up tilt would have a swordie up tilt with the wheel cutter, ftilt would be a simple mii gunner ftilt, fsmash would be ice wall leaning and smashing into the ground, downsmash would be a solar blaze with nerfed range, Nair is a simple sex kick, up air is a ladder up air, back would be similar to zss bair, mii brawler fair, dair is a unique chill spike projectile that would freeze the opponent and meteor smash them, neutral b and up b were said in the first comment, side be would be a command grab that would turn into a falcon down throw animation, and down b would be a water shield like leaf shield, but each of the 9 water bubble would break on impact. He would have a treble tether grab and for his down throw animation, treble shoves his mouth into the ground while bass makes use of another wheel cutter. For his up throw, treble throws the opponent into the air for bass to automatically follow up with a similar animation to mewtwo nair. Forward throw would be a back hand slap, and backthrow is treble tossing the opponent away for bass to automatically follow up with a chill spike to freeze the opponent.
I'd love to see Goku be able to act out of teleport, and I'd love to see kaioken have combos kinda similar to fighterZ. more energy based moves would be cool too, stuff with stationary projectiles or slow moving projectiles, maybe some projectiles with a mild homing effect. also, a comeback mechanic in super Saiyan would be really cool. in 1v1s have it activate on goku's last stock, giving him a movement speed boost and a damage increase, maybe even a float or a third jump; in team battles, have super Saiyan activate when a teammate loses all their stocks *or* on goku's last stock. in the team scenario, if Goku dies with SS he loses it, and if he has multiple teammates and another one loses all their stocks he goes super Saiyan again
90% of these moves are from Super Smash Flash 2 where goku was a top tier before a very small nerf to his up b. Now he is that game's little mac, but with falco lasers in the form of ki bullets, and peach style float combos
He has a lot of really stiff, chunky moves. In a super floaty, movement heavy game like smash this just gets him destroyed. A character like Mewtwo likes having a move that stops his momentum because his side B helps to mix up recovery timing. Goku having all of his moves stop him in place and telegraph his movement makes him pretty ass tier. Honestly though you wouldn't have to change much to make it better. You'd either want him to hit harder, play a little more fluid, or make his recovery better. You don't have to do all of those, keep him balanced, but one of those tweaks and suddenly you've got yourself a great mod and a legit character.
Fixed him: Down B - Instant Transmission, make it similar to Meta Knight’s, but the end move can be different types of directional attacks. Up B - Fly, make it similar to Lucario’s: able to control the direction, but slower, and able to use 8 light, directional aerial attacks (right stick) while in it that don’t do a lot of knock back, but can combo until the Up B ends, with a single stronger attack at the end if you hit b again. It’s like combining Lucario’s Up B, with Sephiroth’s, and Kazuya’s tilts but weaker than the two latters. Neutral B - (Tap) Ki Blast like base-Joker’s gun. (Hold, lvl 1) Kameha, (Hold lvl 2) Kamehameha, (Hold lvl 3) Full Power Kamehameha. (Aerial) Like Kazuya’s laser, able to go straight or diagonally down, but can also go straight down (spikes when fully charged). Can be charged in air, but falls moderately while charging. Side B - (no combo modifier charge meter) Flare, which has greater reach but stuns for much less time, (combo charge meter lvl 1, double tap side-b to activate) Kaioken minor temp damage + knockback boost (damages Goku initially), (combo charge meter lvl 2, triple tap side b to activate) Kaioken x10 temp minor speed + damage boost (consistently damages Goku, no knockback boost). Temporary, but can be cancelled (resets combo charge), similar to Shulk’s Buster + Speed, the combo needs to be high in order to get Kaioken x10, and if you hit 200% DMG while in this state, it auto kills Goku. If Kaioken is used after %200, it permanently slows Goku & weakens his attacks. Flare can be used at any percentage. Rage - Super Saiyan levels. (100% DMG) SSJ1, (150% DMG) SSJ2, 200% SSJ3 (temporary). Speed + Strength boosts throughout, knockback on Smash Attacks becomes slightly lessened (gotta find right balance). Final Smash - Ultra Instinct: temporary, timed real-time Final Smash. Able to use a variety of Final Smash moves, is way faster, has a limited amount of damage output that can be used. Similar to Cloud’s Limit Break in that his Directional B moves each do a different finisher. Perfect Parry - Like Aegis’, but he can teleport behind, above, below or even in front of them with a super fast directional input. All this is what his moves should look like. Maybe switch Down B with Side B though, but each moves the same as described. Definitely needs to be balanced, but only through Knockback, Damage and Speed outputs so to limit combo’s but keep them impressive, avoid infinites, and to keep him fun and competitive.
unless his final smash is a super saiyan move, he’s lacking that goku feel. my instinct would be to have it be a comeback mechanic like terry or sephiroth where he gains powered up attacks and/or super armor.

