    Hi everyone. One question, but if you add another connected amplifier besides the sub amplifier, would it disturb the sound? It happens to me that I hear the engine noise. Or when I start the engine, it slams the loudspeaker with that aux stealing system. Please help me

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, bad or poorly insulated RCA wires, poor or bad ground to amp or adapter, and also cheap speaker wires, are usually the main cause of engine noise coming thru speakers, I would check to make sure you have good connection to ground first then if you still have engine noise try replacing your RCA wires, then your speaker wires, if that doesn't work try a ground loop insulator.

      Wire up a switch next to the bass adjuster, just need to run some extra wire to the switch but will work. My biggest worry was the firewall.

    • @TupinkJuanstink
      @TupinkJuanstink 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      A fused switch of I think 20amp max would be needed but dont quote me on that but having a fuse will be safer and more well worth your time in the end since it's only power to turn on the amp and nothing to do with main power wire but also buying a smaller battery to hook up before or a battery capacitor if you dont allready have one so you save your battery as much as possible. Getting a smaller battery is better but about 300 to 400 hundred bucks and a battery capacitor is about 50 or 100 and reduces amps going stright to the battery and surging the main battery.

    I don't want to use a converter, my amp has a hi-level input, so I'm just gonna connect audio wires at the same places you did, but where can I get the remote signal, is it possible to connect to one of the wires just like you did with the battery one? I got some advice to take the rem signal from the fuse box, but I really don't like that idea. Thanks in advance)

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Say Hello To The Robots you could use the same battery wire I used to wire the converter but just make sure that it's only powered when the key is on and not all the time, it's been a while since I did this so I don't remember if it had power all the time or only when the key was on on, you can also wire it to the fuse box using an add a circuit fuse adapter , just find a fuse that only has power when key is on

    Hello my friend. I hope you still read and answer questions. First of all, thanx for the video. I’m working on mu instalation, but my rca adapter does not have the remote cable. Any idea which (radio) wire I can use for remote?? ( I know I can use sigarette lighter cable or directly from fusebox, but radio would be a lot easier.)

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, just saw your comment, anyways, you could just hook it up to the power wire going to the radio (red wire going to pin 18, there is a link in the description with the wiring diagram)I would just check to make sure it gets power when you turn the key on and that it's not powered all the time (it's been a while since I did this so I don't remember if it's powered all the time or when key is turned on).

    thanks

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you can use the same adapter but instead of using the signal from the rear speakers like i did you can use the signal from the wires going to the sub woofer at the trunk of the car, that sub has a plug with 4 wires (brown(L-), brown -yellow(R-), white(L+), white-yellow(R+) here is a diagram and plug wire pic I found in a vw forum www.golfmk7.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3583&stc=1&d=1419285716 www.golfmk7.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=3584&stc=1&d=1419285731
      And of course you would have to run power wires for your amp, and for the power for the inverter adapter you can just tie in to the positive and negative wires going to your amp, then just hook the RCA wires from the adapter to your amp, and also the romote wire from the adapter to the romote on your amp.

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hope this helps, I would just double check on the wires going to the stock sub Im not sure if all the mk7 year models have the same wiring.

    -so pls give me tip about this adapter.... were/how should i fix it in order to close the player in his clips
    -is possile that my player and sensors were not working because the player did not fit fully inside?
    thanks

    • @cocodamc
      @cocodamc 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      since nobody..reply..i figure out myself
      -scosche adapter has small wires so either is connected to a add-on connector ISo type for which you have to buy a VW iso connection-adaptor or you need to just add longer wires which i did - my scoshe adapter is now located on the side near "on-off airbag with good access
      -sensor were blinking because i let my battery unconnected for longer period as i was working on the car with the cables
      -this fast connectors with clip you find on the market with different quality - i had to change mine with new one's better quality
      -ground cable--make sure that the paint is clean away - contact must be on pure metal - i did it on the screw under the right back seat - with no additional wholes
      so, the system is working fine now and we reached to the next level SOUNDPROOFING , all my metal body parts from back side and trunck( golf 7 variant) are vibrating ---

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dexter Williams it sounds pretty good considering I'm using a crappy amplifier, for the size of this sub/box it's pretty loud, it's not earthquake shaking loud but it puts out enough bass to over power the mids and highs the stock stereo puts out ( not sure how it would sound if it was in a trunk of a sedan.), if that makes any sense. Also no idea how it compares to the sound on a g35.

    • @thebeastmedina
      @thebeastmedina  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      robert lamb I guess I just forgot to record it, the remote hooks up to the blue wire on the adapter 3:13 and then at the remote terminal at your amp.

    Where’s your fuse? Not using a fuse is really stupid considering you might end up putting a couple of hundred of ampère on your vehicle (which will kill you if you get in contact or burn your car down).
