Very cool video. We stayed at the W Hotel and was thinking about going to Andaz on our next Costa Rica visit. You are absolutely right about the people there. They are very friendly, and that is one of the things that make us miss Costa Rica more. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, very informative. I'm thinking of going in late August early September. How was the weather, temperature and humidity wise. Thanks

We went in late Dec and the weather was great! It seems like late Aug would be in the rainy season for Papagayo beach-weather.com/Central-America/Costa-Rica/Guanacaste-Region/Peninsula-Papagayo/averages/

Loved Costa Rica, but missed it here. I really did love the La Fortuna area and cannot wait to share our time there. Subed to see what else you get into. I think I might be #2000 for you. Hoping we get there soon too. We are both ecological anthropologists. Bear studies food culture and food production, and I am a sustainability archaeologist. As such, we love to meet and support creators and guides who share the history, culture, food, and nature on social media. Love what you are doing and hope you might like ours too. Cheers! - Turtle

What airport did you land in and how long did it take to get from the airport to the hotel?

We landed in San Jose and drove about 5hr? In total. We stayed at La Fortuna for 2 days. It should be much closer from the Liberia airport (

    Way to expensive

ah, it's actually more reasonably priced compared with similar resorts in USA or Mexico.