I agree with the first part of your comment, but when you know a lot about a game, you can get an overall feeling about a character. Also, his moves seem quite slow and hard to connect, but of course these are things that can be improved, so maybe he doesn't suck but just needs some refinement.
nah like these guys arent great players but they're kinda spitting. his frame data is very not good looking, range not good, side b, his burst option and secondary recovery tool, looks very bad, combo game only seems okay to make up for all this. dtilt and utilt seem good though and if they can combo into kill moves he has something but if not he likely also struggles a little there. speed is good, neutral b seems like a good edgeguard and recovery mix up (he still just kinda gets hit going to ledge it seems). he seems okayish but needs a lot of tweaking.
Smash Flash 2 Goku is insane. This kit sorta takes from it but it is noticeably worse. In SSF2 he can float similar to peach making his recovery and aerials much better.

since ryu has hadouken and red fireball, they could replace red fireballs with ki blasts.

Goku launches the spirit bomb at the opponent and a special action occurs. The opponent can mash the B button to try and push the spirit bomb back, and the person playing goku can mash the A button to push the spirit bomb onto the opponent. If goku wins, he goes straight into super saiyan blue and the spirit bomb explodes on the opponent dealing 70%, but dosent launch very far (unless the opponent is at a high damage). If goku loses, a special cutscene plays after the spirit bomb hits goku.
Ultra Instinct: Now I personally would love to see ultra instinct goku in the next smash bros but this may be a bit too overpowered. When goku is in ultra instinct, he gets a heat bar. Every time a projectile (non explosion), physical, or sword attack hits goku, he instantly dodges it if the player controling goku dosen't jump out of the way or blocks it. In ultra instinct, goku's shield health is WAY less than other characters. For example, a move like 0% lucario's full charged aura sphere would break gokus shield. I would say moves that deal around 20% - 25% would break his shield. Goku's heat meter goes down by 1% every second and when it runs out, his ultra instinct does too. 1 dodge = 10% meter. 100% meter.
Ultra instinct gokus skills: Goku's B skill will still be kamehameha, but if he gets attacked by a projectile while charging it, he teleports to the opponent and blasts them in almost a single frame so they cant escape it. (LVL one kamehameha does 15%, LVL two does 20%, and LVL three does 35%) His side be will be a rushdown type move where goku rushes forward and punches the opponent downward (25% dmg) (has a meteor effect when offstage) also he can recover from all these moves offstage, unlike wolf. His down B will be a counter but he goes behind the opponent with one arm out and the opponents body gets continuously attacked (40% dmg) His up B gets changed with an uppercut, and if you input up B again, goku shoots a beam downwards simmilar to what he did to jiren.
Ultra Instinct effects: When ultra instinct runs out goku's special skills besides up B get locked for 15 seconds. He can still fight normally, but no special skills.
I Hope you didnt read all this because this was a waste of your time because goku is never getting added to super smash bros ultimate. Maybe super smash bros. supreme will have it. 💀 GOKU OVER ALL THE FIRE EMBLEM DLC THAT DIDNT NEED TO BE ADDED!
I think he looks great. I think he should be able to act out of over-b like Incineroar and maybe some more range on other moves, especially jab. I think it's absolutely critical that his Up-b has an option to attack or just teleport to minimize exploits with counters.
He seems to have a similar move set to the popular Goku mod in Rivals of Ether with a few changes like the lack of a super saiyan meter and Kaioken

He has a lot of combos and kill confirms. His teleport is goated as a conversion attack. Sometimes you can even avoid attacks which I find hilarious. He doesn’t feel op but he feels pretty good. He definitely needs some buffs on the recovery department plus his specials aren’t great.
Yeah, all of his specials feel much weaker than they should be. You commit too much for little payback. I feel like the Kaioken should be a power up state, where you can move quicker and deal more damage, but you take damage over time or have it tied to a guage or something. Kamehameha should be stronger with a bit more charge time and be shiftable. His teleport shouldn't hurt, but should travel farther and allow Goku to move afterwards.
Man this must’ve taken a while considering this is the only completely unique modded character I’ve seen for Ultimate since it’s release!
I'm pretty sure this moveset is as close to a clone that you get in smash to base goku's moveset from Dragon Ball Fighters Z.
But.... what if you could upB while you do the kamehameha and make a teleport version.
Teleporting while grabing one would be nice to. That could end in an grab release animation

