Dreadful play. None of it fits together or very credible. The end is so disjointed and both women are completly shunned but then in a moment seem not to care about what was said and done.
I know; an entire play's worth of Proteus's infidelity to his lover and also his friend, and attempt to actually rape her is just glossed over and forgiven completely in the equivalent of two pages in a book. At least at the end of Taming of the Shrew we can feel a bit better by headcanoning that Catherine will eventually poison Petrucchio and inherit his money, but this one just leaves one feeling horrible at the end.
Excellent. I love it. And I love this brilliant Sylvia!!!
good video
But that ending? Julia should have kicked him where it hurt.
also known as "The Two Non-Gentlemen of Verona" the way they treated their ladies... LOL
I love the fact that people/scholars seem to love this play and enjoy it, meanwhile it is just absolutely vile😂😂
What about crab?