Goku’s up-b should be like pickachu’s where you can choose to teleport once or twice and change directions. And the first teleportation shouldn’t send you into free-fall so you can combo out of it but if you choose to double teleport, it send you into free fall
This is base Goku. So it’s not ridiculous for him to be not be super overpowered. Which is nice. Could you see if he has a unique final smash as well?

I think he needs some buffs but not too much. Also maybe do a Kazuya neutral B for Kamehameha where you can shoot it straight or angle it while you’re in the air. That way you could turn it around midair and use it as momentum like in SSF2

How to buff Goku
1. Have more reach on his attacks, maybe give him the ability to use the power pole
2. Get rid of the Taiyoken for something like explosive wave or genki-dama
3. Make it so the Kaioken has more range, and you're not in special fall afterwards
4. Make Instant Transmission less punish able
5. To get out of tough spots use wild sense for his air-dodge
6. Allow him to stall in the air with Kamehameha
7. Simular to DBFZ give him an air dash to escape and create pressure
8. Make one of his taunts him powering up so he can transform into a Super Saiy-jin.
Saw thumbnail at work. Was 98% sure it was a mod but decided to Google "goku smash bros." First result is "Goku (悟空, Gokū) is a playable newcomer in Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo Switch." Got very hyped for roughly 10 seconds.

Idea for goku
Neutral smash: Super saiyan or the form after the one you are in. The transformation for some of the higher tiers has to be long so he isn’t too op.
Side smash: kamehameha can be pointed in all directions even backwards if an opponent is behind
Down smash: solar flare just with better range so it isn’t wack
Up smash: flying nimbus can fly in any direction for 5 seconds and has a 30 minute cooldown and will just give you a small boost when not on cooldown

More than anything, this mod needs smear lines, or whatever they're called in smash (the little highlights that appear whenever an attack happens). Characters just looks so weird without them

I have a bass (the mega man character) moveset concept of a rushdown character with a fox laser neutral b with falco laser hitstun, but only 3 pellets on screen at a time and the damage output that is less than sheik's weakest move to keep the move balanced. His up smash is his Cresent kick like fox, and his up b would be a controllable treble boost. The move would be similar to sandbert's up b from rivals, but it would have a corrin-esk multi hitting hitbox as to not let him be too easy to edge guard and a more strict amount of total frames.
@Cliven Soewarna jab would be a 1 2 from bass into treble bite, dash attack would be a tengu blade dash that could kill, down tilt would be the bass dash that would be similar to mega man, cloud, joker, and sephiroth down tilt as a combo tool.
Up tilt would have a swordie up tilt with the wheel cutter, ftilt would be a simple mii gunner ftilt, fsmash would be ice wall leaning and smashing into the ground, downsmash would be a solar blaze with nerfed range, Nair is a simple sex kick, up air is a ladder up air, back would be similar to zss bair, mii brawler fair, dair is a unique chill spike projectile that would freeze the opponent and meteor smash them, neutral b and up b were said in the first comment, side be would be a command grab that would turn into a falcon down throw animation, and down b would be a water shield like leaf shield, but each of the 9 water bubble would break on impact. He would have a treble tether grab and for his down throw animation, treble shoves his mouth into the ground while bass makes use of another wheel cutter. For his up throw, treble throws the opponent into the air for bass to automatically follow up with a similar animation to mewtwo nair. Forward throw would be a back hand slap, and backthrow is treble tossing the opponent away for bass to automatically follow up with a chill spike to freeze the opponent.
When enough custom characters exist, there should be a cpu tourney with them

I'd love to see Goku be able to act out of teleport, and I'd love to see kaioken have combos kinda similar to fighterZ. more energy based moves would be cool too, stuff with stationary projectiles or slow moving projectiles, maybe some projectiles with a mild homing effect.
also, a comeback mechanic in super Saiyan would be really cool. in 1v1s have it activate on goku's last stock, giving him a movement speed boost and a damage increase, maybe even a float or a third jump; in team battles, have super Saiyan activate when a teammate loses all their stocks *or* on goku's last stock.
in the team scenario, if Goku dies with SS he loses it, and if he has multiple teammates and another one loses all their stocks he goes super Saiyan again
90% of these moves are from Super Smash Flash 2 where goku was a top tier before a very small nerf to his up b. Now he is that game's little mac, but with falco lasers in the form of ki bullets, and peach style float combos
He has a lot of really stiff, chunky moves. In a super floaty, movement heavy game like smash this just gets him destroyed. A character like Mewtwo likes having a move that stops his momentum because his side B helps to mix up recovery timing. Goku having all of his moves stop him in place and telegraph his movement makes him pretty ass tier. Honestly though you wouldn't have to change much to make it better. You'd either want him to hit harder, play a little more fluid, or make his recovery better. You don't have to do all of those, keep him balanced, but one of those tweaks and suddenly you've got yourself a great mod and a legit character.

Fixed him:
Down B - Instant Transmission, make it similar to Meta Knight’s, but the end move can be different types of directional attacks.
Up B - Fly, make it similar to Lucario’s: able to control the direction, but slower, and able to use 8 light, directional aerial attacks (right stick) while in it that don’t do a lot of knock back, but can combo until the Up B ends, with a single stronger attack at the end if you hit b again. It’s like combining Lucario’s Up B, with Sephiroth’s, and Kazuya’s tilts but weaker than the two latters.
Neutral B - (Tap) Ki Blast like base-Joker’s gun. (Hold, lvl 1) Kameha, (Hold lvl 2) Kamehameha, (Hold lvl 3) Full Power Kamehameha. (Aerial) Like Kazuya’s laser, able to go straight or diagonally down, but can also go straight down (spikes when fully charged). Can be charged in air, but falls moderately while charging.
Side B - (no combo modifier charge meter) Flare, which has greater reach but stuns for much less time, (combo charge meter lvl 1, double tap side-b to activate) Kaioken minor temp damage + knockback boost (damages Goku initially), (combo charge meter lvl 2, triple tap side b to activate) Kaioken x10 temp minor speed + damage boost (consistently damages Goku, no knockback boost). Temporary, but can be cancelled (resets combo charge), similar to Shulk’s Buster + Speed, the combo needs to be high in order to get Kaioken x10, and if you hit 200% DMG while in this state, it auto kills Goku. If Kaioken is used after %200, it permanently slows Goku & weakens his attacks. Flare can be used at any percentage.
Rage - Super Saiyan levels. (100% DMG) SSJ1, (150% DMG) SSJ2, 200% SSJ3 (temporary). Speed + Strength boosts throughout, knockback on Smash Attacks becomes slightly lessened (gotta find right balance).
Final Smash - Ultra Instinct: temporary, timed real-time Final Smash. Able to use a variety of Final Smash moves, is way faster, has a limited amount of damage output that can be used. Similar to Cloud’s Limit Break in that his Directional B moves each do a different finisher.
Perfect Parry - Like Aegis’, but he can teleport behind, above, below or even in front of them with a super fast directional input.
All this is what his moves should look like. Maybe switch Down B with Side B though, but each moves the same as described. Definitely needs to be balanced, but only through Knockback, Damage and Speed outputs so to limit combo’s but keep them impressive, avoid infinites, and to keep him fun and competitive.

unless his final smash is a super saiyan move, he’s lacking that goku feel. my instinct would be to have it be a comeback mechanic like terry or sephiroth where he gains powered up attacks and/or super armor.

I agree with the first part of your comment, but when you know a lot about a game, you can get an overall feeling about a character. Also, his moves seem quite slow and hard to connect, but of course these are things that can be improved, so maybe he doesn't suck but just needs some refinement.

nah like these guys arent great players but they're kinda spitting. his frame data is very not good looking, range not good, side b, his burst option and secondary recovery tool, looks very bad, combo game only seems okay to make up for all this. dtilt and utilt seem good though and if they can combo into kill moves he has something but if not he likely also struggles a little there. speed is good, neutral b seems like a good edgeguard and recovery mix up (he still just kinda gets hit going to ledge it seems). he seems okayish but needs a lot of tweaking.

Smash Flash 2 Goku is insane. This kit sorta takes from it but it is noticeably worse. In SSF2 he can float similar to peach making his recovery and aerials much better.
